I only saw one video of Parker before, his tour..but yeah he looks like such a tool. Especially if he has money. Sad sack probably for laughed out of high school lol
So, I wake up this morning, check UA-cam to see what Matt is up to, thinking there'd be another video of the S2000. What do I see? Matt riding with Jay Leno! Hopefully, it doesn't sound weird to say that I am so happy for you! What unusual and wonderful twists and turns your life has taken since starting this channel. It has truly been a blessing to you, your family...and those of us who've subscribed. Thank you!
I love how humble you are, you were there to genuinely listen, learn and enjoy not to impress the internet. It's so refreshing not having someone plug something every 3 seconds or seem desperate for views. Keep it up man
Thanks for saying that Devon. I think selling stuff happens naturally without having to ask for it over and over again. "Please subscribe, click the like button, link after link to my store." All of that can happen organically when it's appropriate. I just think some see what other people are doing and feel the need to compete and at times copy. Vlogging, EDM intros and background music, and just trying too hard is what turns me off. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm going to do it my way rather than "the" way that most feel the need to follow.
+Matt/Obsessed Good onya mate! Your presentation was really natural, good to see you were the one that got to have that experience in such a unique vehicle. I'm especially pleased since you recorded it for all us "less fortunate" buggas in a way that we all could get a sense of the adventure of such an opportunity. I doubt I shall ever get to ride in a 111 year old steam car, but at least I have seen the next best thing to it. If I watched Jay take it out by himself I'd have admired the historic tech and great old car but your sense of awe helped me to feel the experience emotionally. We probably all only have that "first experience" awe in us only once and I'm glad you were able to pass your's on to us.
I just watched Parker's video of the garage and I find it interesting that your coverage, and quality blows his away, especially considering he's a "professional" youtuber. He missed more than half of the stuff you did and I'm glad you covered the shop. Absolutely unreal the equipment he has in there. Awesome job Matt, really glad you got to have that experience.
Obsessed Garage , I would have been curious which was Jay’s first professional toolbox. I believe he was a mechanic at a New England Rolls-Royce dealership before he became a comedian. I’m happy you got this experience. Thanks for sharing it with us!
To whoever said Parker is a "tool"....that's why everyone laughs at the term "Professional UA-camr, Professional Instagrammer, TikToker" etc lol. Get a life, skills, an education, and a real job people 🤔 True, some of them make money, but if this was 20 years ago, before social Media, they'd be down working at the local Walmart or Jack N the Box. Truth 😉
OMG, I spend too much time on the Internet - I immediately spotted Rick Péwé at 04:00 ;-) And the steam car ride was just a treat, I had a big smile on my face. What a once-in-a-lifetime day... :-)
WOW ! I have been watching Jay Leno's Garage for years, but I really liked the fact that you were able to be there on a personal tour I could not stop smiling at so many cool cars and what have you.. The old Fire Engines were the best. And the shots of the work shop. Great video !!!
Obsessed Garage ohhhhh man that was freaking cool, could you please choose me and my s2000 for your detailing video? it's in need for some loving, I'll even be ok with paying for it. thanks and congrats on the video.
Just going back over older videos and noticed this one. Matt, I really appreciate your honest nature and humility beginning at 27:47; best part of the video IMO. Keep doing you, it is refreshingly original.
what an incredible experience that must have been for you, I'm so glad you didn't turn that ride down. Your initial reservations quickly turned to enthusiasm and excitement as you introduce the clip and your summary of it afterwards show just how much you enjoyed and valued that experience
What I think is cool about Leno is the wide range of cars, motorcycles, etc that he's interested in. That's awesome! I'm glad you were able to see his collection and hang out!
Fantastic video Matt. Im kinda surprised there weren't more people. Probably a limit. Would be pretty cool to see Jay Leno's bazillion cars. But getting to ride along with him like that has to be once in a lifetime opportunity.
Fantastic tour of the best auto & motorcycle restoration garage in the USA..!! That is the chef tour... Jay loves his Stanley Steamer..!! Great day for you
Jay just seems like a real genuine guy. Seems like you had a blast & an unforgettable experience that nobody else got! I volunteer my car haha! Black Focus ST is perfect to show how the products work. It's yours for as long as you need it.
This takes cool to a new level. Jay seems like such a great guy. Great little talk at the end there too, Matt. The video just goes to show how important it is to take a chance and to put yourself out there. You never know what opportunities might come your way. Really enjoyed the video, as always!
Hey Matt, I simply must say you just doing you makes this video sum up what you and your all about. Nothing pretentious even next to Jay Leno who is an amazing passionate petrol head with all his car/motor cycle and classic car collection. What a great question about the swirls which was on point. This is one for history books.
Matt you deserve everything that's happening during your life's journey...its awesome to see good come to good people and welcome to LA weather my Friend! 👍😊
You're quite welcome Matt...sayyyyyyy...you wouldn't happen to have my pressure washer in your bag and you actually used Jay as an excuse to surprise me!?...would ya?!!!😉
Matt, what a cool experience! 30 minutes of smiling while I watched this one. Your videos and story have not only helped build my detailing knowledge, but also my self-confidence. Keep doing your thing man. #teamog
I gotta say; i grew up in the Mid 1980's and watching the Tonight Show with my Father, and that was the Greatest thing in the world for a Father and Son to do together... Every weekday night me and him would stay up to 11pm and sit at the living room, and Laugh and Laugh. My Father Loved Johnny Carson of course, and he Really had a big crush on Joan Rivers ( Mother didn't like that).. But I personally enjoyed most , Jay Leno's time at the show ... I Just say that because, he seems such a friendly/ really nice guy. He seems to fit in with us blue-collar types.. LOL. I know hes a Billionaire , But he never Boasts.... IDK, But I love to meet Him someday. And would Love to see that Garage of his !!! Thanks for posting this Video, i enjoyed it alot ..
Congrats that had to be a experience of a life time. Get to see amazing cars and see one amazing garage. At the same time it shows how down to ear Jay Leno and his team are and how passionate they are about car and the maintaining of cars.
Jay Leno seems like a real genuine human being who doesn't B.S. and hasn't a bad bone in his body. I wish I was there with ya. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and didn't skip it.
What's great is you spent zero fuel having THAT much fun. Didn't require batteries or a power plant or gasoline--nothing. Just some water and passion. Congrats, Matt. What a day. I'm happy for you!
Cristian Olmos there's no free energy, they have to burn something, it's usually wood or I think some people have converted them to burn some type of gas to heat the water. Still very cool though.
+Cristian Olmos - Zero fuel? How do you think the water turns to steam? Magic? Nope. That cylindrical tank behind the seats is filled with gasoline for the burner/boiler.
No car uses no fuel. Electric cars need electricity from somewhere, usually coal, nuclear, or hydro powered. Wind and solar make up some of it too. Its naive to think there are zero emissions cars, everything requires emissions, just look into the process involved to make the lithium ion batteries involved in electric cars...
What a great day you had. I would have had no regard for my safety to go on that ride of a lifetime. Just remember, make sure you get thrown clear. Maybe an ejection seat with a parachute could save you, even more fun and the headlines.
I use be a Tanker Driver in Los Angeles/Orange County area's and would see him almost 1 time a month sometimes more with a different car each time. Known place I would see him in Topanga Canyon & Ventura Blvd. He would be at the light and yell at me make sure it's the good stuff with a big smile..
So happy for you brother! What an amazing experience. And the best part - you have a great video documenting the day. Congrats on the continued success and helping us all get dialed in. You deserve it!
@obsessed garage it's so awesome to see how far you have come. I've been following since the beginning and love seeing your progress. BTW I have a 2016 mustang GT that you could use to try Jays product on :) keep up the GREAT work! I live in Florida not to far from the Villages.
I'm from Burbank I have seen Jays place in the 1990s it's grate that you've seen jays place its overwhelming butt a amazing place to see in person I don't live their anymore I'm in Northern Cali now Butt I miss Cruzin the streets and seeing Jay at least 1 time a week or more going to and from NBC studios
Amazing video matt! Your face during the ride was the ultimate expression of appreciation and fun. Love the channel - Keep it up! Greetings from Germany!
I wish I had what the tires were worth to play with some other stuff! I bet I could have a lot! Also its a shame Jay doesn't have any kids to inherit this awesome collection. - I guess it will become a museum when he gets older. Oh and I liked the John Deere!!!!
How cool was it not only to have Jay spend his time showing and explaining his collection but also giving you a ride in a steam powered vehicle!! Shows you the man is very generous with both his time nd his collection. I wonder if he’s going to create a foundation so after he’s gone the collection will still be able to be seen by the public. It would be a fine tribute to the man who built it.
Observed, did he speak of the operation of the car/ the coach builder? Is it run similar to the steam train? Being from the same state, most people from Massachusetts are friendly enough if their not rushing around to much!
Okay so it took me over 8 months to watch this but worth the wait. That was so cool, always when you least expect it - wonderful things happen Matt. Your humbleness is humbling if that makes sense. Currently working my way through your library in case you hadn't guessed lol. Keep being you my friend, enjoying your videos way more than most others here on UA-cam :D Chris
Jay Leno is doing a ghreat job preserving all these interesting cars. That Stanley Steamer is really amazing, goes very well. Jay is very good driving it. The steam whistle is funny.....
Great video Matt - what an awesome experience to cruise along with Mr Leno! - The best part was seeing your enthusiasm and genuine thankfulness once you managed to debrief in the hotel room. I know you are somewhat introverted, so it's cool to see you push your comfort zone and be rewarded for doing so. Keep it up as always. Cheers Keegan
cool video, man. Nice "everyman" perspective. I've met Jay a few times at various events. Down to earth and true gearhead. (not so fun) fact of me: I'm not proud of the time Jay offered me a ride in one of his other steam cars and I didn't take it because... I had to get back to work. By the time I realized how stupid my decision was he was driving away. My coworkers still won't let me live that down. (I'm sure I'll see him again. I hope.)
the only tool in that garage is Parker.
Abroham Lincoln fucking destroyed my god
I only saw one video of Parker before, his tour..but yeah he looks like such a tool. Especially if he has money. Sad sack probably for laughed out of high school lol

Devon Regan 100% agree Devon. Unbelievably refreshing.
"Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm going to do it my way rather than "the" way that most feel the need to follow."
Thanks so much, Matt. Keep it up!
+Matt/Obsessed Good onya mate! Your presentation was really natural, good to see you were the one that got to have that experience in such a unique vehicle.

Agreed, well put.

He missed more than half of the stuff you did and I'm glad you covered the shop. Absolutely unreal the equipment he has in there. Awesome job Matt, really glad you got to have that experience.
I almost want to veer off from the group and start opening drawers to see what's in them.
Obsessed Garage , I would have been curious which was Jay’s first professional toolbox. I believe he was a mechanic at a New England Rolls-Royce dealership before he became a comedian.
I’m happy you got this experience. Thanks for sharing it with us!
You have to remember that Parker has a very different audience that is not interested in watching extremely in depth videos.
To whoever said Parker is a "tool"....that's why everyone laughs at the term "Professional UA-camr, Professional Instagrammer, TikToker" etc lol. Get a life, skills, an education, and a real job people 🤔
True, some of them make money, but if this was 20 years ago, before social Media, they'd be down working at the local Walmart or Jack N the Box. Truth 😉
Next to Jay Leno's garage this is my favorite channel Matt thanks for all your hard work and being the nut that you are!
Thanks Sam!
Matt, you have my envy. What a wonderful experience that day must have been. I caught you smiling several times....you were having a ball.
Cheers,
Dan
"Seatbelt's? You want to be thrown Clear"! , You are one lucky guy Matt! I cannot wait until you hit your 100,000!!
Oh god. I hear Parker. I'm sorry you had to deal with that fraud.
dont cast the first stone least you--------
hopefully matt didn't get brainwashed by him
Have you seen the one where he puts a straight pipe exhaust on his Merc? Cringe!
Wasnt straight pipe, he just removed the exhaust.
HarvVAG How's he a fraud? Please explain I'm out of the loop.
OMG, I spend too much time on the Internet - I immediately spotted Rick Péwé at 04:00 ;-)

WOW ! I have been watching Jay Leno's Garage for years, but I really liked the fact that you
were able to be there on a personal tour
I could not stop smiling at so many cool cars and what have you..
The old Fire Engines were the best.
And the shots of the work shop.
Great video !!!
Jay is a humble down to earth guy. Some of these UA-camrs should take a page from his book and not walk around like they are God's gift to this earth!
Take notes Parker !
On a serious note. I am so stoked you got to ride with him in that steam car. That's incredible. You deserve it!
Nice meeting and talking with you at his garage! See you around.
Yeah man! Keep in touch.
Two of my favorite youtubers!
Obsessed Garage ohhhhh man that was freaking cool, could you please choose me and my s2000 for your detailing video? it's in need for some loving, I'll even be ok with paying for it. thanks and congrats on the video.
Why does Andy Milonakits have so many nice cars???
i guess I am kinda off topic but do anybody know a good site to watch new movies online?
Great. Video! I'd never watched your show. I like your style.very much. I will certainly watch again
. ✌🏽
Just going back over older videos and noticed this one. Matt, I really appreciate your honest nature and humility beginning at 27:47; best part of the video IMO. Keep doing you, it is refreshingly original.
Thanks for watching man.
Good things happen to good people. so cool that you got to have that experience.
For some reason the part in the 1906 steam car gave me chills. That's seriously so legit. It seemed faster than the civic you were behind!
Being organic is what got you there. So much respect Matt. Excellent video and look forward to your review of Jay's detailing kit.
what an incredible experience that must have been for you, I'm so glad you didn't turn that ride down. Your initial reservations quickly turned to enthusiasm and excitement as you introduce the clip and your summary of it afterwards show just how much you enjoyed and valued that experience
Love how jay is such a normal person. Just a buddy to talk to about his vehicles.
What I think is cool about Leno is the wide range of cars, motorcycles, etc that he's interested in. That's awesome! I'm glad you were able to see his collection and hang out!

Cool to see Matt So Happy and Smiling!
Hey Matt, I simply must say you just doing you makes this video sum up what you and your all about. Awesome video. :) Every Sunday I wait for Jay Leno's Garage video to upload.

Matt, that was so cool. Makes for an awesome trip! Amazing how many cars are in there. The ride in the Stanley looks like so much fun.

Next task... get adopted by Jay. 😁

Matt, I don't think I've seen you smile and laugh that much and in that way before. A nice variation.
Wow that was fantastic, Jay is such a great guy and you genuinely had a blast. Great day for you Matt thanks for sharing.
Jay Leno seems like a real genuine human being who doesn't B.S. and hasn't a bad bone in his body. I wish I was there with ya. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and didn't skip it.
Classic Video. Well done. The ride along was great! I was laughing and smiling with you the whole time haha. Cracked me up.
Awesome man. You will remember that day for the rest of your life. Thanks for sharing with us!
Dude, you smiled! You giggled even!!
Watched a few of your videos and that seems to be a first.
Seems like this was a good day.
It's rare, but not a first.
Wow!!! Good for you man! That ride looked awesome : )
Thanks.
Incredible! So happy for you Matt!
Thanks for sharing Matt, it must have been an awesome experience.
Amazing experience Matt ! ! Thanks for sharing with us .. I will watch this few more times
That was awesome! Must have felt surreal to meet him in person after watching him on tv for so many years. Super cool.
Congrats Matty, hopefully as fun as it looked.
What's great is you spent zero fuel having THAT much fun. Didn't require batteries or a power plant or gasoline--nothing. Just some water and passion.

Once in a lifetime man, that was gold Matt....
So cool to see in my my town. Your right by my friends fab shop too. Keep on keeping on matt
So RAD!!! Keep it rolling!! Live-Life-Loud!!!
What a great day you had. I would have had no regard for my safety to go on that ride of a lifetime. Just remember, make sure you get thrown clear. Maybe an ejection seat with a parachute could save you, even more fun and the headlines.
It's amazing that car made in 1906 can keep up with 2017 traffic. It's not slow at all.
Love it!!! What an experience indeed!!!
Matt, man, this is AMAZING! Thanks for sharing. I bet this experience was unforgettable. Cheers man, definitely deserve it.
Thank you so much for sharing! It was great to see you guys riding around in that steam car, just enjoying life!
What a great experience to see the whole garage, then to top it off get to ride in the steam car....how cool was that...best, Kent,Texasroper

Wow!!! That was awesome, Jay Leno is so cool, Thanks for the upload 👍👊
The ride along in the steam car gave me chills. Random time to comment and see this, but WOW. Simply amazing.
It was surreal.
9:05 Of course Rick goes to jeep 😂
I was about to write this same exact comment.
MiniMorris97
I
Rick is the underrated OG. One day I wish to be on UA.
that is so cool! glad you went
Great video. Incredible garage. Thanks for sharing the experience.
@obsessed garage it's so awesome to see how far you have come. I've been following since the beginning and love seeing your progress. BTW I have a 2016 mustang GT that you could use to try Jays product on :) keep up the GREAT work! I live in Florida not to far from the Villages.
Dude- that was the bomb! Excited for you.
Wow what an experience! So cool!
Great job Matt, you're one fortunate dude!
So jealous Matt! What a blast. Glad you're liking our So Cal weather too. Hard to beat. Cheers.
Hahah what a badass experience. Jay seems like a genuine guy. Way to be humble I applaud you! Keep it up.
I'm from Burbank I have seen Jays place in the 1990s it's grate that you've seen jays place its overwhelming butt a amazing place to see in person I don't live their anymore I'm in Northern Cali now
Butt I miss Cruzin the streets and seeing Jay at least 1 time a week or more going to and from NBC studios
Amazing video matt!
Your face during the ride was the ultimate expression of appreciation and fun.
Love the channel - Keep it up!
Greetings from Germany!
Part of it was also fear. Ha, ha...
Amazing that Jay seems to know a lot about all the cars, bikes, trucks in his garage
Matt keep up the awesome content and don't worry about being unfiltered, we need more of that lol.
Amazing man, thoroughly enjoyed sharing your experience. Stay humble, it will keep paying off. I'm sure it's why Jay didn't hesitate to pick you up.
He really is world class. He actually turned the car around earlier to get a few bottles of water for some guys working on the sidewalk out front.
Observed, did he speak of the operation of the car/ the coach builder? Is it run similar to the steam train? Being from the same state, most people from Massachusetts are friendly enough if their not rushing around to much!
What a surreal experience. Incredible.
Very cool! Thanks for sharing.
Jay Leno is a true car guy I love it.

Thanks for watching man. This whole thing is a bit surreal to me.
I really like his quick detailer! nice clean shine.
Wow, that was an amazing experience! Great video!
Matt - pretty cool day at the Leno Garage! Nice job!!
Wow, That is amazing Matt, Jay Leno is a legend, what a great experience.
