I don’t remember the names of the hotel at the Martinique Port, but we did stay at the Marriott Stellaris at San Juan, Puerto Rico, which is where we got on the ship at. I will include the link of that review here as well. Hope that helps! ua-cam.com/video/4uiUwR-KiiU/v-deo.htmlsi=wvpwhlH8CuwpffSE
Martinique is one of the most beautiful and interesting islands in the Caribbean, but you need to get out of the capital. They have a beautiful cathedral and botanical gardens, ruins, beaches, colonial estates, and a volcano and rainforest. Definitely take an excursion next time or hire a private driver. Even after spending 2 hours in the city, you still would've had time to at least see the Sacred Heart Church and Balata Gardens. I think that beach is manmade, and the water is dark because it's a busy port. Again, you need to go outside the city for proper beaches.
What are you opinions of Fort-de-France Martinque port?
Thanks for an interesting and honest review. Do you remember the hotel names at the cruise port? Do you have a pre-cruise recommendation?
