music4life Hi music4life, Thanks for writing! I remember watching Ms. H when she began her career as a guest on either Merv Griffin, or Phil Donohue afternoon TV shows. I was amazed by her then, and still am. I'm very grateful for your "goosebumps" comment! What a goddess, and what we've lost! Thanks for writing.
Agreed these guys and the ones in 1965 had great chemistry love these two versions the best since the Prince and Cinderella have already met twice before this and remember their previous conversations with the slipper confirming the things they said
+Pan Mantequilla Hi Pan Mantequilla! My sincere apologies accompany this message. Sometimes YT really confuses me. This message says it was dated 3 months ago! I just saw it for the 1st time today; I'm very sorry. I'm very grateful that you wrote. Best always to you, varadero
I remember it like it was yesterday. I was still 20 about to turn 21. I was so shocked to hear it while I was about to talk to some designated relatives. I told them (not naming names) on the phone that Whitney Houston died as it was Brandy Norwood's 33rd birthday. Even my mother was shocked that she had no words.
I’m so glad Disney put them on Disney+. This is one of the best (for me it IS the best) live-action Cinderella adaptions musically and emotionally produced. The cast and crew deserved it from the day Disney+ launched.
+camie1155 Thanks camie1155, With all of the love that still exists for her here on earth, and now that she's with her baby girl, I'm thinking she'll be just fine! I miss her a lot! Thank you for writing. varadero
+Jessica Perry Hi Jessica Perry! Like in the original "Cinderella," from Disney, I think you'll make this happen on your wedding day! Please see below for a better explanation for the origin of this lovely song! There were several "liberties" taken with this TV production. Actually, they all made perfect sense based on the incredible melodies they gave us! As to who was the author/composer of all the new pieces, we'll discuss that later! I'm so happy to hear from you! I loved Whitney so much, and will always miss her. Best to you, varadero
by far my fave song by her at the end when she glides upwards to the sky it's like she really is an angel RIP QUEEN VOICE! YOU ARE ALWAYS ALWAYS REMEMBERED!
battousaiblade Hi! I posted this, and the scene you wrote about was the closest place to heaven for me too! It's as if she's flying up to meet her God! I know she's safe now, and will always be an amazing goddess for all of us to know! I'm more worried about her Bobby Christina now. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. varadero
I have seen all three versions of Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella and this is 100% my favorite and it is all because of Whitney! The other fairy godmothers just can't hold a candle to her, I mean, they are wonderful but she was so fabulous and impossible to top.
Wow!!!!! I hope when I see God that voice alone will be front in center in Heaven's Choir. That ending for years have always giving me chill bumps and tears.
Just as Whitney's voice soars at the end of the song, there really is something religious about this ending! She certainly is magnificent, and I agree with you about her being at the head of the choir. Thank you so much for writing. Best wishes, varadero

I'm honored by your post and comment! I agree with you! I suspect you're right, and that lovely Whitney is now lending us her beautiful voice! Sadly there's no way to know exactly when, but I often hear her and am so honored when this happens! It's as if she's just part of the beauty of the wind! She's here, and we share in her wonder! Thank you!
I always always am FILLED WITH GOOD SPIRIT when I put this on. and 9/10 I cry tears releasing my old feelings sadness and hurt but on each note Whitney voice shifts effortlessly from alto to soprano, chest to head.. my tears flow out of joy and gratitude for God's gift of life and creation.
@@jeffreysnydr and the obvious crack in his voice makes it 100xm funnier lol i honestly wonder if it was improvised and they just kept it for giggles. It fits his character so well!

Brandy and Whitney were enchantingly fantabulous as Cinderella and her fairy godmother. Also, Paolo is so handsome and talented! I swoon every time I watch this beautiful fairy tale
With so many postings of this portion of the show, I'm very honored that you would choose to honor the one I uploaded! I'm really elated, and thanks so much for your comment!
