    Good one. But there are better techniques like edge extensions. In this method we may lose some fine details while blurring.

      Hi angulurivamsi,
      for keying refinement, no method is only one method, there are lot of different ways to do same thing, here i was talking about max/min so talked tips related to only max/min.
      Here we are not doing blur in main pipe, we are doing blur separately for averaging the luminance and then adding in main pipe with max & min as per requirement.
      we don't loose details if uses with care.

    So, you're using a merge node to mix only one channel and push calculation on three useless channels...The channel merge is here for that.

      Hi cyril Conforti, in this video i was talking about possible use of max/min, indeed best way to merge alpha is channel merge, i have already talked about that, please have a look.
