When using keystone and other digital correction, you may be significantly increasing the input lag. You should be testing without using any digital manipulation. This can add 60ms or more of lag to the gaming experience due to the processing required for digital zoom, keystone correction, or 4-corner adjustments.
But realistically you will never just put the projector on and leave it , it will always need adjustment to everyone’s own situation.
If anything , testing with keystone adjustments will be the most accurate representation of the average consumers uses.
It’s like saying a car drives well but only when in a straight line😂.
@@MrHtech - It's fine to test with those features on, but you should have the knowledge and experience to set it up properly without keystone or digital zoom to get the best performance and then be able to speak to the differences. Keystone and digital zoom should NEVER be used on a properly installed projector, and any qualified reviewer should be screaming that out loud. Those are convenience features. Not like tires on the car, or making turns in the car, but saying that the car stereo is bad so you shouldn't drive the car. It's silly to turn on the radio, then fail to actually drive the car the way it was intended to be driven. Turn off the convenience features and actually test it to the best of the ability of the projector.
Oh, and better projectors have lens shift and optical zoom to size and get the image on screen properly without digital correction. That's what people should buy if they care about placement versatility. You are just targeting towards the least informed consumer you possibly can without informing them of what best practices are.
@@paulvail7926 no doubt better projectors have better quality/materials and no need for digital zooming .
But the “convenience features” I would argue are a necessity for anyone that doesn’t have a proper cinema setup with a screen etc to project onto.
Plus it has the same lag wether or not I use the digital zoom/keystone 👌🏼

Xbox series X reports this as a native 4k 60hz projector. Check out the AVS forum discussion. Lens on it does not seem very good though.
@@hmax6 yeh just confusing it says 1080 full hd on the front
@@MrHtech The LCD panel inside is 99% native 4k. As for the case it looks the same as some of the Xiaomi Wanbo models, so they probably took it off the self and did not bother to remove the plate markings. Regarding the lens, one image corner is always blurrier and cannot focus properly. This along with lack of Frame Interpolation and that it cannot display true HDR color due to being white led are the only real drawbacks of this projector. Otherwise, brightness is good, contrast is very good for the price and Google TV works without problems.
@hmax6 I mean the quality is decent and when you play 4k content etc it’s very visually nice, but for gaming I can’t recommend, the remote being IR and not Bluetooth like advertised I don’t like.
