I didn't expect this to get as much traction as it has so far! Thank you! I only read a handful of comments because reading too many gets me overthinking. Everyone is allowed to agree or disagree but do so respectfully! Also I haven't seen anything bad but I will say again, DO NOT HARASS KIKOWAH or anyone in that matter. Again, thank you.
@@Lo0kAtmYS0ckz But like if she isn’t using AI then she should have no problem with sharing the speedpaints of her art. Also, the whitewashing of certain characters is a whole other thing. You claim that you’ll accurately draw a poc but then immediately contradict yourself? Where’s Jazmines ethnic nose? It doesn’t make sense
its either she was hacked, or its a similar situation to that League of Legends artist who turned to AI for their artwork. Its such a same that people throw away their hard work and give in...
Her getting hacked would explain the big one year gap between her last real drawing and her first use of ai. Maybe she gave away her account because she didn't want it anymore. Especially since her old post was not getting any views at all.
It feels like their account got hacked and someone else is taking advantage of it (Kinda like the accounts that suddenly turn about cars, politics and s3x bots)
Yeah most times I can immediately tell it’s AI art if it’s A) too bright, all the highlights are bright and fluffy/glowy looking B) there’s way too much detail- I know people have the ability to add massive amounts of detail, but when the face has almost no intricate details but the clothes look hyper-realistic, it’s a sign it’s AI. C) doesn’t work much anymore because AI is becoming more advanced, but just look at the fingers. There are a lot more signs obviously but those are just quick ways to tell, atleast they work for me lol.
Also, check the little details because often that’s a dead giveaway! Whether it be a wobbly pupil (that shouldn’t be wobbly), weird inconsistencies in the teeth and just any other intricate thing!
an overlooked way to tell is zooming in on the image real good to see how its coloured typically ai images have a ton of colours in one spot or the linework has a weird outline
@@Cerealouslythis is right. Look at the line/color work - with an actual peice, there's a method, even to madness, but in AI, a hairstrand can suddenly morph in a choker, and details on clothes will fadeaway like they were partially erased
20:39 for me, that's undeniable proof- as an artist AND guitarist/ukulele player, i have no idea what that instrument is. it has five tuning pegs... on one side? but clearly it's not a guitar, and not a ukulele, and it's so deformed, everything past the nut is ludicrous. it's insane.
I was gonna argue about how people don’t know what instruments really look like, and then I clicked the timestamp. No you’re right. That’s atrocious. That’s not something someone would make with or without references.
It's funny because my thought was i'd totally draw an instrument like that for the sketch and then decide in rendering if i wanted to go all in on the cartoony look or put in the effort to make it make sense. Ai has the lack of intention beginner artists have but the rendering of those who would know better.
As a digital artist, who is still trying to get better with shading, coloring and anatomy, it sucks that people think that making AI art and posting it without the knowledge that art takes time, like a lot :( Also ur channel is so underrated like what??? U got a new sub, keep it up :3 Edit: holy shmoly 200 likes???!
I think the same, but a bit differently. Im a digital hobbyist but I think these people maybe tried, expected too much, got frustrated, quit, and then turned to AI because "I don't HAVE to draw, but woah look I'm telling this machine what to make so its MY idea and I'm an ARTIST", strangely common mentality
@@amanitaaldaine they don’t see that professional and hobbyist alike gets tired, depressed, cry over their drawings. As someone who does that, I rather be authentic it what I put out than let a AI do the fun for me, because I love art. People only care about producing art like a factory line. It’s not even art at that point. If you don’t understand art, you’re not an artist.
As an artist so many of these posts are very obviously ai images just with major errors corrected in a drawing app :( its clearly an art style trained off ai, little errors like the eyes, line weight, things melting together etc. Surprised no one else in the comments said anything. Its such a shame bc they seem like a great artist
I 100% get your point, but as an artist, I know sometimes that I do stupid shit with my art, like not 100% accurate light bloob on nose or wrinkles on clothes that don't make 100% sence, however, indeed her "art" look like Ai generated piece with touchup on it
Yeah some of the stuff she pointed out are things I've definitely done, especially some of the coloring mistakes. But there are plenty of things I think go beyond human mistakes
Yeah what’s wrong doing AI as the base and the rest all hand drawn?! Some of us have busy lives so AI helps fill in the gap & time efficiency. This is the future. Life sucks, oh well. There are much worse things going on.
@@shesomadeline i'm going to ask genuinely because im curious, why do you want to skip most of the drawing process for "efficiency"? I guess I'm asking why you're drawing at all if you seemingly don't want to draw?
The difference in artistic skill is also vastly different in her pieces. You can tell when she went in harder to try and fix stuff or when she left it mostly "untouched" (Basically jsut left it to the AI) ... How people can't see stuff like that immediately i'll never understand hhhh
The point of 'but real artists also make these sort of mistakes' is very valid, but as someone that's been drawing for years and been friends with multiple artists over years, it is VERY obvious what's a human mistake and what's AI slop. I suppose there's no real way to explain it without having that experience and memory bank, but a good way to spot these is ask yourself: ->**"Would an artist that can render art so professionally, know colour theory and shade well, make this mistake so brazenly?"** We all have our strengths and weaknesses of course, but someone that can seemingly paint up to par with professional standards will most likely know that there are 5 fingers on and hand and that breasts aren't just water balloons that sit awkwardly. Also something not mentioned that is very often seen with AI 'art' is: look at the POSING of characters. AI heavily favours candid poses that work towards making the character look pretty. If you see dynamic, interesting and unusual poses it is most likely a sign of a real artist.
A LOT of beginners these days study randomly on the internet, they don't follow the "correct art steps". so they get really good at rendering but don't have good foundations at all. this account is definitely AI and im not talking about them. i see people like this all the time like "wow they're really good at rendering but they need to work on anatomy". i think it's really sad that AI art will make them be doubted
See this is why I’m afraid to show progress stuff on my art. I do a lot of my sketching on paper. My sketches are often scribbly and show multiple placements I’m considering. I don’t do speed paints. I don’t show my process at all. All I need is someone pouring over my work with a critical eye telling me and others I used AI just because I don’t think my process is great or worth sharing. I’m still learning digital art myself, and will likely never do speed paints or show progress images. It feels a little too math class for me. I’m not going to show everyone each step I take because others decided to cheat. It sucks that people assume you didn’t do your own work if you don’t “prove” it. It’s setting a precedent that customers expect to be able to rifle through your files and question your artistic decisions. No thanks, I’m good. Maybe my stuff just isn’t that interesting or deep. This AI crap is so frustrating from so many angles.
I am against AI images being passed off as art too but some of your arguments are "she colored this part wrong" or "this hand looks weird" and those CAN be simple mistakes. And then youre convinced bc she doesnt reply to a random saying her art is "inconsistent" and demand proof to specifically u? I do agree this person uses AI to create images but for other reasons
7:00 is clearly an AI image just by looking at the earrings, like really doubt a normal artist would not only make one piece falling but render such a good face and make such a blob as an earring
AI is the epitome of laziness. Just how uninspired do you have to be to turn your art into glossy nonsensical garbage? I struggle with motivation and energy for my art, but even then in spite of it all I would never turn to AI. Why are people so desperate for followers and attention? Why are people so depserate to jump on the hype train? As an artist, I can never imagine turning something I pour my heart and soul into, into soulless AI garbage. My art is what makes me human, it's what communicates my thoughts and feelings, my ideas and my inner world. Why would I ever want to turn away from my humanity? And why would I want to turn my accounts into something akin to a bot? I can't understand, what is there to be proud of when you deceive people and when you post AI for quick clout? What is there to be proud of when the "drawing" isn't yours? Where is the sense of achievement and joy in reaching a big following with your own sweat and tears? Where is the effort? And most importantly: what is there to enjoy about an account that quite literally not just posts AI garbage, but also soulless bot-like captions? Where did the human communication go? Why is the internet becoming home for AI and bots? Didn't it use to be home for people who wanted to communicate with the rest of the world in an accessible way? Once again, where did that communication go? And what especially baffles me is when you clearly have the skill and the ability to draw by yourself throughout the entire process, but for some reason refuse to. And what I'm disappointed by the most, is that this is somehow normalized "Oh just get over it" "This is the future and AI is here to stay, you either get crushed by it or join it" "You're just scared of the technological advancement and that it will replace you" "AI is also art" "It allows art to be more accessible to people" "Why spend so much time on learning how to draw when I can use AI?" "Nobody cares about the process behind the image, we just want to see the result" "Artists can use AI to aid them" "AI is a tool" "AI makes jobs easier and allows people to create an image without needing to commission anybody" And a whole lot of other excuses people come up with What a bunch of blatant BS
General agree with you just want to add on one thing to “AI is a tool”. I know people use that phrase as an excuse and never use it as a tool, but just wanted to let you know there are people who make and train their own AI generators on their art alone and that would be AI genuinely used as a tool.
@Acedragoncakeeater thank you! I'm absolutely aware of that usage. But the thing is, do you REALLY need an AI that impersonates your art? If you've been able to draw everything yourself this whole time, why suddenly need AI to do your own art for you? Especially with how awful it looks compared to your organic art, you know? You're better off just doing it yourself because AI, even if trained only on your own art, still can't compare and it will look generally off and uncanny. It can't be better than something that is hand-drawn
@ I’m just referring to a PidginDoll video where he made and trained an AI for fun and tried to make the AI’s makeup look for fun while adding his own spin
I agree wholeheartedly, although i do believe a few of the mistakes you pointed out are very human mistakes, and some huge red flags you ignored, overall however i agree!
a lot of the posts you called out as being ai were definitely ai assisted, but some of the little flaws you pointed out were pretty telltale signs of HUMAN error, even on ones that i 100% believe were partially made with ai. its lowkey kinda frustrating to watch you critique the only human things on these ai pieces. highkey frustrating, actually. like i had to question if this video was ragebait. ai is incapable of making visible brushstrokes guys
yeah it made the video less credible as a whole when she pointed those out. i was getting frustrated too. like yes it is ai but you're pointing out the wrong things
yeah i felt the same.... at one point there was SO much nit picky critiques of things i know for a fact a human can so easily mess up. ive done it plenty times myself, humans draw things that dont make sense all the damn time too... most of us dont draw everything perfectly... and also criticizing character fanart not being exactly like the original designs also felt weird to me because artists often put their own spin on those things it doesnt need to be 100% accurate in order to not be AI... the video when from intriguing to annoying real quick sadly...
these posts seem to be doing the opposite for real artists because they get too excited finding something wrong even if it's not ai. honestly here before this contributes to toxicity in the art community again, and having people scrutinize art for any imperfect details, stylization, or having their own take on a design. imagine people commenting "this is ai because the lines are wobbly" and they're insulting the person's actual ability
This doesn't have anything to do with the video topic, but I really like how your png is laying down and not just standings still, it's really creative and funny lol XD
almost every mistake you noted are mistakes i make in my own art while drawing it. some of the inconsistencies in character design of like ariel and those are things that could just be creative liberty. artist dont have ro draw a cannon character exactly how they appear in their original piece you can change the desgin and play with it thats the beauty of art people get to show their different perspectives. while i do agree everything you pointed out is AI i wanted to bring to light some of the things you said are things real artists can and do do. also the "braids" on the one black character were actually dreads and ive seen real artists draw dreads like that. and the last thing i wanted to say is i do not see anything inappropriate about the Ariel drawing with no strap on the back. her chest is fully covered and her back is already cannon 99% exposed. i donnot see how showing the remaining inch of back space that was covered by the strap makes it any more revealing or inappropriate??? like you can already see her whole back. also backs are not sexual so i really do not understand why they are being made out to be suggestive just because things that cover the chest also tend to go around the back. duh where else would they attach to?? but her chest is already just as covered as in the real Ariel movie and her original design i don't see how or why anyone would make the strap, that covers an inch width of her back, being missing a sexual thing. in alot of mermaid desgins the chest peices are only attached to the breasts and nothing else its pretty common. anyway i fond your video helpful in detecting Ai i just wnated to say real artists can do many of those things and shouldn't be discredited for some of the things you used to reason their work was AI and i am sick of people really society in general sexualizing paets of the body that have nothing to do with sex. as if women and girls werent sexualized enough. they shouldn't even be in the fiest place. no hate to you i understand your comments were all in good nature i just dont think people realized how they contribute to upholding harmful social norms.
glad someone else said this, cause so many real artists are gonna be falsely accused just for stylistic choices or not being perfect with things like anatomy if this kinda info spreads. The best way to tell in my opinion is still by artifacting and looking at how different parts of the art might blend, or sometimes anything where the more you look at it the more it just doesn't make sense even for a beginner artist. Things like anatomy errors (aside from big issues like hands and extra parts) and having trouble to draw certain hair types or drawing too stiffly are still mistakes artists will make when they are not experienced or rushing to finish. Not coloring something or not knowing how to draw side views or dreadlocks is not always a sign of AI, because it is trained on the mistakes of all the artists its creators have stolen from.
@terezipyrope1364 yes exactly! I've seen so many artists experienced and inexperienced make almost all the mistakes she is talking about it just seems odd for that to be a marker of AI when humans do that exact thing and like you said that's the whole reason ai makes those mistakes. if I myself did digital art by these standards my work would be recognized as AI a lot because it's just so common to make these mistakes and I don't always have a burning desire to make everything perfectly understandable and even. I like the messy side of my work it's what make sit feel like me and not just perfectionist override.
Exactly what I was thinking. There are legitimate concerns that make me believe AI was used, but much of what was mentioned here was really nitpicky. It's this kind of over scrutinization that's going to lead to real artists being accused of using AI. Real artists make similar mistakes, and have similar discrepancies where you can tell what part of the painting they have experience with, and what parts they don't. It's even a common tip, or at least used to be, that you focus the detailing on the focal point, leaving other areas softer and less rendered. And the example with the moon....has she never changed her mind while working on a painting? It looks more like the first moon was drawn, then they decided to go with the other one, and the first one hadn't been erased/deleted yet. I do that kinda thing all the time. Same with the one where the eyes shrank. Both sets of eyes were even shown at the same time, showing both had been drawn. They just decided to shrink the eyes as they refined it.
For future videos, please dont use common art mistakes and taking creative liberties wirh a character as examples of proof somthing is AI. It encourages others to call out REAL ARTISTS who make mistskes, and puts pressure on artists to change the way they make art, or simply not post it, to avoid being harrassed. I very much agree this account has a ton of AI. But there are better, less damagong ways to talk about this and point out ai specific traits, not things that literally every artist struggles with through their art journey.
Yeah exactly I have a pretty messy scribbly art style and a lot of the stuff cited as evidence of ai is totally shit my art would have, I’ve never used ai in my life lol I just don’t enjoy drawing braids 😭
There's a very obvious difference between artist's mistakes and AI's mistakes. I think most artists would be able to tell, though I agree that this could be a harmful ideology for people who lack visual knowledge of these things.
agree, I felt roasted a little bit through out the video. But it was also kida funny. I don't care so much for making everything neat and say, ah thats enough and then I was cooked at the end of the video. But i'm also older(28) and can imagine if I was 10 years younger, that I would feel down after this video
Yeah there are definitely some things she points out that are normal mistakes, especially some of the coloring issues or things starting out detailed and then getting messier (I think most artists have thought about doing something elaborate and then half way through regret their life choices and get messy with it). I also don't think altering character designs in fanart is necessarily proof of AI. There are other things she points out that are more clearly signs of AI, but some of them are just normal mistakes people can make.
I have been trying to link the speedpaints all day but somehow my comments keep getting deleted I wish you had reached out to me privately before creating an almost 30-minute video trying to take my work away from me. I could have sent you the timelapses of the illustrations in question, and I wouldn’t have had to deal with this shitstorm during such a delicate moment in my life. I’ve commented on your video several times, including links to videos that prove what you’re saying about me is false, but those comments keep disappearing into thin air. I’ve also tried reaching out to you privately, but my messages can’t get through due to your account settings. I’ve tried tagging you in the videos that prove what you’re saying in your video is false, but once again, your account settings prevent the tags from going through.
as I mentioned on Instagram, I didn’t see your second comment because, as I’ve announced extensively on that platform (though you might have missed it), I just gave birth and haven’t had the time or opportunity to check Instagram over the past few days for obvious reasons
Unfortunately, I have very little free time to dedicate to this because my baby cries all day. So, I’m posting on my instagram account a few more timelapse videos, similar to the ones already showing the entire process from the initial sketch to the rendering, which you seem to have somehow missed. As for your accusations regarding my use of ChatGPT for texts, as I’ve explained multiple times, English is not my native language. Therefore, I occasionally use a scheduling software that automatically translates the texts I write from Italian to English. I thought it was obvious that my "No AI" statement referred to the fact that I draw all my work by hand, not that I don’t use an automatic translation tool for captions. However, if that makes me a lying fraud in your eyes, I apologize…
Unfortunately, there are many other points I’d like to address, but as I mentioned, my baby leaves me very little free time. However, I want to clarify one specific thing. The image of the princesses hugging, which you criticized, does not faithfully depict the costumes or features of the original princesses because it doesn’t represent them. It depicts some girls, whose photos were provided to me, cosplaying as those princesses in costumes. I accurately portrayed their features and their costumes. You would know this if you had read the caption, but either you didn’t or you chose to ignore it to make your point-so, which one is it?
This is a nightmare for you, I’m so sorry 😢 I follow you on Instagram and it’s amazing the lengths people will go to get attention without following thru on their research….you have a large base who supports you though, try to focus on your well being and your stress levels 💕
what's sad too is that many people feel like her. "Ai can do it better than me.." AND IT KILLS CREATIVITY BC OF THAT. If 9 y/o me saw AI art, she'd feel so insecure and never develop her art journey. .. AI is killing artists.
People say they might have got their profile hacked, but imo it's more likely that this artist read/watched some online lessons on how to market yourself and just went all in with it. The lessons probably said to make your comments to get the lowest common denominator to get engagement from normies (that's why the comments read completely different and use more emojis), it also most likely teached to churn out as much content as possible as fast as possible (and that's why they started using AI) and to start copying bigger artists style to get attention from people just scrolling by and not checking who posted the art/other artists wondering if the guy just made a homage or is stealing.
Lord ai is “fun”, I really wanted to get into art as a career but not anymore if I have to deal with companies being cheap and using ai rather than humans. I even saw and add of someone trying to draw a horse for a logo then basically saying “if you can’t draw use ai it will be done in a few minutes” like if this keeps going who knows what will happen
I'm ngl, the mindset of "I can't draw a horse so I'll make AI do it for me!" is so weird. Like, if you can't draw a horse, why do you think AI is any better at it? An AI generated horse logo would suck anyway. That's such a ridiculous ad And I do agree with you on the art career thing. I still believe there are companies out there with a strong policy against AI, so I recommend looking into it if you still want to pursue an art career! Not all is lost. But it's true that those are going to be much harder to find now I also somewhat relate to that statement because, although I never really wanted an art career as it would suck all the fun out of drawing for me, I still took it into consideration because that's one of the not many things I'm good at in this life, at least it could have gotten me money before. But now? Yeah, not looking forward to it
@@TND12 I agree with your statement, but the problem isn't with AI replacing artists. It's with people that replace artists with AI. They don't care if it looks good or not, sadly
I remember someone making a post about how it can be difficult to tell apart AI from actual art (which it is no denying that) and use Kikowah's image (the red haired girl with a ton of blush and pink shirt and strawberry frappe) as an example of real art and I remember guessing it was AI I was actually surprised. It makes sense now though... it was at least in some part AI.
This is so sad, her old stuff is so fun and creative and the new stuff I can clock as ai from one glance, it looks like shit. Having "no ai" in the bio when she knows full well she's using ai is so scummy, I wish these people would just be honest, at least those people who are like "ai is the future!" and proudly have ai in the bio I can just block and move on from, but these people are trying to be deceitful and trick people. I feel awful for that person who paid to get an ai imagine spat back at them.
I think its important to not nitpick to hell and back ("roots of her hair"), but to look at the "chunks" like looking at her intentions, the time frame, language use, etc. Because as time passes, the sussy levels skyrocket such as how in 10:34 the hoop earrings seem bent, that are supposed to be the same.
I agree it's Ai, but half of the critiques you made were things I do in my own art. Incorrect lighting, lazy braids, forgetting to color things, lack of detail to pull focus, etc. Sometimes purposefully, sometimes accidentally or due to lack of skill. Anyway... I stopped sharing my stuff almost 4 years ago now, so I guess it doesn't matter. I dunno what I'm trying to say. nvm.
So it’s not errors that are the issue. That happens. It’s the lack of consistency. In some pieces things are rendered one way, then completely different in another. The thing with art is you typically don’t randomly get worse at one thing, then better, then worse again. Nothing is consistent in skill or style
Some AI artifacting you missed in the earlier images, is the clipping of certain things just blending into each other as well as nonsensical artifacting. Even if she's drawing over the AI images this is clearly AI because there's so much artifacting. Another point in the timelapses is how the rendering is done, and how much artifacting you can see in some of them (the Hailey Bailey one especially on the hair), and knowing AI can fake timelapses this is def fishy. This is saddening especially seeing a proper artist succumb to this.
You're definitely right that she's using AI!! But here's a tip for making your arguments stronger in the future: focus only on the elements that are *definitely* AI. What I mean is this. One of the strongest tells for an AI image isn't necessarily the hands or anatomical accuracy (though limbs blending into each other or awkward 6th fingers is obvious enough). The number one tell is ***details that are non-sensical that are ALSO rendered/polished***. You do a great job of this @16:25 . The whole image there is very polished. Everything has been "carefully rendered". Yet the details of the sweater are still complete nonsense. It's all very awkward heart-like shapes that get wonky and bleed into other parts of the sweater. No one who takes the time to render an image to this level will leave that kind of obvious structural issue while they're in-the-weeds, zoomed in, and polishing those small sections of their piece. Similar to @20:34 . The whole piece is very polished, but the headstock on the guitar and the number and shape of the tuners is complete nonsense. High level of polish on details that are nonsense is the number one tell. Not just nonsense details by themselves. However, you sort of weaken your argument @23:19 . This is not a very polished piece. The sketch is being left in as the drawing to paint under. I've definitely drawn worse hands in a sketch, before. The hair band being nonsense is a decent point, but the point about the hands isn't nearly as strong because it's very much within the realm of human error. Overall, you're right that she's using AI in some way. Either tracing, color sampling, direct referencing, or some combination of the 3. 100% no doubt. Just be careful in the future to only use the strongest arguments. I say that because the artist your talking about has "rebutted" your arguments by posting full timelapses of the *least AI looking* work that you criticized. Whereas if you only criticized stuff like the girl @16:25 and similar cases, she would have had a much harder time coming back with a seemingly legitimate response. But because you used examples that may or may not have been AI, she was able to latch onto those and use them to "disprove" your claims (even though your basic premise that she's using AI is still correct). Thanks for calling this behavior out.
Maybe she wasn´t seeing any big improvement on her art or she suddenly didn´t have as much time to draw and decided to switch to AI? It´s really weird since her art was actually really good. I saw another comment say maybe she was hacked, since it happens often, but there´s videos where she shows her hands, and unless the hacker is also a woman, or maybe paying someone to do those videos for them, wich i highly doubt, it´s probably the original owner of the account. Also i really like your art! I would love to see more content from you in the future.
90% of those AI images can only do cute girls in cute poses, disney princesses, mermaids and cute animals. I dont think Ive ever seen an AI profile that did, say, battle scenes.
AI really makes me feel confident in my art because I may not be the best, but at least my art is made by a human. I already had belief in the human soul, but AI has cemented it.
Holy shit this is actually kind of insane to see the difference. I don’t wanna make a generalization but personally me and most of the other artists I know would be way to perfectionist to leave the backgrounds looking like that like the butterflies at 8:11 if you pause and look you can tell with the butterflies because one morphs into the earrings and some of the tiny pink hearts turned into just dots. I think she probably drew it in her style or at the very least did a super bare bones version and then did all the details with AI. That made me feel so like icky when I saw it. Her old art had so much heart and you could literally see her improvement with every new piece :(
I think the better gauge for ai art isnt the mistakes necessarily, since sometimes people take shortcuts or are absentminded, or just tired. However, the few things that i noticed is the details ai will draw will have no follow through. You bring it up but itll be straps disappearing, fingers vanishing, etc. Another is Style inconsistency. This artist poaches from disney and (probably) loish, so we hard pivot from disney concept art, loishs sketch style, and to the typical 3d render look without much overlap. With one of the posts she probably prompted a loish piece and asked to make it more disney, since that glowing fish design is exactly like something loish would make. When you're sketching thats (when i think) your personal style is the most apparent, since it is how you Most Comfortably get ideas down. If theres such discrepancy between sketches, theyre probably generated using famous sketch prompts (again, disney concept art as one)
its so sad that ai is now also making people question real art because of bs like this... people make mistakes too, pretty often even... art "not making sense" shouldnt automatically mean its ai
Your voice is so relaxing- I could listen to so many of these videos where you sleuth out AI art and show evidence that it is AI. It would be very informative for people to know the signs.
Just discovered your channel through this video and I enjoyed it to much! I'd love to see more of this art page analysis style of commentary to shed light on the AI artists on instagram/pinterest.
can def confirm this is ai. had my art used by midjourney (which is like an ai generator) and it has styles that look VERY similar to this... its honestly so disheartening to see genuine artists turn to ai due to how easy it is to do. great job on the video ur very well spoken!
I have actually found someone on pixiv who started with AI images, but then stopped and started doing it themselves. For some reason the AI images are still up. And I tried to look really hard at the images to see if the pictures where just well generated or later edited (or just AI assisted in general). But no, they seem like actual drawn art. Good for them that they changed.
Subbed the instant I heard that Majoras mask music, this shit is so scummy though. It shows that they have some conception of how bad AI is for people but they care more about outputting slop than improving their own abilities.
I think you are probably right... especially with the later posts. But damn if you aren't making me worried that someone's gonna try and say my digital stuff is AI at some point;;; forgetting to colour random spots or not drawing a glasses frame... or odd lines that sometimes make no sense? girl, that's just my ADHD ;;~;;
AI art almost always has the same feel - soulless. I do diamond painting and I live in Germany, and so many of the German companies who produce diamond paintings use AI, and it's like I'm seeing the same image again and again and again. I much prefer diamond paintings with licensed art, where you can see that there's a real artist behind the picture.
IDK how it happens, but so many ai gened images look like bad photoshop jobs. At the big Board Game Con in Essen earlier this year some booths were blatantly selling ai gened prints - all of them had the vibe of like those weird photoshop renders showing hyperrealistic renditions of the Simpsons characters.
While i definitely think there is some AI involved, some of the stuff you pointed out as being AI made i can see an actual artist do. No one is perfect while drawing but also, when you show for example the braid having details and then less details, its a style of drawing that exists, only putting details where you want the viewer's gaze to go. I think her illustrations are maybe 40% AI and 60% her
i kinda hate this bcs beginner towards intermediate or not even beginner, would sometimes miss the details like the gap between hair, or make the details blurry, have the arms slightly too long, not pay much attention of little things you know? and this will make people think it's AI
You know I’m an old fart, been at this painting shit a LONGGG time. I cannot even begin to imagine how damaging this is for younger artists. It’s hard enough to get eyeballs on your stuff these days without one, being in development and needing to learn (this process never ends but becomes about smaller incremental improvements as you mature) but two, having EVERY platform absolutely swamped with this generic generated slop that uncritical eyes just drink up. It’s FUBAR. If I may give some advice if you’re young and creative you need to forget about the Loish clone, Disney obsessed stuff and actually do something really different. And share it on Cara, avoid Insta like the plague because sharing your genuine efforts on Insta and other platforms is just feeding these Diffusion models more fodder to keep going. If ALL actual artists stop posting on platforms that sell your data on these models eventually collapse. Good luck kids, keep scribbling, don’t give up.
15:40 , this could be a common mistake, it doesnt mean shes using ai, i mean, ai just fucks up the hands to the point where you can't even fix it, for the eyes, i also think its a common mistake and not ai, 15:18, the uncolored hairtie could be a sign that the artwork isn't ai, i suspect that, on some artworks, she uses ai/traces and while also posting it among her original artworks that shes done.
I considered the idea that it’s okay to use ai for prompts but the more I think about it it probably makes people just miss details they would put in themselves but don’t anyways
It's crazy how until you spoke about the weird details I couldn't always notice it was AI, mostly because looking at it for a few seconds like you showed us makes us focus only on the main/general parts, skipping all the weird details. Exactly like how people would see a post quickly and not notice details (wether AI or classic drawing, people don't tend to look at details first)
7:05 at first i didnt see the AI BUT it's the earrings not lining up. 1 star is floating and the other one is attached to her lobe. you would think the ears would be similarly shaded as well. 1 of the stars is WONKY af. thats what gave it away.
The worst thing is that you can't even really trust progress videos anymore, even if they show the complete progress from start to finish. I saw a video here from another artist who researched "AI progress videos" or "AI speed paintings" and it was scary. I'm sure seasoned artists can spot that the videos are AI, but to non-artist people these look real. I heard that some people got scammed this way, because they thought they paid for a real art commission, but got AI crap instead.
I literally just bought the Jelly Style Brushes pack you said used an AI image X_X TBF!! It has been my favorite brush pack ever and I love every single brush in it, and they are exactly like the other example photos. I am actually interested why you think that one is AI? I dont really see any red flags on it EDIT: I also want to point out it was not one year in between the time jump. It was more like 6 months. The last "real" artwork she did was december 2022 then the alleged AI upload was in June 2023, which is not a full year. that makes it even more sketchy no pun intended. Also I noticed before she had much more diversity in faces and poses, whereas after they all feel same facey, same expressions, same featueres.... it is really suspicious. And there is no way she could develop so many DIFFERENT skills so quickly (backgrounds, clothing, anatomy, etc.) I mean not impossible but like....
Just wanted to say that everything doesnt have look exactly as a refrence/movie accurate, its always more funner to add your own head cannons to characters and even change their clothing to what you like more or just to simplifie it because it can be damn hard some times to draw exactly like in the movies. MAKING THE CHARACTERS MORE DETAILED AND UNIQUE TO YOU IS SUPPER FUN AFTER ALL :3 (btw i dont mean no hate i just had to get it off my chest to remind ya its tottaly ok to make popular animated characters desing to more your liking! again no hate. SUNSINE AND CREATIVITY TO YALL!!!!
definitely AI! I think the best way to tell is through visual clues and then context clues. If you reckon something might be AI, look at the details and ask: does that actually make logical sense? To make sure, check the profile of the person who posted it at look at consistency and the times they posted - that's the context.
Thank GOD youre calling this person out! It’s obvious af she uses hella ai! It’s a shame tho because sooo many more copy cats have popped up and are doing the same thing as her😩
As a (VERY) amateur artist- How do you go about getting full recordings/speed-paints for your art? I use procreate and it is extremely rare that I finish a piece in one sitting because I’m just really slow when it comes to drawing and shit- Is there a way to get a recording of the whole process easily or would I just have to like screen record every time I work on it, then just edit it together later? Thanks in advance ^^
As a purely analogue artist, it's pretty easy to reassure folks my work's real, because I can just randomly take photos at various stages of the process of pencils, inking, etc. On a commission, that's a NECESSITY to make sure they're happy with each stage. But this kind of stuff just really makes it a pain for digital artists who increasingly need to "show their work".
I feel like looking at kikowahs artworks (depending on if we can call them that) that some of them are truly made by them, some have ai elements in them (like generating something then tracing the linework of it, or generating the render) and some are just fully AI - rlly so sad to be putting "no AI" in the profile though when the style and render variations make it very obvious when you start to look into it a little bit
at first glance, I hesitate to assume AI art, but the more you see, especially compared to older art, the less of a consistent style you see. what I mean is, no matter where you are on your art journey, you have a specific style. so unless we're talking stick figures, we should be able to see some details/brushstrokes that are sort of consistent throughout all works, including the old pieces. especially when it comes to eyes, as that is one of my fave things to draw/paint, it strikes me as odd that the eyes change so drastically in their pieces
i noticed on the rapunzel one her hair curves slightly like it's going into a braid but then it just goes all weird and there's that huge clump of hair leaning onto her arm that doesn't even make sense like where is that clump even coming from? that's how i knew this was ai
Possibly these are real artists who had their accounts inactive for a while, and hacked without them realizing it. So now someone's making money on AI and also their art.
for those who are not artist... it is easy to fake out the steps of AI drawing with speed timelapse I can start with over drawing the lines and and copy the base color and jump to almost finished work...
I love the speedpaints :D

@@Lo0kAtmYS0ckz But like if she isn’t using AI then she should have no problem with sharing the speedpaints of her art. Also, the whitewashing of certain characters is a whole other thing. @@GhostSilas It is, 100%! It was like the Nimbus 2000 or something, I hate that I remember that lmao
Its so sad how her old real art got zero recognition and her ai art brought in 5k
This. But it does seem like she's actually drawing on top of it, which is probably why her own art got better too.
As sad as it seems, AI is an escalator while everyone else takes the states, you can make 10 drawings while people that put in the effort make 1.
Yeah an average person couldn't draw enough to meet the requirements of Instagram algorithm that's why ai art gets more views
because AI farts out whatever is most popular atm, hence why they all have that same 'artificially perfect' vibe

its either she was hacked, or its a similar situation to that League of Legends artist who turned to AI for their artwork. Its such a same that people throw away their hard work and give in...
Fr and she seemed good with colouring if she only like saw some vids on how to draw like the pics shes sharing its literally a poplar art style cmon
Her getting hacked would explain the big one year gap between her last real drawing and her first use of ai. Maybe she gave away her account because she didn't want it anymore. Especially since her old post was not getting any views at all.

Yeah most times I can immediately tell it’s AI art if it’s
A) too bright, all the highlights are bright and fluffy/glowy looking
B) there’s way too much detail- I know people have the ability to add massive amounts of detail, but when the face has almost no intricate details but the clothes look hyper-realistic, it’s a sign it’s AI.
C) doesn’t work much anymore because AI is becoming more advanced, but just look at the fingers.
There are a lot more signs obviously but those are just quick ways to tell, atleast they work for me lol.
Derpy and melted looking eyes are usually a sign to. Usually ai defaults to a blank expression to.
Also, check the little details because often that’s a dead giveaway! Whether it be a wobbly pupil (that shouldn’t be wobbly), weird inconsistencies in the teeth and just any other intricate thing!
an overlooked way to tell is zooming in on the image real good to see how its coloured
typically ai images have a ton of colours in one spot or the linework has a weird outline
@@Cerealouslythis is right. Look at the line/color work - with an actual peice, there's a method, even to madness, but in AI, a hairstrand can suddenly morph in a choker, and details on clothes will fadeaway like they were partially erased
What im hoping will happen is ai will eventually become so overused that it eats itself, making everything unintelligible again.
20:39 for me, that's undeniable proof- as an artist AND guitarist/ukulele player, i have no idea what that instrument is. it has five tuning pegs... on one side? but clearly it's not a guitar, and not a ukulele, and it's so deformed, everything past the nut is ludicrous. it's insane.
the hole is for some reason low, the shape is all blobby, and the strings are just... all congealed
I was gonna argue about how people don’t know what instruments really look like, and then I clicked the timestamp. No you’re right. That’s atrocious. That’s not something someone would make with or without references.
Looks like a hotdog with teeth in it😭😭 (cello player :D)
It's funny because my thought was i'd totally draw an instrument like that for the sketch and then decide in rendering if i wanted to go all in on the cartoony look or put in the effort to make it make sense. Ai has the lack of intention beginner artists have but the rendering of those who would know better.
While that’s obviously ai, do you not know what a bass guitar is?
As a digital artist, who is still trying to get better with shading, coloring and anatomy, it sucks that people think that making AI art and posting it without the knowledge that art takes time, like a lot :(
Also ur channel is so underrated like what???
U got a new sub, keep it up :3
Edit: holy shmoly 200 likes???!
@@amanitaaldaine imagine the logic in any other area: *prints a photo "I'm a photographer!"
@@amanitaaldaineI see your point. Maybe they do try either their art, and they just end up using AI in the end. Which makes sense.
Its such a shame bc they seem like a great artist
wow, from human to nothing. Lowkey i love how she caption her post it was so cutee
Yeah, at first it was incredibly human and you can feel the "Hey, I'm a practicing artist!" vibe and it's very cute ngl. The new ones just feel off
I 100% get your point, but as an artist, I know sometimes that I do stupid shit with my art, like not 100% accurate light bloob on nose or wrinkles on clothes that don't make 100% sence, however, indeed her "art" look like Ai generated piece with touchup on it
Yeah some of the stuff she pointed out are things I've definitely done, especially some of the coloring mistakes.
I don't think any of these facts by themselves is what gave them the idea that it was ai. Its all of them together
@@shesomadeline i'm going to ask genuinely because im curious, why do you want to skip most of the drawing process for "efficiency"? I guess I'm asking why you're drawing at all if you seemingly don't want to draw?
I truly believe she sold the account
SAME! It makes sooooo much more sense, especially the one year gap.
I think the worst part is that she's charging people for AI art...gross.
I suppose there's no real way to explain it without having that experience and memory bank, but a good way to spot these is ask yourself:
->**"Would an artist that can render art so professionally, know colour theory and shade well, make this mistake so brazenly?"**
We all have our strengths and weaknesses of course, but someone that can seemingly paint up to par with professional standards will most likely know that there are 5 fingers on and hand and that breasts aren't just water balloons that sit awkwardly.
YESSSSS PREACH SISTER PREACH 👏 YES WE HEAR YOUUU
I am against AI images being passed off as art too but some of your arguments are "she colored this part wrong" or "this hand looks weird" and those CAN be simple mistakes. And then youre convinced bc she doesnt reply to a random saying her art is "inconsistent" and demand proof to specifically u?
I do agree this person uses AI to create images but for other reasons
yeah that bothered me too
Because she is a professional artist, and she knows what she is talking about
@maryspeedpaints2232 her being a "professional" just means that she wouldn't make those mistakes. Doesnt mean someone else can't.

And what I'm disappointed by the most, is that this is somehow normalized
"Oh just get over it"
"This is the future and AI is here to stay, you either get crushed by it or join it"
"You're just scared of the technological advancement and that it will replace you"
"AI is also art"
"It allows art to be more accessible to people"
"Why spend so much time on learning how to draw when I can use AI?"
"Nobody cares about the process behind the image, we just want to see the result"
"Artists can use AI to aid them"
"AI is a tool"
"AI makes jobs easier and allows people to create an image without needing to commission anybody"
And a whole lot of other excuses people come up with
What a bunch of blatant BS
Let me go out of my way to find the video for you since I wasn’t even specific enough
@ the video explains better than I ever could
I agree wholeheartedly, although i do believe a few of the mistakes you pointed out are very human mistakes, and some huge red flags you ignored, overall however i agree!
What things did she ignore?
Dang, I was following her and when I saw her name pop up I was like "NUH UH" but yeah as I kept watching that made me realize oh 😭
I suspected she used ai the first time I found her and had me fooled for like a year before this video 😞
a lot of the posts you called out as being ai were definitely ai assisted, but some of the little flaws you pointed out were pretty telltale signs of HUMAN error, even on ones that i 100% believe were partially made with ai. its lowkey kinda frustrating to watch you critique the only human things on these ai pieces. highkey frustrating, actually. like i had to question if this video was ragebait. ai is incapable of making visible brushstrokes guys
yeah for real, i forget to color things all the time but im using my human hands to do it
yeah it made the video less credible as a whole when she pointed those out. i was getting frustrated too. like yes it is ai but you're pointing out the wrong things
yeah i felt the same.... at one point there was SO much nit picky critiques of things i know for a fact a human can so easily mess up. ive done it plenty times myself, humans draw things that dont make sense all the damn time too... most of us dont draw everything perfectly... and also criticizing character fanart not being exactly like the original designs also felt weird to me because artists often put their own spin on those things it doesnt need to be 100% accurate in order to not be AI... the video when from intriguing to annoying real quick sadly...
these posts seem to be doing the opposite for real artists because they get too excited finding something wrong even if it's not ai. honestly here before this contributes to toxicity in the art community again, and having people scrutinize art for any imperfect details, stylization, or having their own take on a design. imagine people commenting "this is ai because the lines are wobbly" and they're insulting the person's actual ability
How can you tell?
This doesn't have anything to do with the video topic, but I really like how your png is laying down and not just standings still, it's really creative and funny lol XD
I saw an artist who has an ai generated “song” in her videos make a post about how much she hates ai art…

Well I mean, ai art and ai songs areee drastically different but it follows the same formular as an ai taking an artists job so yeah, pretty dumb🗿
Maybe she doesn't know... Pleeease tell me you told her and didn't just stay quiet to not make a stir 😭 That's so awful
Hmmm.... Wonder who.... (sarcasm I think I know who it is)
@ yeah i made a community post because she blocked me
almost every mistake you noted are mistakes i make in my own art while drawing it. some of the inconsistencies in character design of like ariel and those are things that could just be creative liberty. artist dont have ro draw a cannon character exactly how they appear in their original piece you can change the desgin and play with it thats the beauty of art people get to show their different perspectives. while i do agree everything you pointed out is AI i wanted to bring to light some of the things you said are things real artists can and do do. also the "braids" on the one black character were actually dreads and ive seen real artists draw dreads like that. and the last thing i wanted to say is i do not see anything inappropriate about the Ariel drawing with no strap on the back. her chest is fully covered and her back is already cannon 99% exposed. i donnot see how showing the remaining inch of back space that was covered by the strap makes it any more revealing or inappropriate??? like you can already see her whole back. also backs are not sexual so i really do not understand why they are being made out to be suggestive just because things that cover the chest also tend to go around the back. duh where else would they attach to?? but her chest is already just as covered as in the real Ariel movie and her original design i don't see how or why anyone would make the strap, that covers an inch width of her back, being missing a sexual thing. in alot of mermaid desgins the chest peices are only attached to the breasts and nothing else its pretty common. anyway i fond your video helpful in detecting Ai i just wnated to say real artists can do many of those things and shouldn't be discredited for some of the things you used to reason their work was AI and i am sick of people really society in general sexualizing paets of the body that have nothing to do with sex. as if women and girls werent sexualized enough. they shouldn't even be in the fiest place. no hate to you i understand your comments were all in good nature i just dont think people realized how they contribute to upholding harmful social norms.
glad someone else said this, cause so many real artists are gonna be falsely accused just for stylistic choices or not being perfect with things like anatomy if this kinda info spreads.
@Seraitsukara exactly. I completely agree with you
@mushnoom thank you... I kind of felt attacked watching this. 😅 Couldn't put it into words as well as you. Was helpful to read though.

5:48 nimbus is the name of the expensive brooms from Harry Potter:3
Yes, and Firebolt was the one Harry got to replace his Nimbus 2000. 😊
what's sad too is that many people feel like her.
That's such a ridiculous ad
And I do agree with you on the art career thing. I still believe there are companies out there with a strong policy against AI, so I recommend looking into it if you still want to pursue an art career! Not all is lost. But it's true that those are going to be much harder to find now
I also somewhat relate to that statement because, although I never really wanted an art career as it would suck all the fun out of drawing for me, I still took it into consideration because that's one of the not many things I'm good at in this life, at least it could have gotten me money before. But now? Yeah, not looking forward to it
Nah it wont like reach the real art
my dream career is in the art industry, it'd majorly suck if ai replaces us.
@@TamWam_ dude why r ppl like this ai will never replace real art its not a very good at details and doesnt get everything right
@@TND12 I agree with your statement, but the problem isn't with AI replacing artists. It's with people that replace artists with AI. They don't care if it looks good or not, sadly
most if not all of the captions since they started using ai sounds chat gpt generated
Nimbus is the name of the broom, " nimbus 2000" its from harry potter ^^ GREAT VIDEO
Nimbus2021 is a parody of Nimbus2000 from Harry Potter but if you look down in the corner of the zoom in, you can see her signature
14:46 Ohuhu is supposed to be anti-AI too... I wonder what went wrong for this thief to get to make a promotion for them
ohuhu was scammed just like everyone else....
90% of those AI images can only do cute girls in cute poses, disney princesses, mermaids and cute animals.
I dont think Ive ever seen an AI profile that did, say, battle scenes.
5:47 its a broom from harry potter! all the brooms in the book series have the type of broom (nimbus) and the number (2021) hope this helped
Sad as hell in general. I believe that she got one ai model that tries to mimic ilya kuvshinov's 2015 artstyle. Especially on "her" piece at 23:55.
I feel the poor fish at 10:26 looks like a copy of Qinni.
Okay but like the fact no one has ever noticed is wild, like I could immediately tell that their "art" was just ai slop.
People who use image generators and call it art is the greatest example of doing things just because you can it’s unbelievable
Her old art had so much heart and you could literally see her improvement with every new piece :(
its so upsetting to see ai art everywhere
I'm pretty sure Nimbus 2021 is a reference to the Nimbus 2000 flying sports broom from Harry Potter.
I feel bad because my ADHD makes me sometimes do nonsense in my art and I always think "god, will people think I am ai 😢" idk
its so sad that ai is now also making people question real art because of bs like this... people make mistakes too, pretty often even... art "not making sense" shouldnt automatically mean its ai
Thanks for the tip on hiding images 😭😭
It is so fucking obvious that they used ai like it’s not even funny… I feel like I can just sense when something’s ai
Can you PLEASE list all the songs you used in this video.
I'm so tired of people using song but not crediting a single one, it's exhausting.
At 14:23 the song she’s using seems to be “White Noiz” from Silent Hill 2
The rest sounds like it could be from either Mario or Zelda but idk
The song at the beginning is the Clock Town theme from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Your voice is so relaxing- I could listen to so many of these videos where you sleuth out AI art and show evidence that it is AI. It would be very informative for people to know the signs.
Actually really sad to see someone who was genuinely good at art turn to ai🤦
Just discovered your channel through this video and I enjoyed it to much! I'd love to see more of this art page analysis style of commentary to shed light on the AI artists on instagram/pinterest.
the ai art looks like a mix of disney, chibi, and gretel lusky’s art style
can def confirm this is ai. had my art used by midjourney (which is like an ai generator) and it has styles that look VERY similar to this... its honestly so disheartening to see genuine artists turn to ai due to how easy it is to do. great job on the video ur very well spoken!
Midjourney would actually do a better job and it can do absolutely any style.
The terrible linework is proof of a cheap AI, not midjourney or niji.
I think you are probably right... especially with the later posts. But damn if you aren't making me worried that someone's gonna try and say my digital stuff is AI at some point;;;
forgetting to colour random spots or not drawing a glasses frame... or odd lines that sometimes make no sense? girl, that's just my ADHD ;;~;;
@@eightcoins4401 At this point, I think AI bots are trained with training data generated by other AI bots, so AI images look the same more and more.
While i definitely think there is some AI involved, some of the stuff you pointed out as being AI made i can see an actual artist do. No one is perfect while drawing but also, when you show for example the braid having details and then less details, its a style of drawing that exists, only putting details where you want the viewer's gaze to go. I think her illustrations are maybe 40% AI and 60% her
i miss drawing in the 2010's
"have a blessed day" every freaking time. its almost a tell unto itself.
i kinda hate this bcs beginner towards intermediate or not even beginner, would sometimes miss the details like the gap between hair, or make the details blurry, have the arms slightly too long, not pay much attention of little things you know? and this will make people think it's AI
She sketched her drawing then filled them in with ai
15:40 , this could be a common mistake, it doesnt mean shes using ai, i mean, ai just fucks up the hands to the point where you can't even fix it, for the eyes, i also think its a common mistake and not ai, 15:18, the uncolored hairtie could be a sign that the artwork isn't ai,
i suspect that, on some artworks, she uses ai/traces and while also posting it among her original artworks that shes done.
I considered the idea that it’s okay to use ai for prompts but the more I think about it it probably makes people just miss details they would put in themselves but don’t anyways
Crazy theory she sold the account and the new owner is using the account like a skin walker of sorts
I literally just bought the Jelly Style Brushes pack you said used an AI image X_X
TBF!! It has been my favorite brush pack ever and I love every single brush in it, and they are exactly like the other example photos.
I am actually interested why you think that one is AI? I dont really see any red flags on it
EDIT: I also want to point out it was not one year in between the time jump.
I also just got those brushes and didn’t notice any red flags, now I’m kinda worried lol
14:25 silver screen refers to theater screens and saying the silver screen is a very valid way to say that. I say it myself
SUNSINE AND CREATIVITY TO YALL!!!!
out of topic but the twilight princess soundtrack caught me off guard in the best way possible
definitely AI! I think the best way to tell is through visual clues and then context clues. If you reckon something might be AI, look at the details and ask: does that actually make logical sense? To make sure, check the profile of the person who posted it at look at consistency and the times they posted - that's the context.
18:37 The swoop of her bangs having neither end attached to her scalp;;
I Feel like this person posts a mix of their own art and AI art.
The use of the word dear is giving hacked/sold account.
Very astute analysis and breakdowns, thank you for sharing 🙏🏻
i actually hate ai so much its ruining sm shi like istg theres no reason for it but to be lazy😭🙏
Possibly these are real artists who had their accounts inactive for a while, and hacked without them realizing it. So now someone's making money on AI and also their art.
Bahahaha I’m so sorry when you swapped to the twilight princess theme it was kinda funny for some reason especially the vibes you were giving off
Great video. Love the use of Twilight Princess soundtracks
Ai "art"
Cough* cough *pure slop*
for those who are not artist... it is easy to fake out the steps of AI drawing with speed timelapse
I can start with over drawing the lines and and copy the base color and jump to almost finished work...
That original art style was absolutely beautiful!
5:46 probably a few people pointed this out, but Nimbus is a flying broom from Harry Potter, for as much as I can remember :3
