Welcome to the thirty-third video in my "'Romeo and Juliet' GCSE English Literature Revision" series! In this video, I annotate Act 5, Scene 3 (the end of the play), considering how it presents the play's characters, relates to the play's themes, and functions formally as a piece of drama. I provide a bunch of annotations in this video and include context where relevant too, all of which should help you out as your study or revise Shakespeare's play.

could you do a video annotating Juliet's monologue before she takes the potion in act 4!!
Hey, just curious what made you consider making a series on Romeo and Juliet rather than Macbeth?
(Your comment today reminded me of this one!)
There was no deep rationale behind it - the students I was tutoring at the time I was looking to start a new series both happened to be doing R+J as their Shakespeare text, so given I was tutoring them R+J anyway, it made sense to put that work into the channel too. For what it's worth, I actually prefer Macbeth!
