Sorry this video's a bit late, it's been a pretty exhausting week u_u Plus, I had to do a lot of research for this video bc like I said, meta's not my jam and I just brute force my way through the game. I use Kokomi as my main dps in Genshin, which should tell you all you need to know about how I play games in general.

If its possible, could you do a video on exams? I've been trying to level up my cards and give them the most advantages, but I feel like I'm not doing well since the highest I've gotten is rank D on both current exams.

This was great! I never paid attention to the meta because I started playing in the jp server and I don't know japanese, but this makes it easier to understand

Great video! Definitely agree with you on having a balanced team over meta, as someone who only has a couple sr, I rely on R cards a lot and my one SSR card in battles while I hoard gems until the cards I want come out.

My own teams until now in jp have been "grab all my SSRs and the SRs i like and yeet 'em into the same team" style of brute force, and thus this is a lot more helpful in regards to focusing on not that level of brute force,,! (you can imagine how long it took me to beat the 5th main story's boss with that style of brute force LK;JDG;LKEWJG) I really gotta start looking at the duo magic bc my dumb of ass self didn't pay too much attention to it (and instead put all of my focus in the buddy bonus,, gotta love my jamil-deuce-kalim trio goin' on in regards to buddy bonus)
okay but "grab all my fave ssrs and srs and put them on a team" is legit the only team building i actually do aksdjhfgkjhd. Ngl if Buddy Bonuses or Duo Magic happen for me it's a happy accident lakjsfhaslkdj

Thanks a lot for this video... It made me feel better cuz I thought I'm doing it all wrong by not following the meta.
If I could when the game was first released internationally, I would have rerolled until I got an SSR Idia or Ortho. At the time though, I looked up the card list for SSR's and there weren't ones for either of them TT^TT so, I took Riddle as my third fave at the time that was available SSR's in the beginning. Since then, I've gotten SSR wedding Idia and SSR birthday Ortho ^v^

I got a question, and I look everywhere but couldn't find any answer for it before coming to you and asking you. The question is: how can we get more background for the home screen? I know there a shop to buy more, but how can we get the stuff to buy it?
So the backgrounds shop section uses the Awakening Perfume (R) as the currency. You get these if you pull an R card in the gacha that's been completely uncapped. So like, if I have an uncapped R PE Sebek but he REALLY loves coming home to me and I pull him a lot, with each extra copy of him I pull, the game gives me an Awakening Perfume (R). You can only get these perfumes from the gacha so it might be a little while until you have enough saved up to buy more backgrounds, esp if you're holding onto gems for a future limited banner.

I don't actually mind repeating myself answering stuff like that's a nonissue. /gen But I figure there's a lot of little things new players might have questions about that wouldn't fit in a whole themed guide outside of just "anything goes B)"

@@lastationproductions oh i've done a lot, actually. i stream twst and i'm still in process of getting them all edited and subtitled. I have a couple done but I have a huge backlog to go through
