    Can't wait to see part two! But I'm also very glad you didn't, like, get glass in your eyes or something. I was expecting much worse. 😬🩸🩹😅

      Oh mah gawsh that would have been terrible...it looks sketch FOR SURE but I think the likelihood of glass busting through both bags to hit me was not high. Glad I lived to craft another day 🙃

    Dang, that mallet actually rips! Any chance on a mallet tutorial?

      Hahaha my partner made it! Go check out his woodworking channel and ask him to make a video about mallets lol ua-cam.com/users/NJTaylor89

    I want to go to Iceland so bad...

      I would 100% go again. Maybe that can be the place we all meet up when the world is normal and we can travel again? 😉

    Nice video. Sometimes you just have to try, fail, learn and enjoy yourself. Nice footage from Iceland. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.

    Perfect wholesome nature intro, and it's great that you included the glass mishap because it shows that even the greats have slip ups

      Thank you! And yes I think it’s very important to share the actual process. No one is perfect, no project goes 100% to plan, and that is totally fine ✌🏻👽✨

    I'm going to be straight with ya... my favorite part was smashing the crap out of that bottle with a club!! (with your opening scene coming in a close second)! Looking forward to part 2., keep up the good work.

      @RaqrexArt  4 роки тому +2

      Hahaha thanks Troy! In my mind I legit only smashed that bottle twice and I was a bit shocked watching the footage to see that "Raquel The Destroyer" actually hit it 5 times 🤣

    "It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time" and "It Hasn't Gone According to Plan" should be my personal house mottos. Also, I'm glad to see someone else repaints prepainted miniatures. But I can honestly say that was the best attempt at art with a homemade mallet and broken glass I've ever seen!

      Hahaha thanks Rob! And you know what...if life always went "according to plan"...what fun would that be? 😉

    I also love Iceland. Maybe my favourite place I’ve visited. But as a person from the Canadian prairies my perspective of the weather was very different 🤣.......so mild, such warm! Did you experience the broken glass on the streets on the weekends in Reykjavik after bar nights?...that the locals will only tell you are from the fairies?

    • @RaqrexArt
      @RaqrexArt  4 роки тому +1

      No fairies - just elves and terrifying weather 😉 We were there for about a week and just scratched the surface of what Iceland has to offer! Can't wait to go back and catch me a fairy! ...also I am filled with guilt for having tried Puffin. After the trip I learned that Puffins mate for life. I hope I didn't have someone's husband for dinner 😭

      Hahahah. You should make sure to definately include a puffin bbq in your nook. =p
      I'll write an episode of Paint to Life about it Raqrex ;)

    Things I liked about this video: the way you blend your storytelling and your crafts, the way you painted the minis, the silly edits, the blue hair, and the fact that you survived that... experiment... with the glass. Thing I didn't like about this video: it ended. See you in part 2!

    • @RaqrexArt

    Try tempered glass as it brokes more evenly but hit at the corners. It will make things more secure but even though use gloves, a face shield, put on some jeans and maybe boots
