Quan chi portal looks diferrent too! At the actual state of the game you cannot open a portal that far!

Achshually, Quan Chi released in December 14th, so it's been a little over 2 months since we had a new playable character ☝️🤓
I'm not necessarily excited for the character himself but his play style is dope and he has a command grab. He looks like he will be able to contend with every character
