BEST PLACE TO SHOP IN THAILAND | TEMPLE MARKET | FEED A FAMILY FOR $40 A WEEK (2018)

Best place to shop in Thailand with fresh local food we found to be Temple Market. Market meets twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday and over those two days we can feed a family of two adults and three children ages 7, 9 and 10 for $40 a week with super fresh and quality foods.
The kids watched live fish gasping for air being killed, scales scraped off and gutted. It made them understand where food comes from and was a great life lesson. (We didn't film it as didn't want to cause offence and it was tough for us to watch.)
If you want to travel but don't know how to afford to make sure to visit a Temple Market in Thailand. The one we visited was in Takiab near Hua His and was full of lovely kind people, monks and amazing backdrops.
Flexigirl Liberty Barros is up to her usual tricks on Temple steps and this is definitely a top place to do contortion. We made sure to ask the monks prior so as not to cause disrespect.
