Hey Matt! Just thought I'd give you a tip. The Escape Root allows you to safely swap another plant with it. Tapping (or clicking) on the Escape Root and then another plant will swap the two plants. After swapping, the Escape Root will transform into either a Cherry Bomb, Grapeshot, Potato Mine, or Primal Potato Mine when a zombie gets close. C. This might be a dumb idea but you should try playing pvz Garden Warfare 2. It’s a really fun experience, there’s not a too high skill floor, and considering the amount of money you throw at pvz games, you won’t have an issue unlocking the characters that you want, lol.

Hey matt! its my first time suggesting something on one of your videos, anyways the reason why the Electric blue berry only electrocuted 2 zombies is because there were only 2 zombies on the board. another thing is that basically every week or so a new (or old) plant will be selected for The arena tournament there you can earn mint candy to buy different types of mints which boosts the same typing of plants that the mints have to make them stronger. To do so you must battle other players and try to kill the most zombies for points. in the end the player with most points wins. you can also play weekly levels in penny's pursuit to get different seed packets for the weekly plants. (The Rubarbarian indeed was a weekly plant that required seed packets to unlock while the others were just seed packets for upgrading which is why it wasn't for sale besides the bundle in the shop)
The only premium plants that I have is: Level 4 fire peashooter Level 5 squash Level 3 rhubarbian Level 2 enforce mint Level 1 pepper mint Level 2 Torchwood And this is all my powerful free plants Level 6 bonk choy Level 3 twin sunflower

I dunno what my favorite plant is, but I know one of the best value plants is the Apple Mortar, it's basically 2.8x the value for a single tile, you basically get a primal peashooter, A.K.E.E., and a threepeater all on one tile for 250 sun
The grape 🍇 shot is a actually a cherry bomb with projectiles, so when you’re using it it’s best to put it on top of a group of zombies, that’s when it becomes the real MVP Like this comment so Matt can see it

Fun fact at one time in the game if you use plant on the spring bean and than use the blover right after you can kill all the zombies all at once. But it was patched so it does not work anymore
Matt, the first half of this game is pretty easy, using repeater torch wood is over kill, using any premium plant is like bringing a full auto RPG to Mario 1-1.
One of my favourite premium plants is the electric blueberry mostly because how it’s very handy on last stand levels. I just plant them and once they’re all bouncing then that’s when I start the level. They obliterate everything

My favorites are the whole vine series because they all have special abilities like boosting specific towers or have a electric trip wire sort of thing

The Caulipower has to charge up before it shoots, but it’s actually really good.
Also Cold Snapdragon is better in the first few lanes.

Hey Matt a helpful tip is if you have favorite plants click on the heart and they will be added to your favorite at the top when doing each level

Here’s the thing: rhubarbarian has a range of about 4 tiles when it comes to jumping forward, and will exit the lawn after some time.
Tip for the future! Dont use grapeshot in the dark ages, the jesters will reflect the projectiles, they will do lots of damage to your plants
