THE ACRE WAR 1899-1903

After years of the costly defeat in the War of the Pacific, Bolivia sought alternatives to revive its economy and ultimately aspire to progress, therefore he began to reinforce its sovereignty in the region of Acre where attracted by the valuable rubber many Brazilians had established, bypassing the Bolivian authority.
