Before watching, I looked at her and thought that she may look nice in a soft yellow. And she absolutely does. Rarely seen anyone look so radiant in a soft yellow and orange like this. Beautiful ❤
Thanks to you lovely customer for agreeing to be in UA-cam! It was an amazing example of the power of the color.bWarm soft colors make her look a lot younger and happier! I love her smile when she likes the color on her
Wow as a Soft Autumn myself i loved seeing her glow in that soft khai green and golden soft yellow! her eyes popped as soon as I saw her with the green at the intensity test at the start and wondered if she is a soft autumn! It was amazing how self aware she was that bright colours aren't for her! When i figured out i was a soft autumn and got colour analysed professionally I completely guessed my sub season right! It seems us Soft Autumns know the colours that don't work for us such as those bright and cool colours and we can see how much the Softness is our main characteristic! wonderful video Sarah 😍🙌 its quite rare to see online a Soft Autumn get analysed so I loved seeing it happen for this beautiful sweet lady!
This is one of the best videos in both example and explanation for the dominant characteristic of softness before warmth. She simply glowed in that soft yellow-gold and pumpkiney? orange. I love my palette, but I feel a little envy over Jane's best colors. :)
Wonderful, as usual! Also agree with comment below, it was so good to witness a client who could see the colour effects on herself. She clearly has a good eye for it. A remarkably clear result, expertly arrived at.
I think Jane has the best eye for color coming from a client of a color analysis session that I've ever seen! You barely had to explain anything to her, she immediately noticed all the changes. Love it. 😊
Oh my the pinks are the worst enemies for the warm seasons! When everyone was raving about cool toned pink blushes is when i've realised how ill make me look 😂😂😂 and i have an warm undertone! The client look healthy in warm colours , i believe she is the Autumn season like me because she has soft features! True Autumn here 🍂
Good analysis! I immediately thought she would have her dominant trait as "soft" before you tried the temperatures. It was not immediately translating onto my computer screen, but as you continued with the draping it became more and more defined. Soft Autumn for the win!
Thank you so much Sarah for this wonderful colour analysis session, I really enjoyed it. I have always gravitated to autumn colours and now I know exactly the ones to shop for and have my palette to help me. Some lovely comments also, thanks to all.
Hi Sarah. Thanks for another excellent colour draping video. I especially enjoyed seeing a wider selection of colours pertaining to the sub group of a season and I hope we will see more of it in future videos. It's so helpful to get a fuller grasp of the colours and how they relate. 😊
Jane this color palette is stunning. And it was very obvious which colors matched you. I have yet to get my colors done, but fall is the colors I am drawn to most. Soft autumn is absolutely stunning in my opinion. 🥰🥰🥰 Thank you Jane for sharing your analysis with us. 💗💗💗
Excellent example. I could see her warmth immediately on my monitor, but it turned out not to be the most important characteristic, which is yet more proof that it's not good enough just to look at someone and tell them what colours to wear.
I loved this video! Your client is lovely. It was so interesting to see that temperature wasn’t the dominant characteristic and to see how all of the colours looked on her. Thank you!
I'm so surprised! With how obvious you both felt her warmth was in the beginning, i thought the warmth would be her dominant characteristic for sure. Then of course the drapes show how certain the softness was. What a fun reveal. Thank you! Side note. I aspire to be as confident in what i like for myself as she is. Lol.
Great video thank you! Initially I thought your client was a summer like me, but it was lovely to see the conclusion. Really enjoyable. The Marine navy was exquisite.
Pulling a fast one as usual, Sarah! 😛 Thought she would be a warm palette with a warm undertone being so clear, but she wasn’t! I was recently analyzed as a soft autumn in HoC, and my analyst had to go through two rounds of colors before she was sure I was warm. It was really hard to tell!
As always, a lovely video. So informative and educational. I was so happy that you told us that the most important thing to look for in her was the tone (softness) and not her temperature, that is so key and interesting.
Awesome, another colour analysis. They are always so interesting because you never can really be sure before the draping. I wonder: as you grow older, does only the intensity change or do you get slightly cooler or warmer as well?
Wow this was so so helpful to hear such a straightforward analysis and also keepong it simple. It was lovely that you gave her space to recognise it for herself, she has such a great instinct and it was so clear once youd gone through all the sequences to compare.. also really great to see the vitality and glow in someone older with grey hair, its so so helpful to see that it really is about skin tone and not features like hair or eyebrows which can confuse things sometimes. Thanks to the lovely model and for the simplicity of this one, super helpful.. and lovely to see the swatches at the end as well ❤
I guessed soft summer (which was a close second) at first but I agree she looks gorgeous in those muted warm colours. I wish I looked good in that pumpkin orange but it's just not a great shade on me!
I wish the number and range / variety of the color samples would be larger, only 4 colors for soft autumn is very little. I felt like they were still all too dark and saturated. There are a lot of colors that are similar to soft summer but warmer, I would appreciate very much to see more of those.
I understand. You can see more Soft Autumn colours in the full draping at the end. The sample of 4 is a sample. Otherwise the analysis would be 4hrs long 😅
Love this analysis and the way you recap the analysis with her. She looks radiant in her colours. At the very end, you put all her Wow colours on her shoulder, are they all soft autumn? Or some are from other sub-seasons?
Hi Sarah, I love the colours you use for soft autumn, do you sell colour swatches/pallets? I find many SA pallets , for want of a better word, insipid??.
It's interesting I didn't think her skin looked that warm, to me it looked on the cool side. Yet the warm colors did really work... so was her skin really warm and just looked on the cool pale side to me?
@@sarahryanthestylecoach for foundation I always need the lightest color and all foundation has too much yellow in for me. I need cool tone toward the pink. I presume this means I am a cool season?
What is Jane's natural colouring? Hey eyes look light, but could be hazel, I guess. He hair looks to be highlighted and on the ashy side? I ask, because I'm a blue-eyed redhead (yep, we exist!!) over here just floating in outer space because no one will let me in their club 😭 I feel like I am an Autumn, and likely a deep Autumn at that (with lots of DW crossover). BUT.... I am more strawberry blonde, and like many redheads, my hair has chameleon-like features and is sometimes almost white blonde and almost auburn at others. But I 'can't' have any DW because my hair is too light, and I can't be DA because blue eyes, light hair, blah, blah! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ My Irish genes are biting my butt! I think all the colour analysis systems kinda forgot about the Celts 😢 We need a whole separate system!!! 😂 👩🏻🦰
I believe i will look more like this lady as i age. Im 54 now. Natural strawberry blonde, teal-colored eyes, warm pink/peachy skin... I was ananyzed online five years ago when i had my hair dyed very light blonde and i was wearing make up. She analyzed me as bright, cool and light. Now im letting my natural hair grow out and not wearing make up. Ive bought SO many clothes in five years. I get very frustrated trying to figure my season out. I KNOW for sure now that i am NOT any kind of winter. The colors are too bright. Spring is better. I think its due to the warmth in the colors. The warmth brings the glow out. Im going through summer colors currently. This is my second year doing this with my natural color hair, no make up. Mint green looks really good. Creamy looks good. Coral looks good. A lot of my medium blues are looking awful once again on me. Black and pure white are too harsh on me.... I have much to try on again. Most would look at me and say "Summer", but that cant be true... I have a couple totes of Autumn clothing. Im not dark, so i know im not DEEP autumn. Im looking at Soft Autumn or Warm Autumn, but i lean more toward Soft Autumn right now... Just not sure. The video was fun to watch. Great teamwork, ladies!!
Wow I'm surprised someone analysed you with makeup on. I only work with people without makeup, otherwise the results can be inaccurate. If you want to know for sure, you know where to come :) Thanks for watching!
I couldn’t see a difference in temperature at all. Maybe I am more used to how cool undertone people react to colors than warm undertones 🙃 I didn’t saw a huge difference between warm or cold undertones. I didn’t saw her skin or lips change color or be more lively with warm colors (in gold and silver she was a little lifeless in silver than gold). In some people you have color analysed it was a huge difference, one turned yellow in warm undertones the other turned blue and lifeless in cool undertones. She came more neutral for me 🤦🏻♀️🤣🥴
The warmth is there although it turned out it wasn’t a dominant characteristic so I can understand if it wasn’t obvious, especially through the screen 💕☺️
The cool colors made her look gray, with various redness and patchiness too. But I saw a lot of cutting in the video so I am suspicious that the lighting was tinkered with to exaggerate the effect.
I love how self-aware she was of which colors looked good on her!
Very much so! Jane has a good eye! ☺️
Before watching, I looked at her and thought that she may look nice in a soft yellow. And she absolutely does. Rarely seen anyone look so radiant in a soft yellow and orange like this. Beautiful ❤

Wow, I didn't expect a colour session video so quickly but that's a good thing. Congratulations on your solo business woman of the year award too! 😊
Thank you so much!! ☺️
My favourite colour analyses to watch are those where the person has a very different season to me. Loved this!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This lady looked lovely in her warm season colours 😊❤️🇬🇧
She really does!
This client is so beautiful! And as a fellow soft autumn, it's so lovely to see someone truly come to life in these muted colours.
I totally agree!
You and Jane are adorable! Such a great session. So very educational. Thank you for being so clear and thorough.

It's one thing to see their eyes and face literally light up when their colours 'change' them, but when that smile lights up, too ❤ Chef's kiss!
Exactly 😀💕
