I don't believe I have the words to express how much I love your guide. It's outstanding in every single aspect. I'm a forum reader and also a new player to WoW (been around for 3 months). My Monk was stuck in level 71 because I got very discouraged. The reason in that the forums are very pessimistic about the class and I imagine it's because in raids people are very competitive about their final HPS. Watching your guide just made me remember how much I love the class. Thank you so very much. I imagine it was a hell damn lot of work to produce such a long an high quality video guide, so I hope that knowing you immensely made a difference in someone's gaming experience will make you feel it was worth it. Congratulations, you're the best gaming video maker I've ever seen.
Keep in mind HPS isn't a good thing to go by. It's pretty irrelevant actually. Healers heal in different ways and in different situations when they need to. A Druid for example would apply tones of HoTs to pad damage and a Shaman reacts more to damage. Someone might bring up their hps just to feel proud.
Your guides are probably the best of any kind here on UA-cam! They are so much more than informative, they answer questions that I didn't even expect I would have before watching. You have a great voice to listen to and the enthusiasm and knowledge that you bring is exceptional! Keep it up, I love your videos!
Your guides are absolutely wonderfull, even for players that are somewhat experienced they manage to remain interesting and the humour & 'flavor' in them is just amazing, to the point where someone could watch them for entertaining purposes only (at least I could) while also helping the playerbase improve, you sir are a great content creator, and the game itself, not to mention the community of it, would be much less interesting without persons such as yourself.
Literally one of the best guides I think I've ever watched on here, and I have watched a TON. If you don't make more, and in so doing garner a freakin' huge following, there simply is no justice in the world. Thank you for your hard work.
honestly this is the best guide i´ve ever seen on youtube. not only the best mw monk guide but the best guide in general. im amazed. this is amazing! subbed right away
What a well put together and intelligent overall guide. This was a pleasure to watch and is probably the greatest guide I've ever had the pleasure to watch. Keep up your greatness!
As i am writing this, im only a minute into the video, I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS! This guide is like a friggin theatric step by step Ultiamate GUIDE! The style is killer, im subbing 4 lief!
Been trying to get my mistweaver alt going and this is by far the best, most thorough explanation I have found. I have not healed since cata and the rotation section alone with all the situations is so, SO helpful. Good job Tuskeh!
This might be the best video I've ever seen. I just love the way it's made and I also really like the commentary. I can't imagine making such a good vid by myself. You rock!
This is the kind of guide I have been looking for. All the other mistweaver guides I have found have just been "Here is the talents we choose for legion". Glad someone like you took the time and explained it all. I started my first alt last week. A monk that I want to try learn to heal with. But my biggest problem right now is just to take that step of actual heal a dungeon. I mean, people will get so mad when I mess up.
I think the last part that you mention at the end of the video is probably the most important part. You are a support character. DPS'ing, CC'ing, taunting (especially with the necrotic debuffs in M+), are all really useful and important. Can't say this enough. You're not just a healbot.
Really well made video tuskeh! as a main ww monk but my friends always ask me to heal theirs keystones this guide is kinda helpful! keep up the good work!
I know you've moved on from this type of content creation but I was looking for monk guides after choosing my main for BfA and I was reminded of how insanely good your guides were. Best on the site, you should be proud of them.
thank you for this guide. you cover everything and its super easy to understand. also i love the raid commentary and i wish i could find one for my main
This is a relatively correct guide for mistweaving, i'm really impressed! A couple things are wrong like stat priority (crit > vers for raiding and haste > int for dungeons) and a couple more minor things but honestly this is a great guide for people new to the class.
Hey Tuskeh! Just wanted to say thank you for the help with this monk guide. It actually inspired me to go and make a monk and take up healing again :). I don't suppose I could ask for you to possibly make a marksmanship Hunter guide please? I roughly no the basics but it would be awesome to learn how to play to the max! Keep up with the awesome content :)
Always wanted to try monk healing, I hope your guide will help me as much as you Outlaw Rogue guide did. p.s. - Nice to know there are more people who picked the correct race.
I was thinking about to lvl a monk and try healing... Now I am more excited for it than ever before. such a good guid and so nice to watch sorry for the gramma and word choice i am from germany ^^
Loved this guide. Super informational and real. I'm a beginner and will be practicing a lot and keeping your very helpful pointer like not panicking in mind 😅
Just found out your guide and this is awesome... I still find Mistweavers a bit complicated (even Brewmasters since WoD) - Paladin and Druid player here, btw. I watched this video 2x already and might watch it again and take some notes...
I never really watch these and focus on the video since I have never played a mw monk and dont have any interest in doing so. But I just love watching your guides for some reason
Small correction for the macro part. Macros work just fine by using this: #showtooltip /cast It will then show the icon and tooltip of the ability it will cast when used. Using just #showtooltip is awesome when you use, say a /castsequence, since it'll change the icon of the button according to what ability it's going to cast. Example: #showtooltip /castsequence reset=taget Tiger Palm, Tiger Palm, Tiger Palm, Blackout Kick This will sequentiate the base fistweaving rotation you explained, and compress it to one button (Leaving another keybind to healing, yay), while also resetting the rotation every time you change targets (you can also do i.e "reset=5", and it'll reset after not being used for 5 seconds) After it's cast the third Tiger Palm it'll change the macro tooltip and icon to Blackout Kick before casting it on the next use, so you can see on the bars when it'll actually cast it, then it'll change it back to Tiger Palm and start the rotation all over. Other than that, superb guide. I'll be using this as a base for when my Monk hits 100, and this all starts getting relevant :D
u should be a teacher no one get my attention easily I usually get bored from 15 min videos but I watched the whole thing and it's great best wishes from my heart and good luck with ur other video's ❤
Tuskeh your guides are AWESOME and amazing you are so positive :D But your channel only has 36k subs D: You should have more subs You Deserve MORE subs!
I watched the whole guide since I windwalk and mistweave in m+ on my alt and at the end I realized you where in Antisocial Club on my server. huh small world. I'm Mistake, one of the rogues in Haven.
should you stay in melee range of the tank? to get the bonus healing effect of the 2 golden traits? or just keep a good range away form all the melee chaos.
Literally the day I decide to level a monk for healing you release this... i must say Tuskeh, you're really on the ball
Killian Brady I hope he does windwalker and brewmaster guide can't wait he makes wow so much easier
lol not tryna hate on u bro do yo thanggg. but wow doesnt need to be much easier XD ik u said he makes it much easier, but its pretty common sense
kiljaedenn understandable, but some people do need that extra bit of advice :) especially if you want to try different roles
yo how do you like your heal monk ? im thinking about lvling one myself but am not quite sure

honestly this is the best guide i´ve ever seen on youtube. not only the best mw monk guide but the best guide in general. im amazed. this is amazing! subbed right away
What a well put together and intelligent overall guide. This was a pleasure to watch and is probably the greatest guide I've ever had the pleasure to watch. Keep up your greatness!
I no longer play wow but I still watch your videos as I find them very entertaining.
thank you for the endless hours of fun!
Your videos are soooo aesthetically pleasing. Love 'em!

When the guides are so good you watch them even tho you are not playing nor planing on playing the class and stil enjoy it
This might be the best video I've ever seen. I just love the way it's made and I also really like the commentary. I can't imagine making such a good vid by myself. You rock!
Very thorough guide! Thanks a lot! Was nervous about starting a Mistweaver Healer, but this guide calmed my nerves :D
Probably the best guide I've seen, not just for mistweavers, but wow in general.
I have been waiting for a well made guide for a mistweaving monk for some time now. This will be very helpful so I can vastly improve my skill.
This is the kind of guide I have been looking for. All the other mistweaver guides I have found have just been "Here is the talents we choose for legion". Awesome video, not only informative but also beautifully looking.
Nice work!

Fantastic video. Can you please make a new video with the 7.2 updates? I have just started healing and this video is a brilliant help

Thank you very much for the guide man keep it up!!
Thanks for aweeeesome guide
Small correction for the macro part.
Macros work just fine by using this:
#showtooltip
/cast
It will then show the icon and tooltip of the ability it will cast when used.
Using just #showtooltip is awesome when you use, say a /castsequence, since it'll change the icon of the button according to what ability it's going to cast.
Example:
#showtooltip
/castsequence reset=taget Tiger Palm, Tiger Palm, Tiger Palm, Blackout Kick
This will sequentiate the base fistweaving rotation you explained, and compress it to one button (Leaving another keybind to healing, yay), while also resetting the rotation every time you change targets (you can also do i.e "reset=5", and it'll reset after not being used for 5 seconds)
After it's cast the third Tiger Palm it'll change the macro tooltip and icon to Blackout Kick before casting it on the next use, so you can see on the bars when it'll actually cast it, then it'll change it back to Tiger Palm and start the rotation all over.
