I belong to Telangana and I never watched Kannada movies. But when I saw the news about appu at his funeral. Started digging about his life story and came to know that he has such a pure soul. It's very proud that you part of India. Till now I have never seen a person in any industry like you. You're truly amazing and always miss you. God always takes only good people.

Couldn’t stop crying after hearing this interview how can someone be so down to earth. So balanced even after being in limelight from the day he was born, so grounded. When people still want to be only hero’s even at the age of 65-70 he says I am getting old who knows I can not always say I will be only a hero and he is only 44 or 43 at the time of interview. And why god had to be so cruel and take away such a beautiful soul. World would have been a more beautiful place with a human being like you puneet. God should have given you one chance, atleast one more chance. Came to know about you only after your death but now I am a big fan and will always be of not just the hero u were but the human being you were. Miss you appu💔😢😭

I have never cried for any actor, but I did for this wonderful human being, i could not control my tears for him...its so unfortunate, only if God had given him one more chance to live, now if we want to see him in real, its not possible, how the death separates people....Puneeth is jovial and cheerful always with a smiling face...now his family must be shattered of his untimely death and as fans miss him a lot...only if there was a way for him to come back.

Can't hold the tears after seeing this video. I saw Puneet when he was just 10 years old sitting next to my table in a restaurant in 1985. He was bubbly with energy even at that age.

Puneet came here to stay for a month and do car trips around Melbourne and stayed with her. They come for dine -in 4 times in a week (either lunch or dinner) & sometimes call me to deliver 'Biryani' . He was very humble just like a normal person 👌🏼! Even after he left to India, we took care of Ashwini until her studies completed

Beyond the grief, heart break, pain and distress we feel about losing Appu. One may question how we feel this way even though we never met him or spoke to him but merely by watching him. And when I questioned this myself, I realised that it's nothing but the purest form of consciousness in us. Which is love. You don't have to meet a person personally to love him. Over the decade we watched him transform into this golden hearted person. Suddenly he's no more, physically not in this realm. But what were we really attached to? And are not ready to let go of??

Irrespective of who you are, where you come from or what ever.
Somewhere in us lies the desire to be like him, to live like him. Then let us be. That is all that matters. He made such an impact in people's life because of his perspective of life and how he lived his truth. I hope we all learn this from him, as he learnt from his father. Now is the time to question your core beliefs, they sacrificed their lives to bring light in countless number of lives. So ask yourself, who are you and why are you here. What will you ever do with your life, as you take every breath. Is it really worth it do what you are doing? Easier said than done but I hope we find the courage to do it when we're ready.

I think we often recognize someone for who they're or try to know them for who they were after they're gone. Puneeth is one such person. He was a good soul otherwise an entire state wouldn't mourn for days. Huge loss for people of karnataka. I pray with all my heart for his wife and kids.
