- Loch Lubnaig proved a fantastic place for a dook or dip when everywhere else was raging torrents and floods. The Wild West Swimmers showed me their regular spot and Veronica shared her tea with me afterwards - what an angel!

Hats off to you Rachel - that was wild. Take care. Mark
The temerature was a bit cheeky! Such a rush though! Have a great weekend Mark
@@EverydayAthleteRach A bit cheeky - I bet. I will have a good one you to.
Blimey!!!! That is cold brrrrr! What a brilliant idea swimming with local swimming groups.
It's such fun meeting people at their home swim spot! I get to meet some really fun people in special surroundings.
Looks lovely :)
It was a peach of a swim and the group made me feel so welcome. I can't wait to go back and see it in clearer weather so I can take in the beautiful backdrop.
Beautiful
Been binge watching your channel to get as much info as I can. Found a group near me the west Lothian dippers and they are really supportive. Stirling is not far from me so when we are allowed to drive to the next county I will definitely be going to that Loch X heading to your Amazon page now to get some kit. Just trying to figure out of it's best to swim now for the first time or wait till March as it starts to warm up
Hi Alice, the water is at its coldest in Feb/March, so there won't be a great deal of difference. Whenever you go in it will feel extremely cold. Just don't go in for more than a couple of minutes the first few times. Let me know how you get on 🏊😃
@@EverydayAthleteRach thanks for the advice
I've became a wild west swimmer/lubnaig loonie this loch is magnificent very cold right now though I done a night swim a few weeks ago and it was freeeezing but worth it totally clear starry and moonlit sky and calm waters what more can u ask for!!
Loch Lubnaig is beautiful, it would be amazing in the dark, I’m sure 🏊♀️🌔⭐️✨😀
@@EverydayAthleteRach it really was xx
Looks a tad bit cold 😁 Nice to see you lot having a nice time! Mari
Hey Mari, it was a tad chilly 🥶 but we had fun anyway. Are you still in Scotland? Hope you’re keeping warm!
Epic!!!
Loved it! Pretty nippy though 😆
Thank you so much for sharing this! I wish I could swim with you one day !
Thanks for watching Elodie. What area do you usually swim in? 😜🏊♀️
I live in Canada and I usually swim in Lake Ontario (dip at this time of the year 😉)
I bet that is just dipping at this time of year. Similar here to be honest just now. Can't wait to be able to do some longer time in the water, I like to use outdoor swimming for fitness too.
Just gorgeous as always. That is some really cold water. How long did you stay in?
It was a tad chilly. We were in for about 13 mins
