Had no idea he dropped 41 in his preseason home debut. That's so impressive. He was ready to rock. This also doesn't look like normal preseason defense. They are really going at him for pride sake. People are guarding their hero out there.
I was expecting/hoping for the scoring title after this. I was disappointed to be honest. But that's just because we actually have high standards for the GOAT because he spoiled us. Still love to watch the Wizards highlights. I just whish he had not broken his ribs and his teammate would have been less clumsy and not bump into his knee. Ah, and the refs (and J O'Neal) would not have f'ed up the All Star game. Still can't believe that to this day.
Here MJ is faster and lighter than in the rest of the season. He was injured (knee) for the most part of the two years of his second return. Without these injuries, the history will be very different.
Yeah after a bit of a slow start to the season Jordan had the Wizards rolling and they were climbing in the standings and I think were 4th in the East and then he accidentally ran into one of his own teammates and their knees banged. That’s what caused the injury. He tried to come back that season but his knee never recovered and in the 2nd season with the Wizards he played all 82 games but he was never the same after that knee injury. If he hadn’t injured his knee the Wizards would of definitely made the playoffs and they could of made a serious run because of how weak the Eastern Conference was. The Nets ended up winning the East that year and they got swept by the Lakers. The Wizards would of had a somewhat descent chance to actually make the Eastern Finals or even the Finals. No way they would of been able to beat the Lakers but Jordan would of definitely made that post season a lot more memorable.
8 weeks behind cuz of broken ribs, 20 pounds to heavy! Not bad fresh but when you come back your not a coach or influencer you have to be a player. Jordans not a small forward!!!!! He comes back he has to make weight 198 pounds, pass strength test, and past cardio vascular test, he plays shooting gaurd and averages 38 to 40 mins a game! In this case playing for wizards you don't get much rest so it's 40 plus minutes! He stays away from surgeries and stays away from steroids and they would have made the playoffs and Jordan got MVP regular season
epic performance at age 38, MJ is simply the GOAT
dang after 3 years of smoking cigars and playing golf he comes back and does this... 🐐🐐

He seems to be a few pounds thinner and moves more easily than in the season.
