With everything painted it's now time to assemble the first Ellie ready for it's steam test. Sorry about my croaky voice in this one I've picked up a bug.

I take my hat off to people like yourself with your knowledge and craftmanship building these amazing steam engines. I will be looking forward to seeing your Steam Tram running.
I have been following Kev for a few months while he built the cylinders and pistons for his locomotive project. I am not an engineer but have always loved live steam engines.
The closest I have got so far is a couple of Mamod models which I am trying to restore. 😄

Thanks for your kind words Mike, I'm glad you are enjoying the Ellie videos. I wish I'd videoed all of the work on these. Hopefully we'll be in steam soon 😀 you can have a lot of fun with a mamod in fact there is lots of interest running the locos on garden railways.
