I could hear title and registration a million more times in my life and it would never be any less cathartic. Hands down my favorite album. I do wish they’d play Tiny Vessels.. like, ever. I’ve seen them on 4 different tours and never heard it live
@@ethansapp3473 oh man I forgot about this comment, I saw them on the Thank You For Today fall tour and they finally played it in the encore! Highlight of my life

I did not know that Title Track was on the setlist. As soon as it began, I couldn't help crying. It brought up all the bunch of feelings I have related to this song. The instrumental is so special! It represents I really devastated moment in my life, but it also remembers me that I could get over all that. Thank you, DCFC ❤
Yep. I love how the live versions of Title Track has Gibbard singing the melody line of the second time "Trips into" differently. Wondered if it just went wrong when recording the track or if it something he changed later on.

@@Ryan-hj4dk my dude!!!! We clearly have the same taste. Everyone of those are amazing artists but when it comes to lyricists Jesse lacey and conor oberst are the best ever.
It looks like an OP-1 by a company called teenage engineering, although I can’t tell for sure, its basically a modular lo-fi synth/sampler. The 1975s brief enquiry album has one all over it!
The hate towards yoko isnt about sexism or racism, its about her making crappy music..."she's one of the greatest artists of the 20th century." LOL ok Ben, whatever you say...
I was thinking the same thing!!! It hurts me so much to see Ben up there with two strangers, still under the title of DCFC. It’s basically his solo album. At least put the bass and drummer back up there with him so we see the band we all love!
snowbullet isn’t it the same just played on an acoustic, I can’t really hear the difference minus the fact that they’ve tuned it down slightly to accommodate ben’s deepened voice
Wow, how regressive. Nice attempt to make Yoko seem talented though... "EEEEEEEEEHEHEHEHEEEEHEHEHEHEEEEEEHEHEHEHEHEHHHAAAAAAAAHHHEHEHEHEHEHEEEEEEEEE" -Yoko

Listening to the woke banter between songs feels like being in a submarine and just looking around in astonishment at the alien underwater habitat. It’s like whoaaaa this is how lefty thoughts work. Yoko ono’s music is not good. Well that’s racist. Hm, ok. Seattle is getting nicer than it was, well that’s also racist. My beloved Death Cab.. I just love Ben’s voice and songwriting. So nice to see that the OP-1 has entered their lives as well 😊

title track. that is all.
Harry Surman there is no title track :/

D. Ruskonov I was totally wondering the same thing! Doesn’t matter tho, I love it either way!
SO awesome!! Thanks for posting this!
Is that an OP-1 being used in a live setting?!!! Dope.
an entire acoustic concert would be amazing
60 and punk off the new record is a heart breaker
I love that song. Top 3 on the record
A most accurate statement
Crazy that he mentions "We Have the Facts"..none of the people playing with him were on that record. My god I'm old.
Also jaded.

Love these guys. That one dude looks like he lives in a really nice subdivision...
Also love how there's more back up vocals with more band members...
Man i never thought anything about Gold Rush but god damn that track is a banger.
it's also one of my favorites too.
dude so good
they're so good

The best song on this record is near/far
this is great
I really wanted the sound guy to turn the mids down on the guitars and make it nice... nuupp.
Does anyone know what the little white keyboard/controller is?

The last good record we made... lol
Thought that was Transatlanticism according to the hipsters. I personally love all of it up until Narrow stairs, and then casually enjoy the rest.
Does anyone know the Mini Vox Amp on the Piano?
Need to get one, cant find it. :(
This, I think: www.voxamps.com/AC1RV

Minnesota Acoustic I love Ben but god that shit was cringe
Same, love his music, but thats about where it seems to end lol
It says a lot that it took two guys to replace Chris.
I've thought that ever since he left, funny ain't it how talented that guy was

That hurt right in the feels, the sound has changed quite since his departure... it's still wonderfull dcfc but different
Dave Depper & Zac Rae are both pretty phenomenal though!
How do you know they didn’t just want two more guys in the band instead of one?
life is hard without a drummer
I need a tab for this version of title track

What are those shoes Ben is wearing?

So, is there any word on what happened to Walla and the rest of the band?
I don't know about the rest, but Walla left the band four years ago.

now that the new album is out, how do you feel about it?

@@aze8357 that is true...chris is missed
this is ben gibbard and two new guys thats not death cab
Dave Depper is fucking legit. Check out his KEXP session and his solo stuff.
not saying that they are bad i just think that death cab isn't death cab without chris walla
you are aware that Dave has been a part of Death Cab for over three years now, right? He isn't exactly new anymore.
cant forget about jason mcgerr, phenomenal drummer
