I'm working along the west side of the property trying to get the Perimeter trail lined out and all the main brush out of the way. This trail is so long for one person to handle. I just keep pushing forward hoping to get it to the point I can start riding the Rokon on it to help pack it in. This entire trail will be so amazing when it's complete.
Wow, the music volume is very low. It seemed much louder on my video editor. 😕
Music volume seems the same for me, talking and music same same 🤷🏼♂️
@@ToddNZMTB cool, maybe it's just me worrying again. 😟
None of this is ever boring, relax and take your time...great lookin' trails.
Sir, you are always too kind. Thank you. I appreciate it very much
Wow! You're a machine. If I lived in the states I'd be right there with you, digging those trails. Keep up the great work. By the way, none of your videos are boring.
Wow, I really appreciate that. It is so good to hear comments like this. It's tough to stay motivated at times. A comment like this goes a long ways. I wish you lived closer so you could swing by from time to time. I could always use a bit more help. Thanks again.
That looks fun, especially all the rock features 🎉 I’m game for adventure trails, even hike-a-bike! Great work and what an amazing property
Thank you, I think these Rick features are going to be so much fun. Looks like the weather is going to be a challenge for me to get back up and finish the trail. I really can't wait to test it out.
Looking mega mate !!! Keep the videos coming love them !!
You need a tunnel ride with a under over
Thanks, I will keep em rolling. I would love to have a tunnel somewhere. We do have the bridge that you can ride over and under.
some gnar & roll workz 👍🏼
For sure. Gotta have a million of em'.
Thx. Was there last month for 8 days but I was just working on my place.
Always work to be done
Looks great lots of work Trail Building is way more work then you think !! Right !!
Thanks, It is brutal at times. I do like how it keeps me in shape. I focus on using the tools both right handed and left handed.
Wow. That is a heck of a trail.
I'm glad you like it. It's only going to get a lot better .
Great Work….. I can’t wait to ride it.
Thanks, I think it's going to be a real fun one
APT is hacking awesome ! Nice work.
Thanks, you need to come back out soon. I gotta get people riding in the trails
Nice one man, you guys on trail forks yet ? I'm surprised u don't have any snow there, makes for a long trail building season.
Not yet! We are probably going to go that route soon. We still just want to be sure we want the trails that well know. This year has been GREAT! It is so nice to be able to get so many things built out. Thanks
Hey aaron….great to see you doing stuff. Looks epic. I wish I were there.
Thank you. Hopefully you can make it out soon. The hard work is really fun and very rewarding. The riding is getting really good as well.
Looks like a lot of braking and drainage erosion to come. May want to rock armor those sections. Lots more work, yes, but will help with water run off and trail integrity long term. Natural trail is great, short term. High traffic makes huge ruts. Look at the Maah Daah Hey and other multi-species trails. Many areas have ruts crankarm deep and are un-rideable. Ask Brian about Peru and the natural use degradation. Yes, years in, but if you take the time to assist mother nature now, it will only benefit long-term. Again, I know how much work it is. Once it's all up and running, an area at a time won't be such an undertaking. Looking at the entire scope, you probably would just walk away. haha!
I have included many grade reversals on the APT and I don't think it will have to many brake drag areas. I will continue to keep a close eye on the performance of the trail and will be testing it thoroughly. When the erosion areas reveal themselves. I will take action and armor those areas or get creative in building features to make the trail bulletproof. First things first though. I need to cut in the entire trail in and test it in case I need to make any slight line changes. If I put too much work into sections and end up making adjustments. That will be wasted time and energy. I've been doing this with all the other trails at Everstoke and so far, all of them have been holding up great. Thanks for the tips. I'm always learning more as I go.
Awesome 💯💯
Thanks 😊
That mystery pipe must be identified on some map somewhere 🤔
If so, I hope I can find it. I really want to know what it was used for. It looks like it was hiked in and put mostly above ground
Awesome 😍😍😍
Thank you
I only watch this channel for the topography. JK. Wish i wasn't too old to ride awesome trials like these though.
The trails are totally Ebike friendly. Even if you are unable to ride them. Hopefully, you will come out and get a tour of the place. We can always use your support and we love to have guests.
