ezra obviously knows harry potter better than the others ha
irene He is a self acclaimed fanboy.
I feel like Colin is a secret Ravenclaw.
Agreed.... for a guy who never read a Harry Potter book, but only watched the films, his answers are incredibly eloquent and well thought out.
truuuu
She's wearing a Hufflepuff scarf and a Gryffindor robe and that is bugging me so muchhhhh
Mikaela Darkside Glad I'm not the only one thinking this!
Mikaela Darkside The hell is wrong with her?
Mikaela Darkside Ikr?
Mikaela Darkside that is just wrong
sammmmeee
OF COURSE Collin said Gellert :D
Can you blame him? It would actually be upsetting, if Colin had answered Voldemort. If the sequel does not flop, I hope WB reconsiders being back (the real) Percival Graves, in the third or fourth film.
"Finestro" was actually my favourite spell in the movie. It would be very useful if your house was on fire or something, and you had to break the glass to get out safely.
RorySeizeTheDay If you are fighting someone by a large building with lots of windows I can see it be very handy.
Well not really, cause the spell breaks the glass in to a substance almost like sand
Could be a good distraction especially if its something like the Empire State Building.
colin farrel is hermione granger
thelonious monk Haha what?
just look how good a student he is
Alison's laugh gave me chills. I love her so much
The way I see it, Voldemort might be the stronger wizard but he still only terrorise the UK. While Grindelwald managed to terrorise the entire Europe. Just a thought. Hahaha.
While true, Voldemort was only focusing primarily on the UK as a starting off point. Once that was taken care of, he would have moved on to the next area followed by the next until he had the whole world. He was much more strategic about it even if he did lose, while Grindelwald was much more messy about his plans. I think both were relatively the same.
grindelwald ruled much longer than voldemort too. i think voldemort has the strongest magic power but he mistook that as real power. hes a bully but not a real ruler so he just killed people not really built anything. grindelwald seem like a racist dictator but with a practical plan. so i think grindelwald could do more damage cause he would make lots of true believer. much more than voldemort's childish behavior could make. n voldemort's lack of knowledge of old magic is something need to be consider too.
LijenC2357 but grindelwald never conquerer anything unlike voldemort in the UK. he was just terrorizing
What I find funny though, is that it took the greatest wizard of all time to defeat Grindelwald and a teenager to kill Voldemort.
Just my opinion though, I'm in love with both of them
Voldermort is stronger no doubt but his only downfall was some Prophecy,,
Lol Ezra's answer to the British wizard vs American wizard question XD
I feel that Colin was nervous and burning his little universe to pass the test but ended up doing it so brilliantly that he almost proved to be a Ravenclaw.
Alison's laugh at 1:55 fixes all that is wrong in the world!
1:58 Alison's laugh tho😂
everyone else: the way they interact with no majs/muggles
ezra: 1:15-1:27 😂😂
Not exactly a quiz you need knowledge for but still fun to watch xD
i hope colin will return in fb 2
Why is the woman wearing a Gryffindor robe but a Hufflepuff scarf?
i think she is Harry Potter fan (hence the robe and Harry's glasses) but because Newt was Hufflepuff so she just wore the scarf to show the sympathy. Or she just wanted to look more nerdy.
Amber Shoffren it was so distracting! Needed to go all out hufflepuff! (I'm a proud hufflepuff)
Alim Sparrow YEAH!
Or maybe she’s a Gryffinpuff
Amber Shoffren maybye she's a griffinpuff lol
Alison is so cute!
Uhm, well, of course Voldemort is more powerful because...... oh right, HE COULDN'T DIE without destroying seven random objects that could be anywhere around the world.
Does she have Ravenclaw socks and Slytherin underwear on too
Is nice to have a British accent in the middle of Americans
0:53 Katherine is shocked
0:20 I’m Ezra when I’m taking a test and I don’t know the answer😂
Surely Voldemort is more powerful because he's got his 7 horcruxes to back him up in case he 'dies'.
'Plastic surgery' I love Ali so much 😂❤️
Evryone's like "Voldemort's stronger!" And Colin, AKA Graves AKA Grindelwalkd's like "Grindelwald... Caus me."
1. Need to know about beasts as a fundamental of the Wizarding world, also prereading for Care of Magical Creatures classes in 3rd year.
2. Voldemort, he defeated Grindlewald.
3. Views on Muggles/No-mag, also identification? Clothes, accent haha
4. The one to make objects clean for you idk what it is
Voldemort didn't defeat Grindlewald, he was already imprisoned and weak, Voldemort just killed him.
MidnightEkaki voldemort didn't defeated Grindelwald u dumbass, Grindelwald was already old and weak while in prison when voldemort found him, btw, Grindelwald is a friend with one of the most powerful wizard which is Dumbledore
+Rooy Topia wow no need to call me a dumbass. i was actually going to say Grindlewald at first because I like him more, but then I analysed it and that opinion had no solid basis. They seem to be on a similar level but their one confrontation ended in Grindlewalds defeat, plus Dumbledore defeated him and never defeated Voldemort in a duel. Also like I think wizards would naturally grow in power over generations due to gaining more knowledge of magic. Thats why I chose Voldemort.
MidnightEkaki You do realize that when Voldermort "defeated" Gellert, he was starving, old, and dying right? He didn't even have his wand! (Yes, Gellert is capable of performing wandless magic but still). And Dumbledore was chronically ill and old. I agree that Voldermort is stronger, but that is not the reason why he's stronger than Gellert and Albus.
is it just me or does eddie redmayne look sunburnt
He's constantly blushing lol
Gr4vity Punch He turns bright red in a matter of seconds whenever he's embarrassed. And they kept asking him embarrassing questions so that's why. lol
1:46 that stupify comment was very true
all voldemort would have to do is lift a finger to defeat gellert
Reagan Mucci at a point in time Grindelwald was stronger than voldemort ever was but he never fully blossomed into his power due to some concerns. this was when the elder wand was in Grindelwald's possession and he was chosen by it.
Yeah. Grindelwald got imprisoned for most of his life, and not even in Azkaban. I can't imagine Voldemort getting imprisoned anywhere to be honest. Voldemort's "downfall" so to speak was his ever increasing loss of reality. Had he remained sane he probably would have been able to go through with his plans.
well.. idk man. voldy couldn't even take over a goddamn school
+chandra D Umm I thought Grinderwald stole the Elder Wand from Mykew...
If only Voldy hadn't had 6 horcrux.. he would have died since 1981
ahhh! Such acute cast, but sh had a hufflepuff scarf and gryffindor robes :(
DAT CACKLE I LOVE IT
Here are my totally not asked for answers to the questions:
1st: I believe that Fantastic Beasts and where to find them was put on the list by Severus Snape in order to get his students to have some background information on the "ingredients" they were about to be using in potions. Maybe also to help muggleborns understand the wizarding world better. But let's face it: Newt's book has probably led to more productive beast-slaughter rather than preservation of species.
2nd: I believe that Grindelwald was more powerfull, yet unaware of the danger that Dumbledore poses which gave him a disadvantage. He had a plan on how to achieve immortality that did not include self-mutilation, he managed to terrorise more or less the whole world and he hadd amazing power.
3rd: New York wizards are less progressive than british ones, having strict regulations for relations with no-majs as well as beast-ownership. They also seem to be forced to blend in a lot more than british wizards.
4th: sunshine, daisies, bottom mallow, turn this stupid, fat rat yellow. Or maybe Lumos...
I think Grindlewald is more powerful than Voldemort... Purely because he could feel love and friendship.
what i dont get is what was voldemort's intentions are, i dont think it really mentions that or probably i havnt been paying attention
Looking at it logically, Dumbledore was able to defeat Grindelwald, though Grindelwald has the elder wand and was very powerful and it must have been quite a battle. But when Dumbledore faced Voldemort, even with the elder wand, Dumbledore couldn't defeat him. That's why I think Voldemort is much more powerful and scary than Grindelwald.
Dumbeldore didn't faced Voldemort, Snape's the one who killed him ... and he was actually the only one who really scared Voldemort. I think they both are powerful, but in different ways.
Ok so regarding the 'Finestro' thing, this is a direct def from the Harry Potter Wiki "Finestra was the incantation of the spell which shatters the glass of the target window into dust, allowing people to walk over the shattered pieces without damage." So... unless your oponent's the Mirror Master from DC Comics and you're The Flash (Which Ezra/Credence is I guess) it's kinda pointless no?
What was with all of the philosophy? Question one answer: Because you take 'Care of Magical Creatures' and this is your year one textbook and you won't get the Monster book of Monsters until a later year. Duh. ;)
lemonadecupcakes Actually, they don't take Care of Magical Creatures until year 3 and they get the Monster Book of Monsters 2 years later, also in year 3
XD I love them sooo much🔝😂
Toucan tell Collin doesn't have a clue about HP beyond this movie lol
why is she wearing a griffendor robe with a hufflepuff scarf
What about Lumos?
Could be helpful if you're fighting in the dark?
Was the fantastic beasts book a must read for the first years? i thought they started that in their second year
The other difference between British and American wizards is that Americans don't say they're spells they mouth them unlike newt who says them like if you go back and watch the movie do you ever hear Tina or Queenie yell spells during a fight
audacious aaron Tina says Accio in the last part of the movie
because the americans we see in the movie are almost all very good wizards : Graves is an Auror, Tina an ex-Auror, and Queenie is a powerful legilimens so I guess she isn't that bad in magic...
in Harry Potter, the main characters are students. So obviously they are saying their spells ... but in the books (5 or 6 I think) they also learn how to cast a spell without talking ... ;)
she's wearing a griffindor robe and a hufflepuff scarf .... just why ?
Typical poser.
Tina fue la unica que no respondio nada. Sera por que Newt no le dejo responder o por que no sabia que decir
lol why is she wearing a gryffindor robe with a hufflepuff scarf
Stupify
Hufflepuff or Gryffindor?
Huh she asked it without the answers? I want to know muahaha
I think grindelwald is more powerful than Voldemort
why is she wearing a hufflepuff scarf but a gryffindor robe? the fuck
Ambiguous nonsense.
