A je ne sais quoi coming from the casting, settings, the times of the day they shoot at to pull out so many beautiful colour pallets, the performances and how it goes with the song to elevate it all make it a pretty neat thing. I personally prefer having the video on to just listening to the audio, which is a rarity for me. Also don't hate on me for saying je ne sais quoi

Totally agreed. I'm a cantankerous 62 year old black man and I am a music snob. These guys are the most interesting. Almost all of their stuff has a certain psychedelic gleam. Lots of sweet interesting sounds in contrast to the rasty, robotic autotuned machine-and-ego music of say Kanye and pretty much all the hip hop in the world of commercial music. Madlb, J-Dilla, Homeboy Sandman, people like her or that Ethiopian guy they just found, the one who was exiled in the '70s for his revolutionary lyrics. The beat goes on.
