Howdy Sarge I’m so sorry you have been in the fog it could be due to you just stopping those steroids cause my Dr always told me when I was on them that I can not stop them like that I have to be slowly taken off. So it could be due to that. Drink a few cups of coffee and just continue with the bed head it’s all good 😂😂😂Love you Sarge and hugs your way.

Glad I caught this video, Sarge. As much stress and worry as I’ve gone through in life, and especially lately, I can’t imagine facing what you’re facing. Your strength is unreal to me. It helps me to want to keep going. All we can do is take one day at a time.
My love and thoughts are with you always. Please hang in there and know that people all over the world are thinking of you and supporting you. ♥️

❤️ Good to see you post. 6 AM here and no sleep yet. Perhaps we should have an insomniac chat room. lol. Sorry for your discomfort and confusion and no, it's not odd at all - you are traveling through unfamiliar territory. Please go to the doctor. That's all I'll say about it! Must have been a hard conversation with your lovely supportive wife. I don't even want to think about anything but a miracle for you as I want you to stick around in strength and comfort. For someone I don't know, it feels as though I do! Ok enough. I'm dangerous posting when sleep deprived! Fondly, JC

You will face the future onslaught with grace and dignity. Sometimes, just as in this instance, you just have to tip out the bottle to see what's inside. Palliative care is daunting for anyone, hospice care is favoured especially in familial environs. That said, those you love you want you nearby. Follow your heart and it will lead you true

Hi sarge I think your in no man's land at the min. It's a saying here in England when your feeling a bit lost. Confused as you said it's easy to say be strong but the minds a powerfully thing, don't go to the fear of this disease. Go with the changes with as much ease as you can, take the tiniest piece of positivity and make it big. Don't get any of this in the wrong way. As people that aren't ill can still feel a lot of emotions for you and your wife and family. As we all have been hit with this disease in our own family's. We go to that door with you and we aren't allowed to follow. I hope you understand this. Waiting to hear what your deciding to do😚 to all of yous💗

Aww love, I always look forward to seeing you, and love your chats. So glad you have a brilliant weekend away with Mrs Sarge. I’m so sorry your not feeling up to par, and having headaches. You must go and see what’s causing them hun. It just might be certain meds need changing, but it’s worth getting a check up, just for peace of mind even. I must agree with you on the hospice situation. I would be exactly the same. It’s your decision as you said and totally understand why you have made that decision. I think your wonderful and I really hope you find your happy place again. By the way, thought your hair looked lovely , and I love the tea 👕 shirt. I could only see the word “ hit “ for a while , so was thinking the first letter was an ‘s’making it say shit, lol. Me and my bad mind. I hope You’re appointment tomorrow goes well hun. Love to you and your lovely Mrs. Take care lovely friend and look forward to seeing you hopefully very soon 🇬🇧xxx

My docs keep fighting me when I keep asking for a CAT scan. 😑 Anyways, please don't talk like that, I would feel sad if you passed. I know everyone dies, but I'm hoping not anytime soon because you have got a lot to live for. Please keep on fighting! Wish u feel better soon and thanks for the update. Sarge your hair looks lovely lol. It's always good to see ya no matter how you look ya goof lol. Ive told you before that I am a nurse like Mrs Sarge and I totally agree with you on tje hospice issue. I've worked in both pallitative and hospice. You will learn a lot about pallatative care, they zre more like educaters and general ever day support. Hospice has a lot of benefits, some I'm sure you know already but one of the major things is keeping you comfortable. In hospice you can pretty much use pain meds as often as you like (within the med time frame), some you can have in a short time frame. It takes the burden off your family as far as taking care of you. You generally dont have the worry of everyones 24/7 grief which give you time in your own head to deal what was and what will be. If your at home, you will have to have someone come to your home for medications and other care. Yes Mrs sarge is a nurse but she cant do anything involving your meds. Ive never had or heard of a patient that wasnt glad they were in hospice. That sounded morbid I know but its true. Cancer causes you to sleep and be extremely fatigued but you need to get in with your doc to make sure it hasnt gone to your brain. I think you should think about a wheelchair to. This way you can still go out and do things even if your tired. I pray that you have a lot of faith and hope and that you keep feeling all the love we try and blow to you lol. Till next time Sarge.

My grandad had cancer and he stayed at home and my grandma never told anyone until after he'd died but she found it very difficult mentally and physically looking after him as he got worse and eventually bed bound. It becomes a 24 hour thing for whoever is looking after you when you get really bad. My nan had to get a nurse to sit in at night because she wasn't getting any sleep. I would too and I think for the sake of the people you care for it's better to go into a hospice, and it's alos just better equipped.

I love this sort of video. It feels like we are sitting together, having tea and chatting like friends. The ebb and flow of the conversation covering a variety of subjects is so natural when conversing with friends. Please don't apologize for not having a theme. Just speak from your heart. We support you and pray for you and hope for only good things for you. Don't ever be afraid of going to appointments with palliative or hospice personnel, you need only take their advice you never have to do what they say, you are in charge and get to make the decision about what is happening to you. Praying you find a measure of peace and wishing you much love and strength.

When I worked as a hospice home care nurse I remembered that even with the most loving and supportive environment at home, there’s a possibility that on a rare occasion there could be a symptom that is difficult to manage or a person may be very uncomfortable in a certain position or there may be an issue with physical comfort that would require a nurse or home health aides to come and assist with. In some cases that may mean that there would be a short waiting period before these people can arrive at the home to help out. It very much depends on how many people are at home to help and if there are people close by who can help if needed, for example a friend or neighbor. There are two things I like about inpatient hospice, One is that family members are welcome and can stay overnight and in the most all cases will be able to stay with a person around the clock if they want to although for overnights it may be limited to 1 to 2 people. The second thing I really like is that all of the resources a person would need are minutes away and there’s a full staff with all hands on deck if needed. I’ve seen very peaceful and loving end of life experiences at home and inpatient at a facility. I know you follow Peewe Toms as do I, he and his mom had plans to visit and inpatient hospice on the recommendation of a palliative care nurse. It can’t hurt if Mrs. Sarge would be able to see it and have a walk through to meet the staff in order to have an idea of what they have to offer . As always wishing you the best

Oh you're fighting(still here). It's amazing you're still here. Wow. Lot more things to see, maybe. Maybe even God wants to teach some more. It can all be weird like that. And you aren't Sarge, are you? Someone else is...ok ok who is Mrs/Ms Sarge? I feel confused...are you being poetic and really talking about you? And the platelet thing sounded very good...like really. Takes months for people to die once going off chemo...especially at stage 4...but your platelets got up? I wonder if the docs could get you into a surgery room now and radiation and just go at all of the cancers. I don't know much about platelets but they mean you have high fighters of infection with a good platelet count....which sounds like a risk you could take if you can just go at the cancers one last time...if you aren't 100% tired of it.....
Wait, can you still drive?????Wow....it's like you almost don't have cancer....I'm a bit shocked doctors didn't try to study you.0.0 I really hope a miracle happens for you.

The driving accidents are a bummer Sweetie! Good luck on your appointment tomorrow. I hope you get some good answers there too!! I’m so very sorry you are going through so damn many struggles with health and bathroom. Drivers ed is such a cool
Occurrence! Your hair looks fine BTW. Try not to dwell on things about cancer that are making you feel so overwhelmed! Yay, about great news about blood work being perfect! Thank you for caring so much about your friends out here. And thank you for the prayers. Love and big Hugs and loads of caring about you each and every day Sarge. We are all in this thing together! And, just know you are greatly loved and cared about by thousands of people who have the privilege to think of you as a Dear Sister and are here for you each and every day. Peace Dear Sister Sarge😍💞🙋🏻‍♀️👍🏻

Also have you read or watched anything on The Gerson Therapy. There are videos here on UA-cam. His daughter Charlotte Gerson continues his work and she’s in her 80’s now. When I lost my father to liver, stomach and lung cancer I began my search on cancer and found so many good things. I truly believe in The Gerson therapy. Anyways. Have a Great Day Sarge!

Hey Sarge! Pray your appt goes well! Don’t feel bad about needing a placard, Use It even when you don’t need it, it will save your energy. I know it is hard to be Positive when your head feels awful and your body aches, but dig in deep and pull it out. You have to, it is Medicine ❤️ I’ve been meditating more and I feel it has helped get my mind in the right place. I pray so many good things for You.

I missed you, but your journey has been good to watch. If I could have, I would have ...... taken your place, as I am 75 and would gladly have taken on your battle for you. This is often how I feel when I see young ones in pain or turmoil or some kind of torture, not of their own making!

When you make that choice, I strongly recommend Hospice not at home. The care is quicker and better. I am thankful that we tripped into Hospice care with my Dad. There's no way he could have been properly cared for at home and his pain managed at the end of his life. I am praying that something changes for the better for you. But please know that you are loved and we appreciate you sharing this journey with us.

It might be helpful to have imaging like a head CT just to evaluate what’s happening. Your issues with driving and memory are new symptoms and definitely worth looking at. I’m sitting here thinking that if you find additional disease what that would mean to you but on the other hand, If there is something going on there are some palliative treatment options to help you feel less discomfort.
