Today a short tutorial on how to flash Multiprotocol Module than can be found in Jumper T16, Jumper T18, Radiomaster TX16S, and all the external multiprotocol modules available on the market. The procedure is quite simple, and in general, OpenTX has everything you need.

You can transfer files to the T16 without removing the SD card. Just turn on the radio before plugging in the USB cable, and it will map a couple of volumes to it - one for the Jumper firmware, and one for the file system. Then you can just drag and drop your file in before going to the update procedure.

Thanks! But two remarks:
1. It's work only if bootloader exist. On first models T16, for example, there was a problem (but solvable).
2. You don't need to remove SD card from transmitter. Just connect it to PC, choose USB storage and transfer file to SD card.

Hi I have a Jumper JP4IN1 module and find that with OpenTx after Ver 2.4 I cannot use it. When multi is selected it shows 130 and say I need to update the firmware. When I try to update the firmware it say I cannot because it doesnt have a boot loader - I cannot find out where to get or how to install a boot loader - HELP !!!

I have a Qx7 with the iRangeX IRX4 Plus MultiModule. When I download the firmware .bin file and place it on the SD card, it doesn't show op in the card contents, so I can't select it. Am I doing something wrong here?
EDIT: I saw on CurryKitten's channel that the long filename could be a problem. So I shortened it and now it shows up. But when I long press on the filename I get a menu with Copy, Rename and Delete. No flash-options. The radio has OpenTX 2.2.0 Should I update this first in order to get it to work?

Do you lose your settings when you upgrade the firmware?
