- President Volodymyr Zelenskyy used his opening speech to argue that international sanctions against Russia must be maintained until peace in Ukraine is restored. He criticised global allies for their concern over losing capital in Russia, stating that Ukraine is facing the threat of losing people within its own border, describing the cost of sanctions as a "peace tax." He also listed factors besides war that Ukraine will need to overcome in order to become a happy country, among them: poverty and corruption. In order to make Ukraine appealing to those who have left, he explained, there must be stable economic growth and establishment of the rule of law, allowing all members of society to feel the positive effects of prosperity.
President Volodymr, I pray that you will experience the power of christ to make Ukraine a happy peaceful, place as described in Ephesians. May love and peace reign. Amen
