Hey! Thanks for the detailed video. I’ve got a couple questions since I’m also leaning towards the same setup with the lynx AES out to speakers. 1. Does the digital volume attenuation before it hits the speakers audibly degrades the quality? (I know this is a bit of a rabbit hole to crawl into but wanna know what your experience is on this) 2. Since the Kii’s have Kii-remote, why did you chose to go this way? Purely for atmos reasons? And 3, does this software also support output via bluetooth? Would be awesome if I could check a mix/master directly through my phones speaker.
Thanks for the heads up Matty. I'm also going digital to my monitors now, so no longer need a DAC, but do want to be able to easily control my speaker volume (preferably with a hardware rotary controller). I'm on Logic though, so not sure Sphere can work for me. I was thinking about grabbing a RME Digiface and ARC combo to use for control (and benefit from the great low latency RME drivers), but I'll have a look into Sphere first! My only other concern is whether it adds latency? As I also produce using Midi hardware controllers, so that could get annoying.
Hello Matty, Thank's for your vidéo. I have Avid Native HD Card - Aurora(n) with LT-HD2. I cannot routed the outputs on the Aurora. You have an explanation ? My best Christophe
No. It's on sale on Reverb if you want it! Just don't need it since I got the Kii's. It's a bit of overkill. Still think the Trinnov is great for any other speaker.
Great as always Matty 🤘

Matty, you are not using Trinnov and Le control anymore ?

now for them to make an iPad app for this program and then we're all set..
You can use Avid's free eucon app on iPad and it makes a great controller for Sphere.
