Aussie here... I recently upgraded from my Elite 7 Pro to the new 10 and have to say its a big step in overall improvement. The soundstage from the 7 Pro to 10 is much wider and more dynamic in sound with increase from 6mm driver vs 11mm driver for wider soundstage. Very happy with the and the ANC is greatly improvement from my listening experience. Multipoint bluetooth is nice to. I use it seemlessly on Zoom and Team calls for work on my laptop and voice calls. Love it. Recommended.
Excellent review. You are so much better than other reviewers. I love how you use previous comparisons as I have the 75t and 85t elites. Awesome job 👏👍
I've had a pair of 75ts for 3 years or so. I also got a set of Beats studio buds, and my wife has Elite 7s. Nothing sounds as good as the 75t, their bass is just so much better. How to the 8s and 10s compare to the 75ts, knowing that the 75t's have exactly the sound I like.
Same here(Jabra Elite Active 75ts) about 3 years, although I find them to be just a bit to quiet for my liking, was curious how much of an upgrade the 10s would be. I'm sure with the bigger drivers the bass has to be better.
@@internetjunkie9574 agree that 75T could be a tad more loud. About the soundscape - I didn't test the Elite 10, but I'd presume the oval ear tips and semi-open construction would render them less bassy.
I owned Elite 75t for around 1.5 years and I have tried and heard both Elite 8 and 10. Elite 8 is too much bass for me (I am not a bass head) and the Elite 10's sound exceptional. They have a similar thump that was present in 75t whereas the bass of 8's is quite boomy and not thumpy
@Irfan_ah777 I also ended up snagging a pair of the Elite 10s recently, the bass is phenomenal, on certain songs it sounds like a couple 10s beautifuly responding in my ears. The overall sound is fantastic & a big upgrade from the 75ts IMO. As for the ANC it is incredible IMO, I do construction work & a lot of mowing to which these make it so much more tolerable. If anyone's reading this in consideration of buying a pair, pull the trigger & try them out!!
I bought the Elite 10s partially due to this video. It's been almost two months of use and I can safely say that the sound is amazing, it pairs with my Samsung S21 flawlessly and it works very well for running.
Don't be fooled. The 8's fit a lot more securely, but everyone's ears differ. I've tried them both and had to return the 10's because I kept having to fidget with them at the gym.
Gym and everything else im using airpods pro 2. Im interested in the jabra elite 10 tho, im an audiosnob somewhat. Have the sony wf500 i think theyre called, 70$ but sound quality is horrible, only good for podcasts.
I use my 85T mostly for work call and meeting, 70-75% of time for call and the rest for music and movies... Was thinking about upgrading to elite 10, but the noise cancelling for call doesn't impress me that much.. guess will wait for the next release
I'm very impressed with the ANC and sound improvements that Jabra have made. They were already my favorites on fit, but with the ANC and sound quality now, i bought the 8 Active and am not looking back.
I tried the 8 and the 10, and could not personally tell a difference in sound quality and ANC. I was pleasantly surprised by the retention of the 10's, but the slightly larger size did rub a spot on my outer ear. Comfort a problem I experienced with all other brands I tired except Jabra. The 75t and 7 pro never rubbed me the wrong way, and I never lost a bud. I reluctantly returned the 10's.
great review and I agree but have my own thoughts. Bought both Elite 10 and Technics AZ80 as was interested in trying both. Technics win in ANC by a little, transparency and sound by a lot as sound was more rich and transparency was amplified but they lose to Jabra in the fit. Now my priority is ANC/transparency and sound so that overcame the fit. Fit mainly was because Jabra's design fit better and the Technics are more bulky but switching foam tips vs stock silicone helped improved the fit. Jabra in the right direction as mainly introducing the higher codecs for better sound and working on that ANC/transparency combo and they should be good but this time, its the AZ80s for me.
Thank you! The AZ80 are arguably the earbuds of 2023, so that makes sense. Just seen Jabra announce some important updates and new features coming to the new Elite earbuds - so I’m looking forward to that and if they change anything!
i got the elite 10 and it's been pretty good. im not an audiophile so i'm not too critical of the details as others, but for work and entertainment it does the job and the anc is very very good when you're taking calls in a noisy environment.
Just got the 10s and i absolutely love them i keep putting my airpod pro 2 down alot more now i am curious about the 8 active for work bc i would love to not destroy the 10s right away
I have the elite 8 active and they are my go to buds amongst many these days and a nice upgrade for my 7 actives. Especially the lag when watching videos is considerably better but not totally gone. I wonder if I should get the elite 10 too, because anc is one of the most important features to me.
I bought both as I couldn't make my mind up, 10 sounds a bit richer and are my go to buds for calls, 8 active is not bad at all and comes with better ip rating.
@jannenyman1373 can you tell me what ppl mean by the bass difference? I mostly listen to podcasts and music but I am.not enough of an audiophile to know the difference. Is bass more important for those if so should I go for 8 because of its better bass?
One of the things I have noticed about the Elite 8 is that it does not sound like you are talking in a drum with them in your ears. I have not tried any of the others.
Great video ! I always feel like a tech dinosaur when I watch these videos, maybe one day I’ll figure it all out. But for me the sound and comfort is always the most important thing.
I'm considering to upgrade to 8 Active from 65t 1st gen and was curious about 2 things: Can you use each of the earbuds independently or there's a master earpiece? How far are they standing out of the ear compared to 10? I sleep in headphones and this is critical point for me.
Yes you can use either side independently. The 10s only stick out a tiny amount more than the 8 Active. I don't think either are good choices for sleeping though
By a complete bone headed accident, I ran my Elite 10s through the washer. They survived, but the sound was clogged for the first 48 hours. Now their sound is back to normal. So, I'm a believer that they're tough.
My Jabra 75t actives went through the wash twice over the years. Im just now having some charging issues with them. Theyre still functional but just don't charge all the time, needing to pull them out and put them back in to charge, and the case will need to be plugged in to charge. Concidering the 8 actives since my buds are 5 years old now, and my mistreatment has damaged them.
Thanks for the great review. I got the elite 10 and love the fit and Anc but the call quality in a noisy environment is just not good. I'm wondering if Jabra can fix this in an update or I might return them with sadness
It is definitely possible to make improvements with software updates...there's just sadly no way to know. Just gotta wait and see (or go for a different pair if you don't want to wait around hoping, of course!)
I have the elite 4 ang yes still a great experiencebon it i even accidentally wash in machine together with my clothesbut after still it works well sound quality is really great it doest hurt or makes tired in my ears
As you have them both, how do they perform outdoors in traffic or a windy day? 75Ts passively did an okay job. But with the open design, even with the ANC, can the 10s keep out the wind?
I did some testing for this ahead of the video but since there's a storm right now in the UK i'll take them out again tonight for some more testing and report back on my findings later today!
Traffic noise they're excellent with. As for wind, it's the same as with any pair of earbuds: the 'off' mode is better than 'ANC' mode for windy conditions. Any time you have the mics turned on, even if the wind noise rejection is really good, it's always going to be worse in the wind. I'd say they're fine, not especially good or bad in wind - but you'll probably want to turn off ANC in that instance. They passively block out a good amount (they're not exactly an 'open' design, it's like a hybrid semi/in-ear)
8 Active or Samsung Buds 2 Pro for taking calls and decent quality of music would be better. Getting Buds 2 Pro for half the price of Elite 10. Or should I go with completely different earbuds like Liberty Sound Core or maybe Momentum 4 wireless ?
I recently bought the Linkbuds S after I lost my Elite 7's, wish I waited for these, I found the ANC on the Elite 7 better than the Linkbuds already, not to mention the great touch controls of the Jabra.
Were you able to lay sideways on a pillo with Linkbuds S? I wonder if it's possible with the Elite 10's also... I like to chill with earbuds in sofa and atm only the Linkbuds S achieved good comfort while laying down.. Though these looks small enough to do fine also? Though I've got no scale, no comparison on size and shape..
I used to have the 75t active and are therefore inclined to get the elite 8 active because i actually like the round closed fit but very curious about the 10 pro due to better sounds and much bwtter design but how is that ovsl design? Does it feel like they are not secure and does it let wind in? I bike a lot so therefore would hate if the oval design lets wind in?
I personally find the fit is still very secure, even if it is slightly less so than the 8 Active. The design is more open so it's going to let more wind in than the 8 Active. Having said that I didn't find wind noise to be an issue with either one
I am using the Jabra Elite 10 , & like you, I too had a doubt regarding the wind noise, But after using it it feels better than my Jabra Elite Active 75t.
I'd personally go for Jabra's earbuds. I find them a lot more secure fitting for workouts than the LinkBuds S and they still sound great and have strong ANC
That's how good the ANC algorithm is. They're not completely semi-open anyway - traditionally semi-open designs don't have ear tips that go into the ear (these do). They're just not as tight-sealing as typical in-ear earbuds
I’m really bummed about the drop in mic quality. This is a huge miss as I use Jabras for listening and calls. I don’t think I could buy these knowing the dip in quality exists. And I’m a Jabra supporter
Is the Elite 10 a solid option also in a working environment for calls? I am not a big fan of those big over ear headphones when attending calls, and I don't like the fitting of Apple EarPods
Solid: yes. Perfect? No. There are some better earbuds out there for calls, but these are still pretty good i'd say. For how good the all-round performance is, i'm perfectly happy with the call performance
There are no perfect earbuds for work. You could try something with aggressive noise isolation if you plan to take calls in noisy work environments. 1More's EVO and the newer soundcore earbuds especially (like the Liberty 4) are very good for this
What was the set you said were the champ? Couldn't quite make it out on the cover. What do you think the best ear buds for calls in noisy environment are? There are great over the head sets for that, but if I have to use them a lot, they get painful.
Thank you! Well it's an on-going list that i'm constantly refining and updating - I just mention it to give context to regular viewers. I publish the top 3 in each category every year in a video called the 'earbuds awards' (and that's typically what i'm referencing). Happy to try and answer any questions about the rankings though if you have any!
I bought the Jabra Elite 10, and they were defective, with mufgled sounding audio. So I exchanged for the Elite 8 Active, which were similar to great fit and retention of my Jabra 7 Pro. I discovered the Elite 10 were even more comfortable, with seemingly as good retention. But the battery life of the Elite 8 Active means I'll keep them.
I got the Elite 10 recently. And I do like all the features and the sound quality. However the fit is horrible for my ears. The earbud always "thinks" that I took it out of my ear and it stops playing. Very annoying. Thinking if I get the Active 8 instead - as the Active 4 did fit perfectly.
I had the same issue, except it was with with the newest Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless ear buds. I couldn't get them to sit securely in my ears, no matter what I tried. I ended up getting some SonicFoam ear tips which are made from memory foam. They made a big difference to the fit, and also improved the sound. Apparently there are ones that fit the Jabra Elite 10's. Happy listening 😊 Sadly one of my Sennheisers stopped working, so the Elite 10 is my next go to!
Hi - Samsung wf-1000xm5 v/s jabra elite 10, which one do you suggest in terms of Sound quality and noise cancelling ?And price is not a constraint for me!
I'm looking for new earbuds for working out and running. I have yet to find earbuds (other than a pair I had several years ago that have wing tips but were not true wireless as they had a cable connecting the right/left earbuds) that securely stay in the ear and don't require readjusting every few minutes during a run or workout. My current pair, the Jabra Elite 75t Active, are ok but are not completely secure (they require readjustment in the ear every few minutes during workouts). Do the Elite 8 active have a much more secure fit compared to the Elite 75t Active? If so I might consider them. I really wish they would come out with a pair with wing tips as they provide a more secure fit.
The 8 Active fit is pretty comparable to the 75t Active really. Possible slightly better, but definitely not 'much more' secure. I'd also like to see a wing tip option
@@insidetechltdThe old Jabra Elite Active 65t earbuds had little wings & they stay in my ear perfectly. I'm about to buy the new 8 active and am really hoping they will stay put during jump roping!
I have the Elite 8 active since 4 weeks. I dipped my Airpods Pro for them. During workouts I always lost the Airpods Pro; the funny thing is: the more I sweat, the better the Elite 8 active will stay in my ear. The coating seems to get sticky with sweat.
Currently I'm using elite active 75t there is a lot of disturbance to opposite person while I'm on call, I need to upgrade I'm little bit confused whether to pick elite 8 or elite 10. I listen to music frequently and I need better call quality.
I feel like the elite 8 need a X-Large size ear tip want happy with them. The left one fell out a few times. The larger tips give better sound isolation and improved bass. If the tips aren’t snug enough you lose sound.
Hi! If you were to compare Liberty 4 and Elite Active 8 for sound quality, which would you pick? I really liked the Active 8's but their 6mm drivers create a hesitation for me, do they sound great?
I wouldn't pick based on driver size - i've heard smaller drivers far out perform larger ones before. I would say that Liberty 4 can have harsher treble, but if you tame it down then it offers better detail and punchier bass. So Soundcore wins for a more exciting and energetic sound quality
Could you please test the call quality again with the new update roling out at the moment, which should massive improve call quality and remove background voices and noises?
I definitely will. I'm literally finishing up my earbuds awards video for 2024 and have already assigned the call quality finalists, already recorded samples from Jabra...and now this update 😅 I'll update all the results and leave a pinned comment for this video too
@@insidetechltd I will be looking forward to it! I'm currently using the Poly Voyager Free and the Jabra Evolve2 buds, and I've been recording my calls with the news running in the background to see which performs best, and the are pretty equal over time I must say, but I'm looking for a headset that performs just 10% better so it can keep my colleagues out of my call when on the office 😅
Just finished another round of testing and, sadly, the update hasn't improved things a lot 😔 I think the isolation of your voice from louder background noise is perhaps a tiny bit better now, but not enough to have them rank even 1 place higher in my list. Unlike previous Jabra earbuds, they have a more aggressive background noise reduction, but it results in slightly distorting your voice. Older Jabra earbuds let in a bit more noise but they leave your voice sounding clearer and more natural (a bit louder too). So overall...the update might bring a small improvement, but ultimately doesn't change a lot
Thanks for the review. How is the volume though? I have different sets of Jabra earbuds with the loudest one being the Elite 4 active, but compared to other brands, Jabra is not even close on the volume.
It's hard to say really. I find these both get far too loud at max volume for listening. So I don't think there's any issue with the volume, nor any substantial difference from the Elite 4 Active
It's best on Beats - Apple's transparency mode is excellent. Elite 10 and 8 Active are much the same - arguably better on the 10 because they already don't seal your each as much due to the ergonomics
Beats Fit Pro arguably the better choice since they have the wingtip for stability. It means they aren't as good as 'normal' earbuds as the Jabra ones though. So if either of the Jabra ones stay put when running, i'd suggest them instead. Hard to know without testing the yourself - but the 8 Active fit more securely for running than the Elite 10
@@insidetechltd Well I do have a pair of sony headphones for home use, so I don't really need 'normal' earbuds Anyway, the Airpods 4 ANC have also caught my attention. I've used my friends Airpods 3 before which worked great for running, but the lack of ANC was a dealbreaker. I take short bus rides regularly and prefer to carry earbuds over headphones. I do need new running earbuds ASAP so I'll probably get the Beats, which are currently pretty darn cheap, but may spring for the Airpods 4 ANC if they are any good. Thanks for your insights anyway, I appreciate the in depth reviews. Looking forward to seeing your Airpods 4 review
I have 75t, it works so excellent. But the left earbuds is no sound after 1 song, tried all the way to fix it but still not working. It last around 3 years....not sure the sound of elite 10, is it better than 75t? A lot of comments said that 75t still beats elite 10.
Jabra has frequent issues with the left earbud not working. Not seen many issues with the new 10 and 8 Active earbuds. I'd be surprised if the majority think the 75t is still better than the 10. There are significant improvements with the new model
Hi, I have small ears. The elite 75t were perfect and had good sounds. What do you think will be the best option for me? Do the elite 10 fit small ears too? Is the sound a big difference?
I think the 8 Active fit and feel closer to the old 75t fit. The Elite 10 are ok for small ears, not the best option. The sound difference isn't massive, no
You can in the sense that the IP rating would protect them (up to 1.5 metres). But don't forget that bluetooth doesn't work underwater so it's not a good idea
Fantastic review, thank you for all the valuable information. After using many TWS, my number one priority has become comfort, so the Elite 10 seem like a very interesting option.
Great video 👍 I am planing to buy one of these but the way that they fit in ear is my biggest concern. My question is about fitting ear , Would u say that Jebra 8 smillar to AirPod pro and jebra 10 smillar to AirPod ? (I only used those earbuds ) Thank you
Elite 10 has similar ip rating of 57 as the elite 7 active, I believe almost similar battery life as well. Took a shower, shampoo my hair, ran and train in rainy weather, after 2 years, the battery life(anc on) degraded on my left side more than the right. After 2 hours usage my left is at ~15% while right is ~45%. -How would you fare 7 active against 10 for sport in terms of sound and secure snug fit under the conditions like mentioned above? (ignore my shampoo, I won't be doing it on this expensive earbuds, I got my 7 active for dirt cheap with huge discount) Will azla sednaearfit make them 10 as snug fit as 7 active? -Is there any battery life imbalance issue for either active 8 or 10 gen 1? Meaning the battery life on left and right doesn't reduce(not degrade) similarly (of withing 10% range of each other, I am aware battery drainage will be more on the first earbuds taken out of the casing hence imbalance) Thanks in advance
Quick question: I mainly use my/any mobile headphones for Audiobooks. Would you say the 8 or 10 would be better for listening to Audiobook during work/walks?
Honestly...no significant difference at all for that. I'd instead look for other factors to narrow down your choice because I wouldn't say either is better in particular for audiobooks 👍🏼
Unfortunately, Jabras call quality has NEVER been good. It's historically been awful. They claim it's been massively improved since the 7 pro but the reviews on Amazon show the true story. Everyone bags on the call quality. I've had several pairs of jabras and every one of them is horrendous in call quality, from the 75t, 85t, and 7 pros. Otherwise great review!
There is almost no difference in call quality between Jabra Elite 10 and Airpods Pro 2. I tried the Jabra Elite 10 and elite 8 active indoors, while walking outside, and also on a windy day. I talked on the phone and everyone understood me very well. The conversations were very clear.
Thank you! Yes, could be a QC issue. 8 definitely doesn't seem right. Could also be a volume difference if the 8's were tested with a much louder volume, perhaps ANC was left on too...depends on how they tested 🤷
Thank you for your great review. Did you have a chance to compare Elite 8 Active and Elite 4 Active? I switched to the latter from Elite 7 Pro as Actives gave me significantly better sound, I think due to aptx codec. So now I'm hesitant if Elite 8 will sound better without the codec.
I certainly did and you raise a really interesting point. I also have my Elite 4 ranked slightly higher than the 7 Pro for sound quality - and I believe it's more than just the codecs too, but a tuning and/or driver improvement. A simple test is to listen on an iPhone (which forces AAC and can't use aptX) and it sounds better still. People just assume the more expensive or 'high-end' model must have better sound...but that's not necessarily the case and exactly why I test everything out! Also, the 8 Active and 10 are both a significant step up from the 4 - codecs or not. I think you'll notice the difference!
Can't say - I didn't face any broken mic issues with my units so I can't describe it as being 'fixed'. I can tell you that the new mics are working for me on these new models though
Sorry for comment about another earbuds. If u have the Huawei freebuds 5i and the soundcore liberty 4NC for the same price, what would u buy being the priorities the ANC and fit (I want them for gym)? Can u compare the 2 in terms of ANC? Hope u answer. Thanks
LinkBuds S have superior call quality, better control features (e.g. quick attention and speak-to-chat) and better sound than the 8 Active. Otherwise the Jabra earbuds win. They're both far better than Buds 2 though - the only thing i'd say for Buds 2 is that they're quite comfortable
@@insidetechltdis link bud s or elite 8 active the better buy? Is price increase of elite 8 than link bud s worth it?? I plan to use under the rain, want really secure ear fit and use at gym too. I feel buds 2 isnt that secure in ear and feels like falling out especially with sweaty ears. Which of the two has better ear comfort and secure grip?
I would say the LinkBuds S offer better value for money overall. But if gym use is important to you it's probably worth spending extra on the Jabra earbuds. I personally find they fit a lot more securely than linkbuds, so that would seal the deal for me
@@insidetechltd thanks for the suggestion! Linkbuds sound quality is better than elite 8? Does linkbud case has any water protection? So personally which would you prefer getting? Just wondering
Yes, it does have better sound quality. The case has no water protection. I would personally get LinkBuds S out of the two, I like the controls a lot and wouldn't want them for gym use - so they'd be better for me
No it's for both and should appear in the app. Maybe check which features you have displayed in the app because you can customise this and might have it un-checked
@@insidetechltd I’ve checked through all the settings and discover tab. It’s not in the “edit widget” option either. I’ve updated my phone and made sure the app was up to date 😭😭 but nothing.
Honestly, it depends on your ear shape - I can't guarantee they will fit your ears well. I can run with them on a treadmill and bike with them, but they might not securely for you
Oh boy, I really hope Jabra fixes the mic quality in a future update. I myself am a Jabra fan (on the Elite 7 at the moment) but call quality can make or break an earbud, lets be honest; everyone uses earbuds to make calls and being on the receiving end of bad audio is always horrible! But, and i'm sure they will work on this especially since Jabra is a major company in the calling world, I would even go to say that's their main focus is in calling. At this point of time I'm jealous to not have one but will consider of purchasing the 10's around Black Friday/Cyber Monday or holiday season if there's a significant drop in price (which they usually will do). As always, excellent review and extremely informative! Thank you! PS. I miss your unboxing shorts 😂
You're right, Jabra's main focus is in calling. But maybe it wasn't for these particular earbuds 🤷♂️ Hopefully they'll release some software updates. Thanks a lot though! And good to know about the shorts. I don't get a lot of feedback on those, so that's interesting - i'll do some more in future! Should have one later today when my iPhone 15 Pro turns up!
@@insidetechltdI'm thinking of buying the 8 Active but the call quality made me hesitate. I don't know how long you will keep these buds but if you keep them long enough to get a firmware update, can you please let us know if the call quality has improved.
@@chrisahlund Of course I will! I'm sure there will be other opportunities where they feature on the channel too, and I can talk about any of the software updates in those videos too. I'll keep looking out for updates for now 👍🏼
I have the 8 and 5. I think 5 sounds better especially when I checked developer options and noticed the 5 transmits more info than the 8. Also Dolby audio doesn't work for me on Android... Jabra support said it only works on Dolby content... What deceptive marketing
It's accessible in the sense that everyone can use it, but it doesn't amplify sound in the way that a hearing aid would. It doesn't make your surroundings easier to hear than not wearing the earbuds at all
Trying to decide between the 8 or 10 as I work out but also do a lot of flying for work so then being secure in the ear and ANC is a big thing, If anyone’s got any feedback that would be wicked?
Really tough to say since everyone's ears are different but I think the 8 Active offer a slightly more secure fit, and the ANC difference isn't so massive either
Thank you very much for your videos, they are a great help in my search for wireless headphones. I'm still a bit lost in the competition, I'm looking for wireless headphones for everyday life, with good sound quality because I really enjoy music, but also a good fit for when I'm doing sports. I don't want to spend too much on these headphones either, as I'm a student, but I'm willing to pay the price for quality. Would you have any models to recommend or any advice on my choice? (I have a Samsung phone)
You're welcome! Well I have videos detailing the very best headphones on the market like the earbuds awards (ua-cam.com/video/FY7GlcTO2Ls/v-deo.html) but I guess the first thing is you need to set your budget. How much are you willing to spend? If you set a price limit, you can start to narrow down your options
Ok so you could try Technics AZ60, OnePlus Buds Pro 2 or Sony's LinkBuds S - they all have great sound quality and at least an IPX4 rating for sports use. I can't say how well each of those would fit your particular ear shape though - it's a matter of trial and error. These would all be good options as everyday earbuds as well. Alternatively if you prioritised sports use instead: Sennheiser's Sport earbuds offer wingtips for a secure fit and they also sound really good. These Jabra Elite 8 Active could also fit the bill (although would push you up to the $200 limit).
I’ve had my 85t for almost a year and it’s a great fit (my mom got for free to so even betta) I would like to see how these compare 1v1 against the newer models tho
In all honesty I probably won't get time to do a dedicated video on that beyond the comparisons already made here. But if you want to know how they compare in any specific areas, feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to help!
I can tell u I've been a jabra fan from the beginning but they lost me with the 85t I returned them right away they just seemed big to me for a jabra product I just got the elite 10s tho and they are absolutely amazing in my opinion fit is amazing and anc and sound quality is great
Ok, I think I'll get a pair of the Elite 10, even though I am waiting for the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 coming soon to replace my Freebuds Pro 2 which has been my daily driver unbeatable by any other buds.
Hello Friend, what will be your recommendation between the Elite 7 active ($104) and the Elite 8 active ($159). do your think it worth the extra money and go for the E8A instead to get advantage of the sale price of the E7A. I am using them for everything, workout (running, weights), at the office for conference calls and at home for music/movies. I am open to other recommendations different of the ones I mentioned. TY for your help.
Even though there’s a nice price gap there, I would actually say to go for the 8 Active. There’s a really decent step up in sound quality and noise cancellation. Alternatively you could look at other brands - I’ve got plenty of earbud videos on the channel!
Excellent review. You are so much better than other reviewers. I love how you use previous comparisons as I have the 75t and 85t elites.
Awesome job 👏👍
That's really great to hear, thank you! 👊🏼
Hows the fit of 10s compared to 75ts active?
Very good review, not as biased as other reviews (which mostly resemble commercials for the product).
Thank you!
I bought the Elite 10s partially due to this video. It's been almost two months of use and I can safely say that the sound is amazing, it pairs with my Samsung S21 flawlessly and it works very well for running.
I love to hear it!

Hopefully mine will come today.
How is the base
Don't be fooled. The 8's fit a lot more securely, but everyone's ears differ. I've tried them both and had to return the 10's because I kept having to fidget with them at the gym.
I love the ANC on the 10s.. They're my go to for travel and commuting to work.. For the gym it's the Beats fit Pro.
Gym and everything else im using airpods pro 2.
Im interested in the jabra elite 10 tho, im an audiosnob somewhat.
Have the sony wf500 i think theyre called, 70$ but sound quality is horrible, only good for podcasts.
Hello bro! And what’s about noice canceling ? It’s same or feel difference ?

@@io_metre whatever you say
I use my 85T mostly for work call and meeting, 70-75% of time for call and the rest for music and movies... Was thinking about upgrading to elite 10, but the noise cancelling for call doesn't impress me that much.. guess will wait for the next release
There won't be a next one
The anc is adjusted automatically depending on the surroundings. Is there anyway to have it on max manually?
I use jabra 8 active and it has really good sound and ANC. Also, it does not fall out of the ear and does not cause any discomfort.
@footbollpro not yet. Hopefully a January update. Sharp spunds do slip through before anc takes hold
great review and I agree but have my own thoughts.
Great review! Really liked the 10s but they would not stay in my ears and one bud had connection issues. Trying the 8s next.
Thanks a lot! Good luck with the 8s - let us know if they work better
Do they fit better?
i got the elite 10 and it's been pretty good. im not an audiophile so i'm not too critical of the details as others, but for work and entertainment it does the job and the anc is very very good when you're taking calls in a noisy environment.
Just got the 10s and i absolutely love them i keep putting my airpod pro 2 down alot more now i am curious about the 8 active for work bc i would love to not destroy the 10s right away
Great video format!! So much information!
Thanks a lot!
I have the elite 8 active and they are my go to buds amongst many these days and a nice upgrade for my 7 actives. Especially the lag when watching videos is considerably better but not totally gone. I wonder if I should get the elite 10 too, because anc is one of the most important features to me.
Do it!
I bought both as I couldn't make my mind up, 10 sounds a bit richer and are my go to buds for calls, 8 active is not bad at all and comes with better ip rating.
@@jannenyman1373 which one has stronger bass, elite 8 active or elite 10
@jannenyman1373 can you tell me what ppl mean by the bass difference? I mostly listen to podcasts and music but I am.not enough of an audiophile to know the difference. Is bass more important for those if so should I go for 8 because of its better bass?
These chaps reviews are God-tier. Brittant stuff, mate
I appreciate it, thank you 🙌🏼
One of the things I have noticed about the Elite 8 is that it does not sound like you are talking in a drum with them in your ears. I have not tried any of the others.
Great video ! I always feel like a tech dinosaur when I watch these videos, maybe one day I’ll figure it all out. But for me the sound and comfort is always the most important thing.
Thanks a lot!
I'm considering to upgrade to 8 Active from 65t 1st gen and was curious about 2 things:
Can you use each of the earbuds independently or there's a master earpiece?
How far are they standing out of the ear compared to 10? I sleep in headphones and this is critical point for me.
Yes you can use either side independently. The 10s only stick out a tiny amount more than the 8 Active. I don't think either are good choices for sleeping though
good quality review video. deserves more subs and views.
btw just got the elite 10s, really happy so far
Thank you very much, glad you like them!

By a complete bone headed accident, I ran my Elite 10s through the washer. They survived, but the sound was clogged for the first 48 hours. Now their sound is back to normal. So, I'm a believer that they're tough.
Wow, nice!
@@insidetechltd Honestly, I was already preparing to use that as my excuse to buy the new Elite 10 Gen 2. lol..
Hey brother, glad you're enjoying the Elite 10s. How does the music sound? That's what I pretty much only care for.
Great review, thank you for the insights
Thanks a lot!
8 Active or Samsung Buds 2 Pro for taking calls and decent quality of music would be better. Getting Buds 2 Pro for half the price of Elite 10. Or should I go with completely different earbuds like Liberty Sound Core or maybe Momentum 4 wireless ?
simple question, which one goes into your ear to the point of hearing the bass in your head? (and play EDM better?)?
The Elite 8 Active sit deeper in your ears, so you might get a better bass seal with those
Which earbuds support hiress\loseless audio quality from supported android phones?
Thanks for the review.
Honestly, there are lots of them now. Any other criteria for earbuds to narrow it down?
@@insidetechltd
Just losseless/ high quality sound + excellent mic, i don't care about ANC.
I recently bought the Linkbuds S after I lost my Elite 7's, wish I waited for these, I found the ANC on the Elite 7 better than the Linkbuds already, not to mention the great touch controls of the Jabra.
Buy both!
I am inclined to do the same, since I like the fit of my elite 7 pros. Did you end up trying either option?
I'm still sticking to the 85T elite model, which is excellent.
One of the most underrated earbuds of all time
Hey bud should i buy the linkbuds s or the jabra elite 8 active ?
I need a overall worklife+workout buds. I want good anc and good sound quality .
I'd personally go for Jabra's earbuds. I find them a lot more secure fitting for workouts than the LinkBuds S and they still sound great and have strong ANC
@@insidetechltd thx a lot mate
Can it be used as a hearing aid for mild hearing loss? If yes, how good is it?
How are the Elite 10 semi-open, but also offering superior noise isolation? That seems like a contradiction.

Yes, it's a real shame 😕
Is the Elite 10 a solid option also in a working environment for calls? I am not a big fan of those big over ear headphones when attending calls, and I don't like the fitting of Apple EarPods
Solid: yes. Perfect? No. There are some better earbuds out there for calls, but these are still pretty good i'd say. For how good the all-round performance is, i'm perfectly happy with the call performance
@@insidetechltd thanks. But which earbuds do you recommend instead to have a perfect experience for work ?
There are no perfect earbuds for work. You could try something with aggressive noise isolation if you plan to take calls in noisy work environments. 1More's EVO and the newer soundcore earbuds especially (like the Liberty 4) are very good for this
What was the set you said were the champ? Couldn't quite make it out on the cover.
What do you think the best ear buds for calls in noisy environment are? There are great over the head sets for that, but if I have to use them a lot, they get painful.

I've only ever tried the 85t, what ones does everyone recommend? I only use these for in home or the gym/running. Thanks

Excited when I bought the Elite 10’s. They do not stay in my ears consistently though. I’m stuck with them now
I had the same issue, except it was with with the newest Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless ear buds. I couldn't get them to sit securely in my ears, no matter what I tried. I ended up getting some SonicFoam ear tips which are made from memory foam. They made a big difference to the fit, and also improved the sound. Apparently there are ones that fit the Jabra Elite 10's. Happy listening 😊
Sadly one of my Sennheisers stopped working, so the Elite 10 is my next go to!
Hi - Samsung wf-1000xm5 v/s jabra elite 10, which one do you suggest in terms of Sound quality and noise cancelling ?And price is not a constraint for me!
Sound quality: Sony. Noise cancelling: Jabra

Currently I'm using elite active 75t there is a lot of disturbance to opposite person while I'm on call, I need to upgrade I'm little bit confused whether to pick elite 8 or elite 10. I listen to music frequently and I need better call quality.
No obvious difference in the call quality but the Elite 10 have better sound. So I’d go for those
I feel like the elite 8 need a X-Large size ear tip want happy with them.
@@insidetechltd thanks for your fast testing and reply 👍 I was about to buy a pair tomorrow but maybe I will reconsider 🤔
How would you rank the transparency mode between the Elite 8, Elite 10 and Beats Fit Pro?
It's best on Beats - Apple's transparency mode is excellent. Elite 10 and 8 Active are much the same - arguably better on the 10 because they already don't seal your each as much due to the ergonomics
@@insidetechltd Thanks. I'm looking into which pair to buy mainly for running and all 3 buds seem rock solid...
@@insidetechltd Well I do have a pair of sony headphones for home use, so I don't really need 'normal' earbuds
Anyway, the Airpods 4 ANC have also caught my attention.

The sound difference isn't massive, no
Can you go swimming with the jabra 8 active?
You can in the sense that the IP rating would protect them (up to 1.5 metres). But don't forget that bluetooth doesn't work underwater so it's not a good idea

(ignore my shampoo, I won't be doing it on this expensive earbuds, I got my 7 active for dirt cheap with huge discount)
Will azla sednaearfit make them 10 as snug fit as 7 active?
-Is there any battery life imbalance issue for either active 8 or 10 gen 1?
Meaning the battery life on left and right doesn't reduce(not degrade) similarly (of withing 10% range of each other, I am aware battery drainage will be more on the first earbuds taken out of the casing hence imbalance)
Thanks in advance
Quick question: I mainly use my/any mobile headphones for Audiobooks. Would you say the 8 or 10 would be better for listening to Audiobook during work/walks?

Unfortunately, Jabras call quality has NEVER been good. It's historically been awful. They claim it's been massively improved since the 7 pro but the reviews on Amazon show the true story. Everyone bags on the call quality.
I've had several pairs of jabras and every one of them is horrendous in call quality, from the 75t, 85t, and 7 pros.
Otherwise great review!
They changed that with the elite 10. Call quality was crisp and clear
people on the other side of my call often say that I sounded distant or muffled. Tried several times resetting and pairing again but it never works.
There is almost no difference in call quality between Jabra Elite 10 and Airpods Pro 2. I tried the Jabra Elite 10 and elite 8 active indoors, while walking outside, and also on a windy day. I talked on the phone and everyone understood me very well. The conversations were very clear.
I can't get the Elite Active 75t to work 😢
I lost mine few days ago and now looking for some upgrades
Good video! DHRME found the elite 10 to have 12.5hr and the elite 8 to have only 10hr. Strange. QC control?
Thank you!
Yes, could be a QC issue. 8 definitely doesn't seem right. Could also be a volume difference if the 8's were tested with a much louder volume, perhaps ANC was left on too...depends on how they tested 🤷
DHRME got it wrong. They have put a comment admitting their mistake.
So, If I want a clear, crisp and with bass sound should I go for Elite 10 or 8 active?
Elite 10 - but it's fairly close!
My microphone broke on the 7 pro, turned out of was a common problem. Has this been fixed on these new ones?
Can't say - I didn't face any broken mic issues with my units so I can't describe it as being 'fixed'. I can tell you that the new mics are working for me on these new models though
Sorry for comment about another earbuds. If u have the Huawei freebuds 5i and the soundcore liberty 4NC for the same price, what would u buy being the priorities the ANC and fit (I want them for gym)?

How does jabra elite 8&10 compares to sony link bud s?
And are these 2 jabras far better than samsung buds 2?
I would personally get LinkBuds S out of the two, I like the controls a lot and wouldn't want them for gym use - so they'd be better for me
I’m confused, is the dolby feature only working on android devices? I can’t find the option to enable it on my iPhone on the jabra app.
No it's for both and should appear in the app. Maybe check which features you have displayed in the app because you can customise this and might have it un-checked
@@insidetechltd I’ve checked through all the settings and discover tab. It’s not in the “edit widget” option either. I’ve updated my phone and made sure the app was up to date 😭😭 but nothing.
hello i have airpods pro 2. do you think i should return it and buy jabra elite 10? basses in airpods did not satisfy me. what is your suggestion?
Jabra Elite 10 are excellent, and I'm sure you'll find the bass response much better!
Would you say Jabra Elite 10 is okay for bike to work ? and maybe running on a trenchmill ? Cant figure out! what active does better :D
Honestly, it depends on your ear shape - I can't guarantee they will fit your ears well. I can run with them on a treadmill and bike with them, but they might not securely for you
@@insidetechltd thanks man!
Hello...
Is ambient sound accessible for hearing impaired people? What is hearing sensitivity like?
It's accessible in the sense that everyone can use it, but it doesn't amplify sound in the way that a hearing aid would. It doesn't make your surroundings easier to hear than not wearing the earbuds at all
My active 75T recently died on me and looking for upgrade..should i get active 8 or elite 10?
The 8 Active is a more direct upgrade from the 75t 👍🏼
If you set a price limit, you can start to narrow down your options
i think under 200, and like, no 199, but at least 20$ under@@insidetechltd
@@insidetechltd OK thank you very very much !
I’ve had my 85t for almost a year and it’s a great fit (my mom got for free to so even betta)
I would like to see how these compare 1v1 against the newer models tho
In all honesty I probably won't get time to do a dedicated video on that beyond the comparisons already made here. But if you want to know how they compare in any specific areas, feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to help!
I can tell u I've been a jabra fan from the beginning but they lost me with the 85t I returned them right away they just seemed big to me for a jabra product I just got the elite 10s tho and they are absolutely amazing in my opinion fit is amazing and anc and sound quality is great
Ok, I think I'll get a pair of the Elite 10, even though I am waiting for the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 coming soon to replace my Freebuds Pro 2 which has been my daily driver unbeatable by any other buds.
very detailed review. thank you\
Thank you!
@@insidetechltd Thank you, what will be your recommendation in the $150 range?
