I recently bought the ICS CXP MMR DMR and let me say it is AMAZING! Stock the gun is shooting 450-460fps with .20s and is deadly accurate with .32s out way past 200ft. I own many airsoft guns but this ICS M4 has by far the smoothest running gearbox of any in my collection. I have had several VFCs, Krytacs, G&Gs, G&Ps, Classic Armys, Tokyo Maruis and KWAs in my time playing airsoft and none of them compare to the internals of my ICS M4. The split gearbox is the icing on the cake. It has yet to give me a reason to upgrade anything as I have only put fewer than 5,000 rounds through the gun but when something does break the split gearbox is going go make fixing it that much easier.

I ask you as a complete amateur, do you recommend this weapon as your first weapon? I read the reddit airsoft beginner thread and found the ICS brand there, and after a little search for your video, and of the many variations, I liked it the best so far. approx. I would spend so much money on the rifle, so would you be interested in your opinion on whether this choice could be a good decision in the long run?

Not in that stock, a buffer tube lipo would be a good fit. 900mah ones are small enough. If you go with a longer lipo though you can't collapse the stock all the way, but you can get more mah out of it.

Might be a tight fit with this stock, really the best fit are the 900mah 11.1v if you want the stock to collapse still. If you don't care about that, you could get away with longer.
Can I put an m125 spring in this and keep everything else stock ?
