I agree, the reason the poly count is so low is that I was modeling everything myself in engine and I suck at modeling! would have been nice to not have to make all the environment assets myself but it is what it is

it's actually pretty simple, basically they just shoot at you and then move a bit and shoot at you again; the only somewhat complicated thing is that they are always placed with an Elite and when the Elite dies they all start running away. There's only 2 custom AI tasks really, just a shoot at player task and the run away task, finding a navigable area is default in unreal behavior trees
