I enjoyed Station Eleven as well, but I think I’ll enjoy it more on a reread so I can appreciate it properly. I expected the virus to be more of a pivotal aspect of the plot but it was very character and symphony focussed rather than apocalyptic like I was expecting! For once, the two novels you mentioned at the start, I’ve actually read! I’m so surprised. 😂
If you liked Station Eleven, you might like this other book called Nod by Adrian Barnes! They sound like they have a similar feel of being apocalyptic but also quite introspective and character focused
What a great video. I wondered how people could fit so much reading in and then of course "audio books" - I work in audio you would think I would know this. I'm going to check the Skillshare out and will let you know how I fair with it.
Bro as someone from California, I very much understand the fire situation. So much smoke everywhere. (Everyone I know is fine, our places never like in a fire)
OMG Caz you reading Station Eleven was basically a glimpse into the future with Covid. Called it!
" The biggest question I had after finishing the series was what happened to Zuko,s mum"
The whole avatar fandom in a nutshell
I'm so excited for Aurora Burning and how sweet you were sent a physical copy of the cover! I was curious what happened to Zuko's Mom too!
I love your vlogs :- ) I'm glad you liked Station Eleven, it's on my physical TBR :- ) I wasn't wowed by Amanda Lovelace's poetry collection either.
Love this video! I'm so happy you uploaded a vlog again ;;;
