Wow, your videos are super useful! Actually, I'm not a graphic designer, but as a videographer I can really make use of your videos in my start/endframes, intros etc... I'm very grateful, really! ✊
Those stylescapes look really nice! I'm definitely trying that out. How would you present such a stylescape to a client? What kind of software would you use for that?
I love the idea and how it looks... But the creation of a tasteful and refined stylescape the way you've presented it, is a serious amount of work in its own right. Is that something you would price out in your initial quotation?
They take about 1-2 hours to knock up. I feel like they will save you time in the longrun, because you will effectively communicate to the client your vision. This means they know exactly where you heading and they can offer feedback on that direction. Basically it prevents any disagreements later in the process, which if you've spent ages designing final concepts or designs, will be a huge waste of time. Not every project or client will require a stylescape, it depends on your client and workflow. If say someone is selling something on Fiverr for $20, their client likely won't even think about something like a stylescape.
great video. But i can't help but wonder if like me, you first heard of stylescapes watching @the futur a long time ago. If so it would be cool if you mentioned it one way or another.
@@SatoriGraphicsMy bad. I really really like your chanel and all your amazing content by the way.( i first heard of stylescapes in this video. ua-cam.com/video/lGmPCutgI2o/v-deo.html)
5k now.. Look at most graphic design channels, they don't pul in huge views because the subject of graphic design is quite diverse. A lot of subscribers won't find Stylescapes interesting, or other may not care about Adobe Illustrator etc.

You are a Great Sir, Really Thanks !
Happy to help
Those stylescapes look really nice! I'm definitely trying that out. How would you present such a stylescape to a client? What kind of software would you use for that?
You can export to PDF and just use which ever pdf viewer you have, preview on apple for example
@@RD-jr8nv Thanks for responding! Wouldn't that make the stylescape very small though?
@@tulp_graphics No, you can zoom in to fill the screen and scroll sideways
@@RD-jr8nv OK, thanks. I thought there might be some spectacular way to present it, but it's just the basic PDF. 😁
@@tulp_graphics Yeah you should be good with that! 😊 If anyone else can offer something better, go for that!
I love to make stylescapes. It's very useful for both.😊
It really is yeah, and they can be fun to do

Amazing work!!
Have you got some websites sources to find textures as mentioned in your video?
hey thanks :)
I suggest trying Envato Elements, but also simply give it a Google search 👍

I've not see their video.. Stylescapes are a pretty commonly known thing in the design space. Maybe they came from there first?

Does knowing how to play softal tutorial necessary?
you understand it very well, you may want to step it up.
How about Stylescrapes 800x3600?
Nice video but I have a question what software did you use for this project?
@Dingles Dougles Adobe Illustrator is lagging on my pc can use figma instead?
You can for sure use Figma. I used PS and Ai
@@SatoriGraphics oh ok thanks
What macbook do you use?
Just a 2021 14inch Macbook Pro.
It also makes sense to use fonts and styles already in place by the brand.
Yes but if you are creating the brand identity, there will be no fonts or styles, which is why you need to think about it and demonstrate your vision
Can you make a video on how to start freelancing as a beginner who doesn't know anything in freelancing?
What is the best tool for designing stylescapes or what you use, Illustrator or Photoshop?
Yeah Ps or Ai would be just fine
@@SatoriGraphics okay 👍
@@peterl0815 I think Photoshop and Illustrator are better because you require a detailed work and effects
@@peterl0815 if you like Inkspace, you can use it
Tools doens't matter that much I think

So "STYLE SCAPE" is the
MOOD BORD right.
No a mood board is there to help you create concepts and ideas. A style scape is to show the client a vision or path
At what point in the process would you present these to the client, and how do you frame it?
I would suggest doing this before you start to generate concepts. How you present it is up to you, but the actual vision is the most important aspect.
No-one:
Me:crushing on satori
lol
ICT Avant Garde :D
The futr.
Would you use this for a portfolio?
No it isn't a portfolio, it's meant to show the client your vision for a project
Informercial?
🎉
I read "gift of totalitarianism"...
