- Beloved Whitney breaks all the rules here! She's not only beautiful, but possibly in her best voice ever! Sorry for the tiny audio/video glitches in this tribute. I got over them! I hope you will also. Merely observing lovely young Brandy, handsome Paolo Montalban, the spectacular company, and the incomparable Ms. Houston is really a miracle! Not sure if it will matter much if anyone sees this, but Whitney meant the world to me!

I remember it like it was yesterday. I was still 20 about to turn 21. I was so shocked to hear it while I was about to talk to some designated relatives. I told them (not naming names) on the phone that Whitney Houston died as it was Brandy Norwood's 33rd birthday. Even my mother was shocked that she had no words.

I’m so glad Disney put them on Disney+. This is one of the best (for me it IS the best) live-action Cinderella adaptions musically and emotionally produced. The cast and crew deserved it from the day Disney+ launched.

I have seen all three versions of Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella and this is 100% my favorite and it is all because of Whitney! The other fairy godmothers just can't hold a candle to her, I mean, they are wonderful but she was so fabulous and impossible to top.

I always always am FILLED WITH GOOD SPIRIT when I put this on. and 9/10 I cry tears releasing my old feelings sadness and hurt but on each note Whitney voice shifts effortlessly from alto to soprano, chest to head.. my tears flow out of joy and gratitude for God's gift of life and creation.

This is my favorite cinderella movie. I plane on having this song playing when husband and I renew our wedding vowels on our 15 year anniversary
When Christopher recognizes Cinderella from the marketplace, he tries the slipper on her foot and it fits perfectly then the stepmother and her two daughters are horrified. In the end, Cinderella and Christopher both soon marry in a grand ceremony, while the palace gates close on her step family causing Cinderella's stepmother gets fired, forcing them to watch from outside. The Fairy Godmother and the people felt happy and cheer that Cinderella and Christopher both are kissing on their lips in the scene of There Is Music in You from the Disney TV Movie version of Cinderella.
R.I.P Whitney Houston. And Paolo montalban and Brandy make a cute Cinderella and Prince.

Up to Whitney's version of Cinderella, I'd already seen 2 earlier TV versions, both pretty old. This song wasn't in either. So, did some research and found its origin!
