@@callmegamatria796 21:9 just starts to fill your peripheral vision at the edges. That means that the extra space that 32:9 produces is mostly going to be in your peripheral vision. When you turn your character towards the object, so now it's not on the side, but in the center, that object will appear much smaller and further away. Bro, 21:9 is also awesome! It's also better FPS wise, since 32:9 requires even stronger GPU. So if this screen broke, I'll prob buy a 21:9 next time :))
I have Samsung Neo G9. Previously i had ASUS PG34Q which was 21:9. No one thing i can tell - i will never, ever go back to 16:9. No matter what resolution. It looks archaically to me now. Strange thing is i saw difference in sharpness of screen between 32:9 and 21:9 in plus for 32:9 which im using now
is there any problem with the monitor? flicker, dead pixels? gsync works in 240hz mode? because there were problems with these monitors until they called the series because they had problems.
If you watch a dark screen, there is a spot in right corner where light comes out from the screen, but i only noticed it because my friend told me it. But i never see it. 240hz works fine for me with G-sync, but dont enable HDR, or else the screen gets really warm. So for an average gamer, it works fine , but i know it has a few problems, they are fixing weekly with new firmware updates :)
My goal was not to show resolutions but aspects like 16:9/21:9/32:9. No matter what resolution you use, the aspect will still look the same depending on how much extra you can see in the game. But also I wasn’t able to use 5120x1440, OBS told me it was too high resolution for recording, so was forced to go down 👍
He didn't like the Aspect Ratio, he missed having a normal 16:9 Gamer screen, with even higher HZ. So he bought a 24.5 Screen with 360 Hz, and i got this one :P
Hi! If you play a game, say WoW or League of Legends, and you dont wanna use the entire screen. You maybe want your browser, Discord or Spotify visible as well. How does that feel? Does it look strange? If you have the game on the left, do you have to tilt your head? Does it ruin the immersion? Thanks in advance! This looks dope, and Im interested in it. But I only game multiplayer games like CSGO, Valorant, LoL, WoW - and I enjoy having stuff on my other screen as well. Is this wrong monitor for me then?
If I downscale the ratio and resolution 1440p (16:9) from 1440p Ultrawide (21:9). 1440p will it look native or blurred in ultrawide 1440p? I can't find this kind of video test on youtube. Amd 1440p Ultrawide to 1080p Ultrawide and 16:9 1080p. If it's possible so we will have 4 in 1. Like 1: Native ultrawide 1440p (21:9) 2: 1440p (16:9) 3: 1080p Ultrawide (21:9) 4: 1080p (16:9) It will help me buy 1440p Ultrawide. So in the future, if my native 1440p Ultrawide can't handle the game I can downscale the resolution like 1440p (16:9) or 1080p (16:9) that I mentioned until I buy my gaming parts.
Hmmmmmmmm... The MSI was also really good, but maybe a bit more "Serious" I feel the bigger the screen becomes, the more "relaxed" my games become. Like if i was doing esport i would probably play on a 16:9 or 21:9 And 32:9 like this screen is probably only for "MMO" or exploring games. But I'm sure you can still do esport on it, Hope you get what i mean :))
But could you not us a 4K monitor and zoom out to get more landscape both in width and height in the games? I have a 21:9 myself but have been wanting more info top and bottom ingame too..
There are some games that don't go into widescreen mode and instead they crop the tops and bottoms of the images out which is really annoying I wonder how much they would have to crop to get a 4:3 image to be 32:9? That would be really bad.
All the games i play support 32:9, but i have heard about games which doesnt support it sadly. But i think the future is, everyone supports it. Except Competetive shooting. Like Counter Strike and Valorant, they dont want it, since it can help. But Apex supports it.
i was amazed when i got a fullhd 16:9 monitor. it was so big and sharp compared to 4:3 lower resolution monitor, and i am still satisfied with it i don't want larger or sharper. But i want same newer monitor that can do 144 fps and HDR i am curious how game looks above 60 fps i can't test it :(

That widescreen... it makes every game pay to win but not in the way you might think. in League of Legends that's such an advantage compared to the measly 16:9 xD and CorePunk will be in a similar overview. Can see those ganks much more easier to spot
Not anymore pay to win than having a good graphics card (high frame rate, smooth input, better motion perception) or cpu (less frame drops, stutters, etc), or having a higher resolution (sharper image, see far targets easier), high quality gaming mouse/keyboard, speakers/headphones, etc. It's definitely the superior way to experience a game in terms of immersion and to maximize line of sight but that's why it's immersive because it gives you an experience closer to reality where you have peripheral vision, which in turns helps you attune your positional awareness and thus move better and make better decisions about where to move to. The general public play games at fisheyed tiny fovs on their console games because they play on their couch, but pc gamers play their games close to their screens so they can play at a much higher FOV (90-120 vs console's 50-60), what this means is the general public (console/mobile gamers) have no clue what they're missing out on in terms of FOV so they don't appreciate what an ultrawide is doing, and they don't seem to realize that you are only seeing more. They seem to believe you are losing vertical fov and getting a pen slit or squashed image. I don't want it to be some 'gaming advantage' but I did get it because I was driven by the limitations of using a high fov on a 16:9 screen. I hated how things looked warped at high fov so I wanted the same fov but without the warping. I could see just as much as a 21:9 monitor could but compressed to a smaller area resulting in the weird look. I think it should be the standard, (if it was, even console gamers would get more FOV for the first time) but I'm happy if my opponents want to continue to use 16:9 or 4:3 (they'll have higher framerates after all), as long as they continue to make games work in ultrawide and not act as if it's the only pc hardware that gives a player an advantage.
After getting a 21:9 monitor, I could never go back to 16:9. It's like tunnel vision for me now

Some games (especially new ones) are well optimised and they handle 32:9 perfectly and in some it's not that strong, but in many games it can be very annoying, but at least I can change to 16:9 with black bars, although sometimes it's a hassle to get 16:9 working properly.
@@AdioAurel this is normal because with a "distorted" view on the side is more immersive the game
Just if you use a curved monitor
Yep I figured that out meanwhile, but still don't like it, it's just not realistic.
im watching this video with an odessey g9, i like watching videos at 32:9 with this monitor
Just bought a 21:9.... Thanks für making it Look so Pointless D:
Bro, 21:9 is also awesome!
It's also better FPS wise, since 32:9 requires even stronger GPU.
So if this screen broke, I'll prob buy a 21:9 next time :))
@@DvalinGaming i have been enjoying it. But für Most Screen time i Use the 16:9.
Unless i am watching movies. Or playing Games
i can t belive the differance!
It’s huge! 👀
So for an average gamer, it works fine , but i know it has a few problems, they are fixing weekly with new firmware updates :)
whys all this in 1080 and not 1440? also the monitor your showing us can display 5120x1440 but you're only showing us 3880 x 1080?...
My goal was not to show resolutions but aspects like 16:9/21:9/32:9. No matter what resolution you use, the aspect will still look the same depending on how much extra you can see in the game. But also I wasn’t able to use 5120x1440, OBS told me it was too high resolution for recording, so was forced to go down 👍
How did he get bored of it
(sorry if that’s not what you said the audio on my phone isn’t very good)
He didn't like the Aspect Ratio, he missed having a normal 16:9 Gamer screen, with even higher HZ.
So he bought a 24.5 Screen with 360 Hz, and i got this one :P
How does it display 21:9? Do you simply see black bars on the edge of the monitor?
When i play in 21:9, then i switch to windows mode, so it's just a little window in the middle of my screen :)
What in game FOV setting did you have for each aspect ratio for Apex legends?
You went all the way doing this comparison, you could have recorded how it feels like walking in a FPS.
Sorry I was only thinking about mmos 😜
Damn, I wish these monitors were mainstream when WoW was at it's peak. Raiding would've been incredible.
Gonna be honest. WoW is healthier than it’s ever been, right now.
Warmane 3.3.5a
If I downscale the ratio and resolution 1440p (16:9) from 1440p Ultrawide (21:9). 1440p will it look native or blurred in ultrawide 1440p? I can't find this kind of video test on youtube. Amd 1440p Ultrawide to 1080p Ultrawide and 16:9 1080p. If it's possible so we will have 4 in 1. Like
1: Native ultrawide 1440p (21:9)
2: 1440p (16:9)
3: 1080p Ultrawide (21:9)
4: 1080p (16:9)
It will help me buy 1440p Ultrawide. So in the future, if my native 1440p Ultrawide can't handle the game I can downscale the resolution like 1440p (16:9) or 1080p (16:9) that I mentioned until I buy my gaming parts.
It would be fair to show the games where they just stretch the image to fit the screen , even my 21:9 monitor stretched the image on most games
He just gave it to you? Wow
Yeah 😁👌
Your lucky man. How do you like these to MSI one
Hmmmmmmmm... The MSI was also really good, but maybe a bit more "Serious"
I feel the bigger the screen becomes, the more "relaxed" my games become.
Like if i was doing esport i would probably play on a 16:9 or 21:9
And 32:9 like this screen is probably only for "MMO" or exploring games.
But I'm sure you can still do esport on it,
Hope you get what i mean :))
@@DvalinGaming I do. I play RTS Gaming an sim city games. RPG games. So I understand
RTS on this screen is amazing! But not all RTS supports ultrawide....
@@DvalinGaming yea like command an conquer games I’m guessing.
But could you not us a 4K monitor and zoom out to get more landscape both in width and height in the games?
I have a 21:9 myself but have been wanting more info top and bottom ingame too..
not how it works lil bro bro
But need mouch strong pc too , for bigger screen
Yeah the higher resolution, the more GPU requested
is there a noticible performence hit when using a ultrawide because it renders more pixels if yes does it impact fps by alot
Please someone make a 34" 3840x1600
is the XG43VQ a good monitor for gaming?
Today i find out about 21:9 and now 32:9. Now imma search 43:9 lol
I think you should start at small then got bigger
Aaah yeah, like blowing the mind, I see your point.
Note taken ;)
Please make a tutorial on how to stretch a normal video for 32:9 screen.
Hi mate, like, how to edit it to 32;9
Or just stretch a normal video?
Why would you want to do that? It would look awful
i was amazed when i got a fullhd 16:9 monitor. it was so big and sharp compared to 4:3 lower resolution monitor, and i am still satisfied with it i don't want larger or sharper. But i want same newer monitor that can do 144 fps and HDR i am curious how game looks above 60 fps i can't test it :(
On league is insane vision
Can you do more games please?
Which game would you like to see my friend 😁
@@DvalinGaming RDR2 , COD , Halo just some general popular games just to see. If it's not to much to ask for chief I'll donate and support for the content. Also you think you can do stack comparisons please 32:9 top 21:9 bottom or vice versa thank you so much
@@JQURNEY hey bro, thanks for the request, let me see what I can do 😎... I'll do my best! ❤

2560x1080 is the sweet spot 🤩
I play Albion in 2560x1080 :P
Nice music
Thank you!
Damn I just bought the Alienware 34 ultra wide. 😢
That's not a bad thing bro!
I used to play on a 34 Ultra wide, with 21:9 and it was perfect!
I would personally never bought this samsung because of the really high price... But when a friend gift it to you, you dont say no xD
Me watching on the G9 itself, I am like, yea I got it.
Ooh, hello brother!
You know, brother with the same Monitor, he..he..he
@@DvalinGaming Ohhh, that is not creepy at all, brother XD
@@MrAwesomeTony Haha xD
you should also show overwatch, you will see why..
Do you enjoy Overwatch on Ultrawide? or do they have black borders?
@@DvalinGaming i have 21:9 no black bars, its same viewport as 16:9 but no black bars :D its a little better then 16:9 from feeling, but other games are better with 21:9, because overwatch is decreasing FOV of 21:9 players
@@DvalinGaming but on 32:9 it seem to have black borders
That widescreen... it makes every game pay to win but not in the way you might think. in League of Legends that's such an advantage compared to the measly 16:9 xD and CorePunk will be in a similar overview. Can see those ganks much more easier to spot
Yeah it is a bit "pay 2 win" but again, i guess there is a reason why E-sport players still dont use it, i guess
I also want free screens. I'm broke!
LoL, you really made 21:9 look not impressing at all... :P Wish I could afford the one you have instead of my G5... Good vid tho :D
Wth is 3840x1080
Im usinh 3840x1624
3840x1080 is 32:9, which makes the screen super long, but it also requires a very long screen like the one I’m showing in the video
@Dvalin but im using it on my 43inch aurous and 55 inch lg c1 looks amazing but i thought was 21:9
Bored of it?
Haha no way, i love it :D
