All of your wips are great! I really like the crochet shawl, and the Shift is inspiring. I’m a beginner spinner, and now I’m hoping to be able to make one with my handspun one day.
a lovely inspiring podcast! I really like the Driftwood sweater and that gorgeous honeycomb stitch. I think when I made it I had a problem with the measurement of the top of the sleeve being way too small for me unfortunately so had to fudge it a bit, but am thinking of giving it another go when I see how beautiful it looks in the blue tonal. The pig race was fab! Have a good week x
Hello! I love your channel. I’m going to Rhinebeck for the first time and glad to hear you’ll be there too with The Wooly Thistle! I adore them. As a new knitter this year, I ordered my Chia Goo needles from them. I
@@AdventurerKnits That’s so awesome! Please look for me, say hello, and introduce yourself at Rhinebeck-it’s a great show with lots of like-minded people-welcome to knitting!
Hi Ruth Even though I've yet to crochet any garment for myself or do any Tunisian crochet I had to buy the Driftwood jumper. I just love the texture it has The pig racing was so funny. We have big agricultural shows here, my local one is called the Three Counties Show and the Autumn version is this weekend. They have a bit of everything on a permanent site. There's a quilting show there in a couple of weeks and I'm sorely tempted to go but I'm all stashed out. 😊
That’s great Anne-hope you give the Driftwood a try! Once you get going with Tunisian crochet, it’s quite addicting. I haven’t been to a true Agricultural fair in quite some time (I go to all the wool festivals 😉) and I really enjoyed it! I think everyone can get a giggle out of watching pigs race!
❤ that Shift! and the pig race 😂😂
Ed really out-did himself filming the pig races!
You have made some amazing progress on your beautiful projects Ruth. I love the joggers. Thank you Ed for the great footage of the fair👍
Thank-you Carol! It was a fun fair to attend-I have a few more fall events coming up-it’s my favorite time of the year for sure!
How wonderful it is for you to take classes at Harisville, I was there a few years back and got a lot of gorgeous yarns. I live in Ohio
I’m so lucky to have Harrisville so near to me!

Oh, that would be awesome! Making things with hand spun yarn is truly special!
I am going right to the end to watch the pig races first... will be back with you on the fiber content in a moment :P
