Funny story that involves this song- My riding instructor used to let us play a game called musical stalls, its where you'd have to stop on top of a jump (Basically musical chairs but with jumps with no rail thingies) (western gymkhana rider here btw) and I had only been riding for around 3 months and I got moved to group lessons and stuff. Basically my riding instructor told me to lope the course while I was one of the last two racing this really bratty girl who always wins. I take the long way around and she decides to cut me off. I End up doing a barrel roll of my horse to stop myself from landing on the wooden post of the jump. I got up and held my hand up high to show that I wasn't hurt then the song ended. Needless to say, everytime I here this song thats all I can think about lol. (now have been riding for a year and a half)

I personally love horses, ride them and everything... but.. in my opinion bits are the worst things ever. Bits are made for control. Aka pain. You're putting METAL in a freaking horse! That's just wrong. Cool video tho.
I am sitting on the fence because I think bits are fine when used gently and on the right horse. My one horse is a Friesian and is ridden bit less and in a neckrope whereas my pony is ridden in a happy mouth snaffle as he hates pressure on his nose
