I really want Dragon Valley, but I don't know about the Renaissance Fair... It seems a little over-priced for what you get; a rare dragon type you wouldn't normally use, a guitar reskin, an alternate method of training your athletic skill and a lot that doesn't really seem to serve much purpose.
I ended up getting the Renaissance Fair shortly after writing the above comment and since then I've used the venue about 3 times.
The man skirt is SCOTTISH AND IT'S A KILT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MEN WHO WORE KILTS WERE CELTIC WARRIORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry but that was an epic fail, and I'm only 10! I'm on my Dad's profile.

The black bus you saw, is not the school bus in the town. The school bus is the regular yellow one. The black bus, is a tour bus, i think those that have a high rank in the music career get one. :)

@simmerhaze The Symbol is a celtic symbol called 'Triquetra' it's related to spirits, nature, being-ness, of the cosmos. Etc. Not witchcraft.
The kilt is from Scotland, not from Ireland
The bus you saw is a Tour Bus and you get it when you reach level 5 or 6 of the Music Career Track.

That triforce like symbol in the ground is the Holy Trinity. Each point represents the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; or spectacles, testicles wallet and watch; which ever you prefer.
Sorry, but no. That represents the Triple Goddess. That knotwork was created by the Celts, who shared the Pagan belief system. The knotwork was created hundreds of years BEFORE christianity was even thought of, and it represents the three points of the Goddess, her crone phase, young woman phase, and middle aged phase. Anyway, if you want to know more, google "Pagan Triple Goddess Celtic Knotwork".

They are all over-priced. With all the expansion packs at 50% off, now only $19.99, the Store worlds are a huge rip-off. And the Make Me An Offer deals don't give you much of a discount. Plus, the Free SimPoint thingy is broken. So, you have to spend your own money on this stuff.

I think that bus is the one you get after you reach a certain level in Rockstar branch for music. It would be a cool school bus too though.

Chubby Bunny I know, I was seeing red! To be fair they supposedly do have kilts and stuff in Ireland but it's more our thing!
Megan Blake and Chubby Bunny I'm sorry, but I just have to intersect here! I know kilts are Scottish but Celtic Knotwork is Irish! It was symbolic to the Celts who lived in Ireland as the representation of a never ending line, which is the way Celts, and Pagans who also created Celtic Knotwork, view life and death, a circle that never ends. Celtic knotwork was also used in weddings, funerals, blessing a newborn baby, etc. However, having said that, it was adopted by the Scottish and Welsh. So yeah... Also, have to agree that the "some rocks" thing, was a little annoying. I mean, I love LifeSimmer, but sometimes... But yeah. Just had to put that in there.
Simmer Mist I retract my statement from ages ago! I think it was supposed to be a represtation of the Celtic culture as whole. It would have been okay if she said Celts or Celtic but I took objection to the fact she excluded Scotland! (Also Wales)
Yeah, that's true, I hope it didn't seem like I was excluding Scotland as well. I love Scotland, my Grandparents live there and I love the Scottish accent! It is kind of annoying the controversy this brings up! I know several people who consider themselves Scottish, even though the don't live there and have no family history there, who completely ignore the fact Celtic is also Irish. So it can go either way! But it is annoying!
