I love this game! It pulls you in from the first act and keeps you enthralled with strategy, action and an absurd obsession of keeping your soldiers alive haha. Naming them and giving backstories is half the fun!
The next XCOM game really needs a local co-op mode, I've seen a lot of other occasions where multiple people wanna play the same mission together like this it'd be cool to have a game mode where you and a friend command 3 soldiers each, like both of you with your own controller so you could both make commands at the same time
Imagine this mission redone as a short cinematic. All units using their best skills to get the best out of the xenos, a heroic act from a significant member of the team to destroy the disruptor, putting his/her life at risk - thinking of Elle here- and then the remaining members of the team pulling back while they shoot at enemies in swift action.
Loved this, more xcom streams please. Don’t want to be one of those guys but learn some of the basics before another stream though just so I don’t have to scream at my screen quite so much. Cheers guys.
