Mine is Noibat/Noivern because I was really struggling with the game when I played it. And it was sucking the enjoyment out of me. But then I got a noibat and they helped me enjoy the game again.
And I really enjoy the sounds they make. Hopefully someday I’ll catch a shiny one.

That is so cool! I just got a fresh copy of emerald and I plan to hunt mew and snag a couple ribbons with it! I love the back story here, I personally have never been a fan of absol but i really enjoy the reasoning as to why you love it! :3
My favorite Pokémon is Espurr and I’m SO glad we got confirmation she’ll be in the SV DLC! I played some spinoff Pokémon games as a kid (Channel, Snap) but never really got into the mainline games until X/Y, which came out a few months into my first year of college. As soon as I laid eyes on Espurr for the first time on Route 6, I knew she was the Pokémon for me. We love a Pokémon with a cute hiccup-meow and a thousand yard stare~!

I absolutely love shuckle, mostly because it is adorable but over all its because it is what got me into pokemon, it was my first pokemon card and I actually still have it
Zorua and Zoroark both forms. I feel in love with their design as soon as they were first announced. Teased to seem like legendaries. But now we can find them in the wilds. Zoura’s trickster giggle in the anime lives rent free in my heart. I love using the ability to throw people off. And then they announced Hisui Zorua and Zoroark. Ghost types being my favorite of all time, I about broke down. I got my first tattoo before Scarlet and Violet came out. I got both forms in a forest together, cause I always wanted all four in one sitting.

You should find a shiny Pincurchin with the Destiny mark next. I love them too but my first love has always been shiny Meowth and Persians. Lol I love that such random reasons can make a Pokémon your number one. It’s a nice story to hear. ❤

my favorite pokemon is charizard, I had a female charizard in pokemon X who basically soled the entire game for me along with my chesnaught, she was the first mon I ever got to lv100, the pinnacle of power for a pokemon
Mine is treeko. First Pokémon card, first starter in the game. I love them so much, and they are the reason why hoenn and grass types hold a special place in my heart.

I'm glad Pincurchin has a superfan, It really got overshadowed by Snom who's also a "silly buttface" but i always appreciated it. Even used one, Gary, in my first nuzlocke of the game.
Partially for Nuzlocking reasons as well, my favorite is Clefable.
I've always been really interested in pincurchin. I honestly don't have a favorite Pokemon. Cuz I like multiple equally for their own reasons 😂. Buizel, Grovyle, Espeon, Rayquaza and HO-oh. 😌
As you can probably tell from my pfp, my favorite pokemon is Shinx, closely followed by Fennekin. I don't know what it is about Shinx that makes me like it so much, I know I just do. It was actually during my playthrough of Pokemon Violet when I realized I had just always used a Luxray on my team without even thinking about it. Me realizing Shinx was my favorite was also probably helped by when I got it first try in PMD Explorers of Sky.

i think mine has to be any out of the goomy line. the gen 6 anime was my first big introduction to pokemon, and the moment goomy showed up, i fell in love. i love that whole line, both kalos and hisui

I realize this is way late, but I decided to share my favorite and that would have to be Girafarig because it has always been there and I was so excited when it was in the trailer for scarlet and violet since it wasn't there in SwSh and it wad also my first Pokemon TCG card. Love the videos so far and can't wait to see more!

I like Voltorb because it's ball shaped, a lot of my favourite Pokemon are round but Voltorb is the ultimate ball. I especially like the original Kanto Voltorb and the shiny is incredible, and I nickname it Angry Blue normally. I was so excited when Voltorb was in Scarlet and Violet, the shiny took a long time but it was worth every second. I also like Hsusian Voltorb with the legendary eyebrows lol
Hisuian Voltorb has to be in my top ten favorites! Great choice!

My favorite Pokémon is the Snivy line. Discovered all the way back to when I saw some episodes of the Best Wishes series where Ash had a Snivy. I even developed some sort of childhood crush on her lmao. I'm a late arrival in the franchise (I was more into Minecraft back then) so my first Pokémon game was White 2, so of course I picked Snivy having been inspired by our favorite boy from Pallet Town. My first ever starter, that Snivy, is now a Serperior and is actually in Pokémon HOME now. 10 years have passed and Snivy, Servine and Serperior are still arguably my favorite, they are set in stone. To be honest I am kinda jealous of all of you, you with your Pincurchin, sxperpotion with his Mac and Cheese Rotom, Shiny Catherine and her Woopers, a lot of you have your favorites and loving Pokémon in Paldea... I don't. My Serperior is still stuck in the limbo of HOME, the closest I can get to play with that Unovan starter is having Samurott in Paldea or Snivy in Pokémon Café Remix. I wish and hope Gamefreak brings the other Unovan starters in the DLC, so I can finally bring my boy to Paldea, show him the books of Naranja Academy, the cardinal lighthouses of the region, the painted barks of Tagtree Forest and the crystals of Area Zero, as well as everything in Kitakami and wherever the Blueberry Academy will be of course. And hey, maybe even shiny hunt with a trusty Serperior by my side, y'all's videos are really fun to watch and I might try some shiny hunting on my own. That day will come for sure, just crossing fingers.
My favourite is rowlet because when I wasn’t really that into Pokémon my friend showed me rowlet I didn’t know it’s name I just new that I loved it now I know it’s name and I love it and it’s evolutions like a best friend
was looking for pincurchin videos on youtube to celebrate my pincurchin plush i ordered from JP finally arriving in the US (my precious Duplo is almost here!!!) and this is easily the best one :) thank you for loving pincurchin. I've obtained shinies of all of my favorites beside pincurchin I think. I have Appletun (all time fave, her name is Sweetart), Swadloon, Shroomish, Quagsire, Lotad, Turtwig and more!! i love shiny hunting so much and especially getting my shiny swadloon was really exciting. wishing you wonderful luck in your next hunt :)

I've been shiny hunting rookidee for weeks now and I'm taking this as a sign I may get it soon, this video really made me smile though :] can't wait to see what you upload next!! My ultimate favorite is hard as I love a lot of them, but I'd have to say Sceptile, basic choice I know but he was my first starter and the first pokemon I grew attached to :D though close seconds are joltik, pincurchin, and galarian zapdos :)

428ish hours, looong break in between when I started and ended, but I got him tonight and cried 💪💪💪 Named him Midas because of the gold coloration!! Finally beat the first gym after all this time :,) Struggle aside, I’m thrilled! Absolutely never hunting in swsh ever again though, if I didn’t require it to be from galar I would’ve just shiny farmed in sv 😭 but that’s my update, I honestly thought I’d never get to finish the hunt but i was extra lucky today I spose!

Gengar, I wasn’t ever really into Pokémon as a little kid, but when my mom brought out her old N64 and showed us Pokémon stadium, one of her preset teams had a Gengar on it, and I loved how silly he looked, so I guess in a sense, Gengar has just been here since the beginning for me

My favourite Pokémon is Roselia, gen 3 was the first gen i got to play on my own without having to share a save file with my brother and roses are my favourite flower. Also I'm a shiny hunter and Roselia's shiny is a goth dream come true, i won every single contest using a Roselia called Miels back in the day, so nostalgic to think about it 💚 I'm kinda sad that the Roselia line isn't in Paldea, but i can still enjoy them in Legends ^^

I have 3 favorites tied for first and they're all cats. Mew, espurr, and sprigatito and I'm so happy that espurr will be in the dlc sprigatito was my starter and I can transfer mew through home

i think my favorite shiny is probably scyther/scizor!
i found my first one in legends: arceus after failing both a shiny machoke (because it despawned) and a shiny starly and it made me so happy
i hadnt really decided on a shiny i loved until finding that scyther but now its a scizor in my pl:a team and i’d say its my fav

When I was a kid I loved shieldon I can’t remember why but now it has to be chandelure because it’s design is so cool I’m currently shiny hunting a litwick on violet so that I can have a shiny one.
My fav pokemon is greninja, hands down
Reasoning? His shiny: sick. His base form: sick as well. And he's a starter too (froakie is cool also) and also I have shiny greninja in s/v too :D
When I was growing up, my favourite pokemon was Raichu. I used to get so sad as a kid because all the merch was for Pikachu, and never his evolution, so I only really had this one stuffie of Raichu that we managed to find. Still, I hoarded any Raichu cards I could find and carried that toy around with me everywhere.
When Black&White came out, I fell in love with Behyeehem which a lot of people find weird but I've always loved aliens and my Behyeehem absolutely carried my team. Was the most reliable pokemon I had in those games.
Now however, my favourite is still mostly Raichu for most games, but thanks to Legends: Arceus, Hisuian Typhlosion has stolen my heart. I know for a fact that pokemon is my absolute favourite but won't be coming to any other games. It's a shame.. But all the more reason to keep coming back to Legends Arceus to keep playing it :)

But i still have some special care for Decidueye, Boltund and Inteleon.
I don't really know why.
Maybe it's cuz i like Decidueye's design, Boltund is just the cutest boi and Inteleon is just... Inteleon.
I simply love them, but can't explain why.
Even though classic Decidueye and Inteleon are (probably) only in SV with trades and Boltund isin't available, they will all have special places in my heart.
There are, also, honorable mentions like Primarina, Metagross, Mimikyu, Dragapult and Toxtricity (Low Amp).
I really want to get Furfrou… but I’m running out of time, at least until ZA comes out
True, Legends ZA will be its Switch debut. i think its rather tough to find in x and y but in usum you can SOS for it
My all time fav is Centiscorch souly because right when o had started playing Pokémon again it was Pokémon sword and sheild and when i was doing the fire gym challenge I found sizzlipede and immediately fell in love with it, sadly he’s not in paldea so I’m hoping dlc will get him in

Shiny Buizel is my favorite little goober, I always name mine Lumina when I find him in a game, Illumi if it’s a girl. Been obsessed with buizel since I first saw it in the manaphy movie. I was only 5 back then but it’s always stuck with me as being such a cute and cool Pokémon. I always have my everstone ready to keep him perfect forever 🌊✨🤣

My favorite pokemon is shuckle because he's dumb in the good way to where he looks like theres no thoughts in his mind and his only thought is to make berry juice and another reason is that when I was like 5 I opened my brothers drawer and I saw a shuckle card in there so i took it and now he has become my favorite.

My favorite Pokemon is Latios, and this is due to my first ever true Pokemon experience was with Pokemon Heroes. I have always had a lack of patience so shiny hunting was never for me, until this game. But i doubt that you'll see outbreaks of shiny Latios randomly in Paldea lmao. Hopefully he gets confirmed in the DLC! Maybe i'll find it in me to hunt him.
Oooo wellll Dynamax adventures are pretty fun to do with friends and Latios can be found there in 1/100 odds. Maybe some DA’s can help you find it :3

It was malamar before sv, but then I saw tinkaton and fell in love. I didn't use her on my team though. I realized she was my favorite after I beat the game. I did that favorite pokemon picker again for Gen 9 and was flabbergasted that I liked her more. What can I say? BIG HAMMER. I haven't found her shiny yet. I've been distracted trying to masuda method a shiny hisuian zoroark, since that's my favorite shiny.
Tinkaton is super cool! really good choice! Malamar is a really really cool runner up, i'd say not a popular choice but thats awesome that it gets some love!

My favourites are Zoroark, Lycanroc (all forms), Umbreon, Sylveon, Primarina (she was mvp in all my battle on Ultra Sun) and Goodra (cause it has the best shiny)

Litwick and Snom come a close second.

I was actually trying to figure out my favorite pokemon when playing sw and sh but then s and v came out and i still couldnt figure it out untill i was able to go the the great crater of paldea amd discovered iron bundle i dont know what it is i just love him and his design
