EDIT: I also wouldn't pay TOO much attention to negative UA-cam comments - YT comment sections are kind of notorious for being the bottom of the barrel in terms of discourse.
It's less the comments section I'm worried about and more about making sure that the Discord server stays a welcoming atmosphere. The comments section can be moderated, and even on the video in question I've had to report comments for things. But those aren't in real time like the Discord can be.
