Wow I’m going to pray like crazy, and listen and be aware. After finishing watching I went up to my 22 year old son and gave him a big hug and told him I loved him. To my surprise, he didn’t flinch and he even smiled :)
I felt this comment. I have a 16 yr old and when I pray, she softens to me...pray pray pray for them and for ourselves. I feel so lucky that we have this gift and can touch "the mist" of the Divine and have it work in our lives. Love

Patricia Leppke I was in a spiritual mess when one day I walked into my nearest bookstore and the salesman just handed this book to me and said “I think you’ll like this”. That was my first intro to Caroline Myss and the book was “Sacred Contracts” the year was 2005. Never looked back since. Thankyou Ms Myss for this incredible awakening. I found my teacher🙏🏼

This talk is so current and timely, that I NEED to listen to this every day.
Having been raised a strict Catholic, I was fearful of God, prayed in the form of begging, and felt extreme guilt about everything that happened.
I ruminated about things that now I see was a waste of my time. Thank God, I’m learning to let them go and not take things personally.
In my teens, looking at the stars, I had a profound, life-changing sense of pure love and peace, and knew that was God. I began to meditate and pray differently (despite the disapproval of my dear mother). I know that God IS nature, and man’s “discoveries” just uncover what God created. I developed a newly blossomed spirituality.
Since then, I’ve had mystical experiences that could only be attributed to God or angels.

This shows the context of my past and current outlook on life and how Ms. Myss helped change my life:
I had a childhood filled with nervousness, chronic pain, infections, and other health issues resulting from rheumatic fever, that were mostly dismissed; an alcoholic, abusive father; parental divorce; my own divorce; having a beloved daughter who went from being a happy, smiling young woman to an uptight know-it-all, when she got married and melted into her husband’s hatred, rudeness, and criticism of everyone including me, even though they have a beautiful daughter (however, she’s changing and coming back to herself a bit), a grown son who has meningitis at age 7 which changed him into a depressed, withdrawn child, and he is now an addict, physically and mentally ill, has been abusive toward me, stole over $150,000 from me when I was bedridden, and has been a cause of stress for my ex-husband and me for 20 years. Then, insanely, I got breast implants (a reference for women who may not know how toxic they are because we are lied to because of $$!) which caused 15 years of an onslaught of overlapping health problems so severe that I had to retire from my teaching career, became isolated and hated by my sisters who thought I was on drugs and a hypochondriac. They mocked me and laughed at my issues, accused me of outrageous things, picked on me mercilessly (and I began doubting myself when I never had before), they never called when I had major surgeries by myself, and sometimes they didn’t know I had them. I became an outcast (partly because of my son as well), because their lives are much easier, their kids are normal, and they have husbands who make lots of money. I have had no one to buffer any conflicts, and my daughter has latched on to the multi-millionaire, which still hurts, even though I know not to let it. Again, I asked, “Why me?
However, I knew, and know now, that I had to let this weight go, and Ms. Myss, put things in perspective for me.
I now always keep her words in my mind:
“Stop asking why.”,
and this transformed my outlook from a victim to a grateful woman who takes care of herself with no apologies any more. I am now much happier. 🙏❤️
I’ve let go of the resentment I felt because of an imperfect life that I thought not “fair”: childhood chronic pain that I still have in my 60’s, an abusive, alcoholic father, chronic illness since my childhood, a 33 year-old son who has been mentally ill since age 7 when he had severe meningitis and almost died, his addictions and constant care, his trouble with the law, and my near financial ruin due to his stealing my money when I was bedridden for a year, breast implant illness that caused me to have to retire from my teaching career, financial ruin because of health issues and my son stealing almost everything I had. but it took until my 60’s to finally get it through my head! I’m saying this next part in the hopes of helping anyone else who is struggling through confusing health issues:
I’ve been through some life-long stressful issues with family alcoholism and dysfunction, childhood health issues that still plague me at age 64, but I have had SEVERE health issues for the last 15 years because of my stupid choice of putting foreign bodies into my body. I didn’t know were the cause of my autoimmune diseases that kept surfacing and causing me to have to leave my teaching career, and the life-threatening organ failuresand air change of lifestyle, prayer and meditation. life-threatening illness was “happening to me”. My grown son is mentally ill and at one point, stole from me so much money that I almost lost my house. Again, I asked, “Why me?
Life just isn’t fair, and that’s it!

Wow and WOW! I'm witnessing the gradual and painful passing of a longtime friend from cancer, and It's been difficult to know what to say or how to be with all that comes up. This talk came exactly when I needed it, to show me how to get to the deepest level of praying for a miracle, but without a personal agenda. Much gratitude for all Caroline gives for free, to those who can't afford her workshops. I've been following her since "Why People Don't Heal and How They Can," and it's amazing to witness her evolution into one of the most important voices on our planet right now...
Wow! She is describing the very effects of meditation, and yet says she cannot meditate at all and claims it is useless. Non-attachment, no drama, not taking things personally, living in love, being the observer. These are precisely the results of meditation. Love you, Carolyn, and hope some day you can appreciate meditation - just as much as prayer. They go hand in hand, heart in heart.
Tough love! Miss Caroline doesn't mince words. I may not agree with everything she says, but I do gain wisdom from her.
I agree. I get “upset” listening to her speak her truth, but still I come back for more. Her teachings force me to take an honest look at myself. Powerful! But frightening, too.

I agree & I've listened to everything Myss i could get hold of for 30 years. She's so powerful, pointed hilarious, whack on the head right. She took my entire adulthood in a different direction. What a goldmine of help to the soul.

Carolyn, I haven’t heard one of your talks since you wrote Entering the Castle. I so enjoyed spending time with you today. It so thrilling how the universe delivers in its infinite ways. I’s especially grateful for the new insights on prayers. I was laughing the whole way thru this talk. Perfect timing. Thank you I so needed to hear this talk. My new prayers will be so much fun. I only new one before, it always started with giving thanks and ended with please give us/me the strength to meet the challenges that are before me/us. It was just so refreshing to hear your no holds barred straight talk!
I listen to and read a lot of different authors and of all, you speak in a mannerism that makes sense to me.....I love your direct approach and nonsensical mannerisms Caroline! Thanks for all you do!
I agree with most of what Carolyn says in this//apart from her belief that afterlife assessment is in any way judging us for choosing fear over love and showing us that, every spiritual experience I have in my life would never condemn a consciousness for fear/sprit is loving/there is no could have been, there is not even anything truly separate from love, because even decisions based out of fear come from loving something else more...therefore all spirit and all assessment of life values the bravery for even living it, even if it was only for one day before returning to spirit.
I've been following your work for 25 years - thank you for solid teachings in these amazing times.

I've followed Caroline for years now... initially i found her hard and abrasive to take... but I've seen her evolve and change over the years...and i totally Love her now. She packs a solid spiritual punch , with a dose of reality and "harden up princess no nonsense talk" ...and quite frankly i think i can do with a dose of it!!! LOL I thank my angels for directing me to this video today as im laying by the pool on vacations...as its exactly what i needed to hear!! An amazing healing talk..Thanks Caroline!!

You spoke about "footsteps in the snow"... I had footsteps, in gumboots, in the adjacent room, they then walked into my room and around my bed. My eyes remained closed, but they communicated that it was quite incredible that I was awake and "aware" of all of them.

I have used Bach Flowers and Reiki for years now. I did have to do the medical route for a few years, in and out of mental hospital. Oh and it DID all begin with me telling God not to piss on me, when synchronistically the rain moved in under the awning for a moment, just to wet me briefly. That was a day many years ago. It was also because I had completely opened up with my Reiki II course. I was convinced I had a "direct line" to God and I picked up the actual telephone ... I thought my Reiki master would start taking dictation... :-)

Beautiful Caroline, many more of us, ppl, who get up and try to Love everyday, often unsuccessfully, are ppl who have never been, received, or felt receiving of Love from others. If we all KNEW love the true, God kind, even the tinyist bit, there would be far less ppl sick, with chronicness that naked eyes cant see. She’s right on the money. She has the “gift of Gab” as they said back in the day. She reaches down inside of herself and comes out with the perfect words to get her message across. She is an incredible speaker. She always has been.
You are so right. When you have experienced the Holy Spirit, it's not able to be expressed in words. The only person I know who described it perfectly, an Artist, made an entire collection that states, "It's known by what it moves." She and I click I think because of pure honesty. My son, who's also an Artist and how we met says, " you and Bette are crazy good'. After I listen to your lectures, that's what I think about your teachings, You're crazy good. No excuses, no pats on the back for us being lost, you just lead us to truth, God is law. That's what we need. Thank you for your patience.Thank you for your time on you tube. I pray all the time even in casual conversation throughout the day. I feel good about knowing I'm being guided and protected no matter what. I love knowing that all things are protected and deserve respect. I especially am grateful for your unselfish teachings to us. Amazing.

I love her talk because she packs her presentations with so much information and guidance but I wish she would be less crusty in her responses to people (listen to 1:30 on).
@niki wiki She went beyond being honest; she was insulting to someone who paid to attend her talk and tried to contribute to the experience by being brave enough to stand up and ask a questions about fear. What she got was a public dressing down and shaming. Myss had no right to publicly humiliate anyone in order to make a point, no matter how much the point needed to be made. Suck that up.
She just said, “you have no right to abuse anyone”??
The only way to overcome the power of your fear is to walk through it. If you avoid fear it will control you.

yes we're opening up intuitively to our Inner-Being. our goal is to be in alignment with our Source, so we can receive the guidance and the impulses. Our Inner-Beings have already created vibrationally what we have asked for and are guiding us to the path of least resistance. Most people that pray do so from a place of yearning and hoping for a desired outcome. there is no need for that type of request when you know that we only need alignment with who we really are, which is Source Energy God in a physical body.
