Your creativity and artistry are a gift, Jeni! I love the white series-the silver contrasting with the white is breathtaking. What a beautiful and sweet video-the time and thought you devote to displaying and arranging is so gratifying for the viewer!! And the platters on the wall-I love it! It really works when you have an open white wall and you want something with little contrast but big impact. Happy Holidays to you, Justin and Brebis. 💜 💞
Thank you so much for appreciated the intention behind the videos, we really appreciate reading this. We've since added 2 more plates to the wall. Did you create yours at one time or gradually?
Always a feast to watch. Now I want to decorate my entire house Jeni style. :) Thank you for the inspiration. Have a wonderful weekend. Bisous from Normandy.
@@Frenchcountryfriends I have always the same color scheme each year. My husband calls me the 'sad sad beige girl. 🙂White, silver and glass. And a pop of red here and there with greens from the garden. Actually bought two antique gilded mirrors this week so I guess gold is now added too. :)
And by the way, that gray lampshade in the background of the white and silver is STUNNING! I think gray and gold is becoming one of my new favorite combinations. Uh-oh! 😆 💜
Silver and white. These colors always feel easy-going and fresh. Looks great with cut or clear glass and greens from outside in your displays. I have been collecting vintage silver and white glass ornaments since I had my own tree when I turned 20. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. ✨️
@@davidjohnston9356yes, I'm understanding now how glass helps add the lightness in a room. Your collection of ornaments must be incredible and come from all over.
Bonsoir encore une fois j’ai pris plaisir à regarder votre vidéo j’ai adorée votre décoration très belle vous avez de très belle choses je vous souhaite de très belles fêtes joyeux Noël 🥰
Brebs the pink jumper is fetching. Love Eucalyptus trees as I’m australian they smell like home. There are so many varieties some are a smaller 2m trees often planted by our councils as street trees. Over seas people only see the huge variety planted to harvest wood… there are many varieties and some with grey droopy soft leaves that I can see you using in your styling.
Yes they smell very different at different times of year…. But nothing is better than just before rain all year and after hot summer rain. I’m always picking a leaf at the park and concertina folding them so many breaks in leaf to release the smell. You can tell when the dogs have been rubbing against leaves like probably when Brebs rubs next to rosemary and the smell lingers on their coat.
eucalyptus trees are wonderful just know they can grow very large and rather unsightly - but keep them trimmed so you can make wreaths and garlands and maybe plant somewhere that is not too much in the main view .... but yes, Jeni you will find great uses for the branches 🙂
There are 800 varieties of Eucalyptus trees. The one you see commonly outside australia in Spain, Portugal and California is essentially a crop of the largest variety grown for the timber. I’ve looked and you can purchase the smaller 2-3m trees in France. I think the grey leaf one she would love is 3-4m after 10 years. The floristry gum trees crops you see grown here, stay around two metres as there fresh leaves are harvested regularly. I never think a Eucalyptus is unsightly.
The ones offered at the garden center where very sparse and grew on one stem. Those didn't apparr to grow overly bushy. Hmmm I still can't convince Justin. Are there any laws in Australia about foraging for wild greenery/flowers?
I truly do not know how you do it week after week? Your videos are always so beautiful and inspiring…..the best. Thank you…..I enjoy them so much. ❤
We are truly flattered although I much prefer bi-monthly posting. Thank you for your continued support on our channel!
Your images transport me to such a calm place; I want to live in your vignettes!
Blushing!

It does help add a pop of "bling." I think glass is becoming a new fav accent. Happy decorating this year!

Beautifully put together..loved the lattice work bowls. I don’t think marshmallows would have made it to the jar in my house 😊

Huge fan of droopy leaves! 🤣 Are the eucalyptus very fragrant along the streets?
