3:15 what makes this even more brutal is his scream becoming higher pitched as his vocal cords are getting stretched while his head is being ripped off
In military u might have to see disturbing stuff haven't joined yet but I know u will see stuff just like police officer or in the medical field all kinds of jobs u see 💀 ppl
3:31 saw this on another day of the dead video but despite our brains preventing us from doing so, it would be as easy as biting a carrot to do the same with our fingers
My favorite of the Original Dead Trilogy! Shame it couldn't be the "Gone with the Wind of Zombie Films" That Romero initially penned it as, but it still had some of the most memorable deaths, atmosphere and gore!
I just feel bad for Bub in general if the prequel comic is anything to go by, him and his son were just trying to reunite with the former’s unit (aka the soldiers in the bunker) only for a bunch cannibals to ambush them and.. I won’t even bother saying what they did to Bub’s son!
The message in this film is a great one. The action in Land of the Dead was supposed to be in this one but several things happened that cost them those scenes. On the internet though you can actually find the whole script.
Mike at Sick Flicks will or already has had a FIELD DAY with this one. Too bad studio interference didn't allow George to go with his original vision for this one. I mean, it's still good and gory as FUCK, but it would have been interesting to see what George intended. Tom Savini said the script was ENORMOUS. He called it the Ben Hur of zombie movies.
5:02-5:22 Almost 40 years later, Captain Henry Rhodes' death still feels so satisfying. To me, _Day of the Dead (1985)_ serves as a great conclusion to the original trilogy of George A. Romero's Living Dead series.
Realistically, the zombies would rot away in a few years or so, and the muscle decomposing would make them weaker. In theory, you could make the argument that the lack of inhibtition makes them stronger (think how people high on adrenaline rushes can ignore some pain), but most of the time, the Romero zombies kill by sheer numbers and ambush. Other examples in the series bare it out, like the end of Dawn of the Dead. Except that one soldier at 0:50 . He was just pathetic.

Did you guys knew that Romero's original script for this one contained a lot of elements from Land of the Dead? The thing is that the budget would have been too high and the producers wanted Romero to cut the violence in it so he decided to accept a smaller budget than cut the violent stuff.

The Head removal scream is the most disturbing Zombie death scene ever that I wouldn't wish for my enemy.
You should check out Patrick's death in Desd Set. While not as "distorted", to say, its quite more brutal and somewhat sadistic.
@@LordofSadFac I just saw it and it ain't even close.
Reminds me of Miche's scream from Attack on Titan.
@@unholyperiodza5442 Yeah don't remind me 😬
I legit find it disturbing. I hate how the pitch of the scream raised as the head was being ripped off.
I love the way Bud gave commander Rhodes a final salute before getting his lower have torn away from him.

No wonder why it got age restricted, that head torn was enough for this vid to be age restricted

3:17 scariest scream ever
Probably because it's quite an accurate depiction of what it would sound like if you were to scream while having your vocal cords stretched..
This actually gave me traumas so much that i cant sleep for 2 days back then
Carnage count always picks the most graphic and R rated films ever
Terrifying but cool
Damn shame Bub didn't make even a cameo in Land of the Dead.
I hope twilight of the dead has him

I agree and at the end of the movie, I actually was rooting for Bub the zombie
The goriest of Romero dead movies!! I think the guys in the helicopter died on that Island at the end!!!

George Romero perfect masterpiece for zombie horror genre .
As much as I hate Captain Rhodes, he probably had the most baller final line ever of someone getting eaten by zombies.
Death was more brutal than the other
Good sequel 😊

5:04 whoops
The beginning there is dead body
Here’s the bible in Japanese 1
