Why don’t they talk about the story being completely inspired/ripped from a previous BBC3 documentary Tower Block Dreams? They really imply it was all improv…
These guys smashed it man! They've literally made a niche by not taking themselves too seriously. Other than that the whole concept is genius... each character has its own vibe and funny persona about them! It's a classic! I can see myself watching this over and over again and still think it's funny just like the Office, Peep Show and Only Fools and Horses!

From someone who spent 3-4 years MCing and hosting weekly's in the DNB scene in the late 90s and early 00s this show touched me on another level. It is too accurate! Exactly what it was like back then. Nothing else mattered except hanging with the homies, the music and the raves. Just brilliant stuff from these guys! So funny, yet so accurate.
These guys are absolutely sick. A privilege to have them here in the UK 🇬🇧. Being a garage head and knowing people like this makes me proud as a Londoner!
I'm a DJ/electronic producer/event organizer in the US I couldn't believe it when I stumbled on this show. It's like they remade the Office for me and my friends that throw DIY parties. Every cringe mistake you make when you're a young and learning is in there. So genius
The film was hilarious. I love how they have taken the raw elements of pirate radio from council estates and kept it authentic. Even the little touches like clothing - tns, iceberg etc chabuddy g is genius as-well 👌
I remember the first time I saw the show and it took me about 20 minutes to realize it was a joke. And from then on I loved it. I really enjoy how dry it is.
The humour is relatable and for novices in the industry from both a production and acting perspective they absolutely killed it with their performances and evolution of character. The film was amazing, a true testament to a brilliant series. This will be picked up in decades to come, its subversive enough now to avoid mass detection but I can guarantee this will age well
Easily my favourite show ever, I've rewatched every season at least 3 times and seen the movie twice! The feel good messages at the end of the series and the movie is really special!
Thee best show in ' our era ' hands down. Not enough credit is given and so many people dont about it. Seen k FM 3 times in festivals the baddest amd realest out there. Please 🙏 keep going!
I watch the series over and over again, just reminds me of the 90's i think. I also love how every time i watch i clock new lines every time. Im particularly enjoying 'you got any good lighters at the minute' and 'grinda makes me hard' haha
They genuinely made a perfect film as well. Most sitcoms that end up having a feature end up being shit and prove a small location being expanded into a new world doesn't work. But PJDN did a perfect film in Japan.
Would love to know what the original guys from Tower block dreams are up to now and what they think about people just do nothing and what it has become. It's quite mad to think that this all came from a one of show from way back in the early 2000s.
There is a clip of Killah (MC Grindah) being stopped by a reporter, and asked for comment on which way he was voting in the Brexit referendum. The other one, think he was called MC Decoy? lol, still seems to be mc'ing on DnB.
Love knowing these man made it big! Big up brenny! Ain't been back home in a long time. 1st thing that went wrong was changing the 235 route to North Brentford Quarter instead of by Morrisons.
How does pirate radio translate to someone from Italy out of interest? Is that something there was a similar culture of over there too? I was talking about this with my friend the other day
Just takes me back to my childhood late 80s 90s time flys so fast so if your young and reading this please enjoy your life while you can because time waits for nobody god bless
Only watched a couple when it was actually on TV but now it's done I love it. Seems to be getting a lot more people with people I know now maybe coz the films out
PJDN has the same effect on me as Only Fools and Horses, in the sense that it reminds me of home i.e England. It's about more than the humour or music.
I remember the mid nineties and the first place I heard 'sweet like chocolate' a.k.a 'chocolate boy' shanks n bigfoot and '21 seconds' so solid crew was on a pirate radio station in battersea 'dream fm' if I remember right lol
This show is painfully underrated. I quote it daily and nobody I know has heard of the show, they just look at me like I’m an idiot

I knew it was a winner from the start with Steves collecting those egg boxes.
Right 🤣🤣🤣🤣
When I first watched it I was like ‘wow Grindah is actually decent’… yeah that’s cos he’s ACTUALLY an MC
I do believe what makes this great is that the music is also pure gold
Watched the complete series and movie with the missus, absolutely loved it..10/10, wishing all of the cast all the success and happiness!

"TOWER BLOCK DREAMS" this is the real inspiration for this programme, in fact it is this programme but real life

Total genius.
I'm always spelling things out like my dog who I refer to as:
'The D to the O the to G. He's a garage MC!"
Lol wtf
Let’s be honest- Chabuddy G is the jewel in this series’ crown

This one my favourite shows, I've ever watched. I only discovered it last year and have been watching it all the time, like I'm addicted.
The characters are all so pitifully likeable and the improv humour is incredible x
I saw the first episode when it aired and just like This Country I could see BAFTA written all over it😎 Hilarious Legends 😀👍
I've only literally come across the show last week. Funniest thing I've seen in a long time, I actually started thinking was it real lol
