have to say, I do think Abby set Kendall up for failure with this routine. Her routine is nowhere near as emotional or beautiful as Chloe's, and she wasn't comfortable doing this piece while Chloe had a style she is completely confident with. I love them both, but I think Abby had decided on her number 2 girl before they even danced.
It's about technique not the style of dance as you can see in the last set of turns Kendall fell out of her turns and I personally just don't think she had the energy and emotion

But if Abby wanted to do a FAIR competition she should've gave them both an equally good choreography, costumes, and even the same dance style. It would've been more fair! Kendall is an amazing dancer. However, she needs to work on her facials, posture and stamina. She seems tired all throughout the dance. She did a great job though. As for the choreography, it is not set to Kendall's ability. She is a strong dancer, she is not a fast energetic dancer. There is a difference and Abby needs to realise this. She would have done well with the choreography that is similar to Chloe's. She is a similar dancer, even though her technique is not at the level of Chloe.

Does anyone else realize that Kendall's feet are always facing in? Like i can't explain it, but if you stand flat foot, her feet are always leaning in. I can't explain it and i don't know the word but it makes her feet look more sloppy than they actually are. I know she isn't using her rotators and Abby always oversees that flaw on Kendall. IF Kendall was focused more on her flaws by Abby, and not always her good aspects, she'd probably be better than Maddie.
Kendall needs to work on her tilts (and tilt kicks) her pirouettes into passe and how to point her feet. Im a little dissapointed with this dance but i like Kendall :)

She was 2nd in her division, 3rd overall. Chloe was 1st in teen, Mackenzie Morales was first in junior, 2nd overall and Kendall was 3rd behind Mackenzie. But I really liked her outfit, it was simple but cute.
The music, choreography and costuming screamed lack of effort from the studio. I'm not a big Kendall fan, but if her parents are paying tuition and competition fees she should be given better than this.
i think jazz is kendall's best style. she uses great facials for jazz trios but she lacks facial expressions in lyrical group numbers. i think she would of done worse if she had chloe's choreography.
