Funny thing was, it was a surprise event that they announced only like 30 minutes in advance lol.
They actually are not $2000 for mainstream artists, those prices are from resellers, even for Taylor, pit tickets don’t usually go past $300 unless you’re going vip

If any artist tried to go against them, they could retaliate by blocking them from performing in any of their venues, and they own 99% of large venues in the U.S., so they would be blocking them from touring entirely in the U.S.
Just looked it up and pit seats are $60 in my state. The concert is just over 2 weeks away though and there's still tickets in every section so maybe they'll drop.
