Awesome reaction!! I´m glad you´re starting to react to stuff from her! She co-wrote almost every or all of the songs on Sweetener, those ladies on stage were her mom and her nonna!! She´s a light lyric soprano also, and her STUNNING vocal range is D3-B5(C#6)-G#7(Bb7)
SweetenerBae her range is actually D3-B5-Eb7, more recently it’s more Eb3-G#5-Eb6 hasn’t really hit an E6 since last year
She also has a screamed C#6 in thmt, and higher whistles, but besides that, she did an E6 in the carpool karaoke, the Eb6 was very sharp, and has a debatable A5 in the youtube brandcast, but you´re right haha
SweetenerBae screams don’t count as notes, that’s why they’re screams. Highest belt she’s hit is a B5 and it’s unlikely now she’ll ever go as high. And a sharp Eb6 doesn’t make it an E6. Just makes it a sharp Eb6 and I don’t think it was that sharp anyways.
She did hit an A5 in that performance but the last time she hit an A5 was last year, she’s been hitting moreso around G#5-G5.
The ‘whistles’ higher than Eb7 were exclamations and were just squeaks, that G#7 was polyphonic but to think it was intentional polyphonic whistle.. nope
I´ll give you an example, the first performance of problem in the dwt, has that horrible G#5 right? It was screamed, but why people count that into the range of that date if it only was a scream? It makes no sense, if she corrects her technique, she might be able of belting out a note she could only scream before.. so anyway. The Eb6 was actually Eb6/E6, i didn´t even noticed it until people starting saying it and i heard it in depth and they were right. And those "squeaks" you´re referring to, she can do those notes, even if they were short, she hit F7 this year, if she wanted to sustain it longer, she could, it was only a squeak because she wanted to
SweetenerBae that’s not a valid comparison though, it was probably added to her range because we all know she can hit G#5. It was probably added to the range because it wasn’t screamed but just a badly hit high note. There’s a difference between screaming a note and hitting a bad note.
Screaming a C#6? When she could barely hit a B5 and hasn’t shown sign of being able of being able to go that high ever? She really hurt her voice with the Be my Baby vocals

Jarion Nhorn i dont have perfect pitch so it probably is a D# but the note sounds so similar to the studio version which IS a Eb6. Plus EVERYONE else who reacted to the note said it was an Eb6...
Butera Fire Vocals D# and Eb are the same note. On the piano it’s the black key in between D and E.
Technically what you call it depends on what key signature the song is in. So for this song, which is in the key signature of Eb, it’s TECHNICALLY an Eb6 that she sings.

Selenators HQ nope not really, some of her songs are ideas given from the companies since she doesn’t have her own studio, pretty sure she can afford being stand alone though. Other song are her ideas and her writing. On this album Pharrell Williams, Beyoncé, missy Eliot have helped in some songs but get well soon, breathin, ntltc, and tlis were written only by Ariana

You could technically also label a ‘D#6’ as ‘Eb6’ just saying it’s more common for ppl to say ‘Eb’ than ‘D#’ now ♥️♥️

She had horrible diction a few years ago, and despite her great range I used to give her plenty of sht about it. I'll admit though, her singing diction has gotten much better in the past two years or so. She clearly actually has worked on it specifically.
