I’m an older man now, and my children are now grown and are young adults… We watched this movie every Christmas season… Watching you react brought back some very warm and joyous memories. A tear or two were shed 🤷🏻♂️… Thanks for the warm memory. Great reaction, Merry Christmas 🎄 🔔
An interesting movie that adds A LOT to a beautiful and much more straightforward children's book, with the same message. Really enjoyed your reaction!
They were raised in Michigan, which is referenced in the movie. There's even a diploma from a Michigan college he attended on the wall and the train is modeled from the Pere Marquette 1225.
Honestly this movie will always give the Christmas spirit for me and bring back the magic. Especially if feeling down. One of the first movies i watch at christmas every year. Honestly you should watch it every year bliss
I've bee struggling to get into the xmas spirit this year but having watched this reaction and seeing how excited you were getting with xmas that by the end I am now. Thank you Biss - great reaction and choice.
I am almost 34 years old now. I still believe in Santa. But i did figure out myself, that Santa is not a figure or person, like us. To me Santa is the whole spirit of Christmas :) And as long you can keep that spirit alive, then Santa is living and exists within you, and are REAL! :)
Great reaction! Haven't watched this in quite a long time and I enjoyed it immensely. Although not technically a holiday movie, I would like to recommend Life Itself (2018) on Prime Video. Because it is about sacrifice, relationships, tragedy, and generational love, it would also be appropriate for New Years. It is one of my favorite movies of the last decade, but it always makes me both miss and appreciate my parents.
Great reaction! I believed in Santa Claus until I was 12 also. A couple days before Christmas, I saw a gift under the tree for me already labeled "From Santa Claus." I was devastated. 😂
Little Ms Bliss if you are planning on watching more Christmas movies I would recommend that you watch A Christmas Story and/or Elf, and if you would like watch an all-time classic you should watch It's A Wonderful Life!!
Besides Hot Coco... Egg Nog, is one of the other top western Classic Christmas drinks. One of my Puerto Rican friends, introduced me to "Coquito". A drink they have during Christmas. Its made from Sweet Coconut Cream, Evaporated Milk, and a High Proof Rum... and its quite Devine. Traditional Irish Cream Coffee (Irish Cream liquor, whipped cream, and Coffee), is also fantastic, for the Holidays. Mulled (Spiced) Wine, is also a Traditional Holiday Classic
Such a great movie in every way! This was my first time to watch this and your heartfelt comments Biss were getting me teary eyed. You are such a treasure...THANK YOU!
When I was a kid I loved this movie. People keep saying that the animation is creepy or weird... well, when I watched it, as a kid, it was totally okay. I was dreaming about such a journey :D
Rudolph was never part of the original reindeer team that pulled the sleigh. He was a marketing promotion from a major department store chain during the Christmas holiday (1939). Around the same period portrayed in the Polar Express, he was later immortalized in a song (1949). My guess is they didn't want Rudolph's nose to outshine the story about belief. :) Merry Bissmass!
Nice reaction! I also found out that Santa wasn't real at 12 too, but this movie is great and deserves a 9/10 from me honestly. Glad you liked it and Merry Christmas to you and your channel's success for next year!
when I saw this film I honestly thought the kid was the train attendant. Especially after when he told the kid that someone saved him, just like the kid got saved.
I BELIEVE!! Christmas is my favorite holiday. I enjoy giving gifts and seeing their reactions really fills me with warm feelings. Other must see Christmas movies are White Christmas and The Bishop's Wife, older but wonderful entertaining films. 🥰🎁🎄🌹
A cup of Joe, a cup of mud and a cup of java are all slang for a cup of coffee. The elf that was rockin' was Steven Tyler of the band, Aerosmith. ✌️❤️🌹
I think the animation was done like this on purpose, as better animation processes already existed. I remember not watching it at first because the animation was a throw back, but later accepted it for what it was... more of a storybook illustration animation.
I used to watch this every year with my son, it really got us into the Christmas mood. Thank you Biss, you have done that again for me. PS love your sweater.
Bliss, you are such a wonderful, charming young soul. A gamer to so even better, lol! 😂 Never let life change the best parts of you. This is such a wonderful movie. Not only good actors and a great adventure but also visually beautiful. It reminds people to keep dreaming ! A wonderful reaction. Have a fantastic day, take care! ❤
The Scrooge Puppet scene SCARED the heck outta me when I very young!! 😱😱😱 And ever since every Christmas season when we watch this movie, I always run away from that part! Now that I am in my adult age, I'm not really scared of it anymore. I soon started getting used to it growing up in my mid-to-late-teens.
In the behind the scenes for the mo-cap animation, Tom Hanks did the voice for all the main characters men, maybe including the main young boy as well.
Steven is a reference to director Steven Spielberg who worked with director Robert Zemeckis on Back To the Future. The train is actually equipped with a flux capacitor.
It’s amazing how many roles Tom Hanks plays in this. He’s the boy(known as Hero Boy), the Father, Santa, the Conductor, Scrooge & the hobo. 2:21 I still believe in Santa and I’m in my 40s. I don’t believe in him as a person who brings gifts but as a spirit of giving in everyone. 4:53 they’re all motion capture. 5:36 our train museum has a Polar Express train ride every year and they have a conductor come through and punch our tickets with the letters “Be”. They have dancers come on the train and dance to the hot chocolate song. They read the story as the train goes to the “North Pole” and on the way back Santa goes through all the cars giving everyone a bell. If you get a first class ticket you get a souvenir mug. In the past they used to have someone play the hobo and come through the train cars trying to get kids to trust him and not Santa. It’s always a lot of fun. One year my daughter brought two of her dolls on board and Santa gave her and her dolls each a bell (my daughter has special needs and he noticed it). 12:38 “jump them knuckles” means they have to hop from car to car. The parts that connect the train cars together are called “knuckles” they look like a bent finger. 35:28 that’s Steven Tyler from Aerosmith.
There are 2 Christmas films watched every year at my house: this is one of them for the very reason you say towards the end - 'it fills you with the Christmas spirit' it is the perfect kids adventure, but with a beautiful message for everyone at its heart, & just starts the day off in the right way while opening gifts! The second (if you've not seen it already!) - is 'The Muppets Christmas Carol', watch it if you haven't - puppets aside Michael Caine is just fantastic as Scrooge & it's a surprisingly faithful adaptation!! ❤❤🎄
A great heart warming Biss Christmas movie loved reacting to your movies music vids this year you too have a wonderful Xmas and a happy newyear god bless you and more great reactions in 2025♥♥✨
This was the 2nd best Imax3D film experience. They really should play this movie, every December, in Imax3D. You should watch "A Miracle on 34th Street". Another classic take on "Belief". A timeless great, despite being in black and white.
The Polar Express is the first move made entirely with motion capture, that's why it looks so uncanny. Thus I don't think that making a remake of that movie would make sense, this weirdness is part of its DNA.
Awww Biss has never watched The Polar Express? Adorable, another underrated animated is The Adventures of Tintin, i know being from Romania Tintin was probably huge for children. It's Steve Spielbergs only animated movie he's directed and it's SO good.
На таком поезде однажды прокатился каждый ребёнок. Но потом он вырос и забыл об этом. Спасибо за чудесную сказку, Miss Biss! Любим тебя и Рождество 🎅!❤🌲🎁
I found out about santa when I was like 5 or 6. I ask my mom and she just smiled but finally broke down and confessed. I believe my father was not thrilled about it but I remember my mom saying how hurt she was when she finally found out. Now I know santa is real but all he leaves me is a lump of coal. So I know he is watching
😎👍 I saw this when it first came out on a giant 3D IMAX screen. That scene at 8:43 when the ticket flies off the train and goes on that journey with the wolves, the birds and the waterfall really made the whole audience go "WHOA!" 😵💫 Nobody had ever seen anything that spectacular up until that point. Another really good movie that utilizes this style of motion-capture animation is Steven Spielberg's "The Adventures Of Tintin" (2011). 😉
Hi Biss. This is the only christmas movie that I watch each year. Glad you liked it. Hope you watch it again next christmas. The singing elf that you recognized at the end was Steven Tyler from the rock band Aerosmith. Take care. Have a great holiday
I didn't like this at first watch when I was younger, but funny enough with the message of the movie (you should stay young at heart), I didn't really GET it until I was older and could appreciate the subtle ques and messages of this movie. Now I love it.
Hope you do not get sick. It is too close to Christmas for that! You must live in Southern Germany or something, when I lived in Germany it snowed every year. I was up around Frankfurt. Enjoyed the reaction! Happy Holidays to you as well!
A cup of Joe is slang for coffee. The way it originated is a U.S. navy captain named joe banned all alcohol on a navy ship. So all they drank was coffee and the rest is history.
Choo Chooo Everyone on the Biss Express !! Price of ticket one like and a little comment if you believe !!! Happy Holidayyssss
Just add some Amaretto to your hot chocolate and you've got a perfect Lumumba. Rum will also do the trick.
Yeah!! I love the Biss Express and i have my ticket now.👍👍👍 Happy Hollidays for you Beautiful Biss💓💓
I’m so happy you got to experience this movie. I watch it every Christmas season and I loved it as a kid and I still love it even now.
You have to stop this all, you’re too Cute! ☺️
💓🎅💑🙋👻💜🙋💞💞💞💞💞🍺🍺🍺
"Joe" is slang for coffee. A cup of joe.
Yes it is!!!!😊😊😊😊
It is so easy to imagine a little Biss being super excited about Christmas morning.
Glad you enjoyed it
Chris Van Allsburgh, the author of the childrens book this is based off of also wrote another beloved book turned into a movie: Jumanji.
Also Zathura!
They were raised in Michigan, which is referenced in the movie. There's even a diploma from a Michigan college he attended on the wall and the train is modeled from the Pere Marquette 1225.

Tom Hanks voiced 6 roles on this movie
The magic is always there bliss. People just have to believe
Beautiful soul. Great reaction Biss.
Great reaction! I believed in Santa Claus until I was 12 also. A couple days before Christmas, I saw a gift under the tree for me already labeled "From Santa Claus." I was devastated. 😂
You MUST do It’s Wonderful Life (1946). It’s the best Christmas movie ever made!
Little Ms Bliss if you are planning on watching more Christmas movies I would recommend that you watch A Christmas Story and/or Elf, and if you would like watch an all-time classic you should watch It's A Wonderful Life!!
All great movies!
A Christmas Story is my all time favorite!
It's A Wonderful Life is an absolute classic
A big yes for it's a Wonderful Life!
One more vote for "It's A Wonderful Life".
Besides Hot Coco... Egg Nog, is one of the other top western Classic Christmas drinks.

10:51 this is a Hurdy Gurdy, an awesome old instrument !
If you xant to know more of it, you can search for Patty Gurdy or Fuillaume Desk.

Its as old as me. I grew up with this movie as my go to choice every december
Wow, it’s been a long time since I watched this movie from my childhood. I’ll rewatch it along with your reaction. Thank you for choosing this movie.

Such an iconic Christmas film, I totally enjoyed your reaction to it and reminds me how great the film was back in the day.
27:45 actually there is a game of it, on PS2, PC and Gameboy

YES THE POLAR EXPRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thus I don't think that making a remake of that movie would make sense, this weirdness is part of its DNA.
Recycling was not a thing in the 1950s (time of this movie). That's why he had a hard time remembering the word. Also, "Joe" is slang for coffee.🙂
Awww Biss has never watched The Polar Express? Adorable, another underrated animated is The Adventures of Tintin, i know being from Romania Tintin was probably huge for children. It's Steve Spielbergs only animated movie he's directed and it's SO good.
Great choice for this season Biss👍👍👍loved your reaction as usual💓💓💓 did you recognize the voice of Tom Hanks (Forrest Gump)??
2:11 As we say in my country : you weren't the pinguin that slide the farthest XD

The instrument is a hurdy gurdy!
Happy holidays biss 🎄🎄

10:54 i think this hobo is the spirit of xmas 🙂
The elf singing was steven tyler from Aerosmith.
Other Christmas movies to watch are A Wonderful Life, The Bishops Wife, Disney's A Christmas Carol, A Christmas Story and The Santa Clause.
Thanks for the suggestions

Enjoyed the reaction! Happy Holidays to you as well!
Happy holidays to you, glad you liked this
A good Christmas comedy is Jingle All The Way.
You could watch different versions of a Christmas carol and establish, once and for all, which one is the best.
Might be a good idea
thanks for reaction
Thanks for watching

Gotcha
@BissFlix " : Josephus Daniels, who was Secretary of the Navy, banned U.S. Navy ships from serving alcoholic beverages in the year 1914. "
Happy Holidayys 🎅🎄
Happy holidays!
