I was surprised Dokkan fans were operating on 'this isn't hype' when I first started - so long as the characters are good, I'm in since I just like Dragon Ball in general
@@ClubVLonetoo many people operating on hype results in bloated super class categories too, which keeps this issue going i do understand from a sales point, companies always want to make money, but even still it’s a bit annoying
Hi, tysm for considering my take! I haven't used Gogeta too much, but I think you're fair in saying he's 1. Looking at his kit, I'd say he's tied with Broly, if not Gogeta at 1 and Broly at 2. Also Broly is great for current content (on global), he is going to outage phy trio and str gohan 100%. Tysm for considering my take :3
To elaborate on my hot take: i feel like the difficulty in some of the newer events has been extremely stagnant. the goten and trunks fight gets imediately DEMOLISHED by the Brolys, the gohan fight is the only one that felt actually difficult i like it no comment, the SSJ2 gohan fight relies on his ki reduction and territory skill (which INT broly just negates, OR TEQ UI's domain) the SSJ trio fight has a super boring third phase that is free with TEQ carnival broly's attack breaking on 24 ki. etc, etc. you get the point, this new blue zone DOES NOT make the broken units from the WWDC have good fights to scale how good they are. BONUS HOT TAKE: the idea of Blue Zone and Red Zone is completely boring, and we need a zone for specific category enemys, example being a zone with only uncontrollable power enemies, or a zone with only regeneration enemys, ALSO bring back limiting the characters you can use to specific category's man, it would make making new teams for the fights that restrict to say, only joined forces characters, than only using a movie heroes team to absolutely demolish the boss.
Oi thanks for giving my long ass take a go. And yeah if most releases followed that logic, instead of just carnivals, it could even make the existence of a newly released 200% or 170% + 30% leaders to just allow the team to be stat monsters. And allow characters who just, arent that good with their kit, some more options. Take STR exchange goku/gohan, if they got an extra additinal from a leader skill, they now have the chance to exchange on their SECOND APPEARANCE, which is a massive buff to that character
Can't wait until we get the next version of whatever the Scaling Mechanic will be tbh it feels like 10 year and beyond is just begging for one And all good! I enjoyed it. Dokkan's an interesting game to think about, because the skeleton is there, it feels like they could do so much with it
i feel for veteran players especially, grindable events would be a great addition. I dont like sitting through a hard event with a random category team, for 7 tickets to summon for sr trunks and sr zamasu. If it had dragon stone rewards, or maybe even a shop, where it had refreshable options like dragon stones, link orbs, elder kais, etc, i think would be good and incentivize players to play hard content over and over. It would also help older players that can only get most if not all of their stones from dailies and new content. Ive been here since the beginning, but the 9th Anniversary Broly, Gogeta, Beast, Gammas, then they skip banners to immediately put Ui Goku, Toppo, (easiest skip), then Cell Max, and then Teq Broly, Goku,Gohan,Trunks, Gohan, and Int Broly, DRAINED me and for the first time in these 9 years, i really dont have much hype for the game.
An infinitely refreshing shop for essentially p2w resources, like Kai's, stones and skill orbs, for doing the difficult stuff does sound nice. It's the content that most players will end up repeating the most, for nothing. Not even link levels or XP. Might have to make it cost stamina to attempt, or make every difficult event 3-5 times a day, but there are SO MANY FIGHTS that that shouldn't be a problem, really. And just heck farming some characters anyway, I just want to burn Kai's and USE THE DAMN fellas
@@kickasscowell5654 i agree. there isnt much reasoning for summoning for characters if you only use them to clear 2 hard stages and then just link levelling. Like the new Gohan/Piccolo that just dropped, there's no new content to use them for, so they're just sitting in the box. Granted, im not sure if something is coming up soon in a few days or not, but other than complete random missions you may not have, its grinding link levels with them and playing hard content to justify pulling for them, and thats IF you get them. The banner itself...
The other modes inside of Dokkan battle-(pettan battle and ultimate clash) are kind of forgotten and I honestly don’t know what to say about them. Yeah they give stones and other rewards but other than that they’re just THERE 🔳🔲
Hot take: Dokkan is actually way harder if you put it in perspective of a new player who doesn’t have twitter or follow any Dokkan social media accounts. For Ex. How is a player supposed to know how much of boost is “raise atk/def” or “greatly raise atk/def” if the game doesn’t give you any details.
not a hot take here but GUILTY GEAR MUSIC 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Guilty Gear music is goated
thanks for putting my take in the vid
i agree too that a less popular character will get more people pulling, like AGL ginyu

Aye, no problem! I think the top 5-ish characters are sooooo good, I'm not really fussed about anyone putting any of them at 1 or 2 tbh

The category bloat is too real

The way prime battle goku came out means prime battle frieza is gonna be #1 f2p unit and it won’t be close, f2p units are back on the come up
