This is embarrassing to admit, but does anyone else feel this on such a serious level. I could not have ever guessed that this song would describe my life when I'm weeks away from 25, like word for word, I spent years not really paying attention to what it said and enjoying that he-man video and now Im at a point of accepting my vulnerability as a scared emotional young adult who listens to this song and cries and feels so affirmed

I first heard this song in that viral He-Man video. Then I wondered where the song was from. I found this. And then my heart sank as I heard a wonderful song that I now knew was essentially tarred and feathered by the internet.

It may sound strange, but the let down of your friends was a natural product of that particular circumstance and your relationship with them. You and them are part of it equally, it's not something you've done or haven't done to or for them. You have nothing to regret and they have nothing to blame you for.
It's a different perspective of understanding the existence. Everything of you and around you is you. How people treat you is what you attract, how you treat them is what they attract. And there's no 2015 to make a change, there's no process of change from one state of being to another. Everything just is, and it is always now.

I listened to this casually for a lot of my childhood. Its been easily over a year or 2 since I have heard it. I woke up this morning, pretty sure I am being broken up with, and sang it to myself. So now Im crying just to let it all out.

I turned 25 a month ago and I've loved this song for so long and I never really thought much about the first verse but god now I relate so much...

Me too
Who's here because of that catchy song from Sense8?
I Love this SONG SO MUCH..❤❤❤
I first heard this song in that viral He-Man video. Then I wondered where the song was from. I found this. And then my heart sank as I heard a wonderful song that I now knew was essentially tarred and feathered by the internet.
Ikr they ruined a beautiful song, though i found an attack on titan version of the heman thing, was funnier
so true and sad
And now it's happening to The Sound of Silence.
Same thing happened to me
Same. Idk why but the song gets rid of my anxiety Lel
I'm just gonna say WHATS GOING ON while coronavirus quarantine lol
