I know what you mean Bunky, I slowed way way down on buying anything from E-bay anymore!!! Half the things I bought in the last year were either not as listed or broken in shipping and it was beginning to become a nightmare getting in touch with the sellers and sending everything back!!! Believe it or not, the last canister vacuum that I got from an E-bay seller still had the bag in it and it was loaded with cat poop!!! I got in touch with E-bay and they gave me a full refund from the seller and told me to throw the vacuum out!!! Thanks for the video Bunky and sorry for your disappointment, But have a great weekend just the same... Bob
I feel for you. I remember when I bought 80's Philips P74 Electronic and the whole body was cracked. I managed to fix it with superglue. All that because of bad packaging job. It didn't stop there. Bag collar was broken so I needed to make bag adapter for it. I hope you have better luck next time. I really enjoy your videos.
That is so dang sad! Those electric brooms are so cool (I’m sure you’ve seen the red and black checkered Dirt Devil version as well)! This blue Royal is fantastic…so what a shame about the handle! As I’m sure you’ve seen, Ibaisaic tends to ask the sellers to remove the wheels and handles…but so few do. And what a travesty when the seller includes his own filth in the way of a used bag! It is indeed absurd!
I’ve been lucky on eBay so far, but I haven’t bought vacuums in a while. The machine looks nice and sounds nice, but unfortunately the handle is broken. I’ve thought about getting one of these for my collection, but most of the sellers are asking too much. I can’t believe the seller wanted this back for a refund!
@@J-nj8uv I haven’t been so lucky with eBay. If you have been watching some of my videos you will see I’ve had to return several of my eBay purchases and thank God I’ve received my money back. Now I did get my money back because I sent it into eBay and let them take care of it.
I have read often that the seller sent the product as it was supposed to be, but the shipping company employees drop, throw the packages, etc.., so this may be what happened here. I dont know why when people sell machines or donate them, they leave a dirty bag in. The belt and bag to me are minor things, since most people would replace those items when they receive the items
@@dancline2143 I would have put a new bag and belt in and kept the vacuum. However With a broken handle It definitely was going back. eBay does offer a full refund if things are wrong. As for the dirty bag? lol 😂. I thought I was the only person that asked myself that same question. Why do people send a bag of dirt to someone for crying out loud. 🤨
